"The location is a 2 minute walk to the beach and that's automatically a huge plus. The lobby smelled good but the room so so. The breakfast in the morning had good selections like fresh croissants and various packaged danishes. I didn't try the meat patties but they smelled horrendous. I like them generally but that smell was unusually bad. Service was good. For $140, I'm not sure if I'd stay again, but being it's basically on the beach it's ok I guess. For around $110 it'd be excellent value."

"I had a confirmed reservation at Holiday Inn Express, only to arrive and find the hotel completely closed. How does a company allow bookings for a property that isn’t even operating? When I contacted IHG Hotels & Resorts guest services, the experience got even worse. I was on hold for over 30 minutes, and the only “solution” offered was a hotel 40 minutes away. After traveling, this is completely unacceptable. This is beyond poor customer service—it’s a complete failure in basic operations and communication. IHG clearly does not value its customers’ time or trust. I will never book with them again."

"What a lovely place to celebrate our anniversary!! It’s easy to find and walking distance to a ton of bars, restaurants and other activities (like mini golf, waterfront, duck pin bowling). We added the romance package which added beautiful roses, champagne, $50 toward dinner at 1 of 4 restaurants, a coach tour, and a cheese, nut and fruit tray. The breakfasts are NOT average ones. Between the presentation and the gourmet recipes… delicious. The hosts, Lisa and Ron went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. And Sandy gave kisses on our way in or out unless she was on squirrel duty. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Friendly, helpful staff. However it 2:15 we were told our room would be ready in 30 min and someone would call us. I did not receive a phone call & had to go back in one he. to check on the status of our room! Most of the food for breakfast. However the egg omelet did not have much taste & the bacon was greasy and so very thin! Bed and pillows were very comfortable. 5"
