Hike to the knoll and gasp at the amazing view of Gloucester as schooners sail by. Play tennis, bring your kids to the playground, or hike to the top of Tablet Rock. Lay at the beach or dip in the ocean at Cressy or Half Moon beach. Or walk up the hill out the front door to hike at the 60 acre nature preserve, Ravenswood Park. Order an ice cream cone or seafood from the Cupboard. Or walk back and grill in the backyard kitchen.

Rainy day - no problem! You can visit the Hammond Castle – just a short drive to see this fascinating building and artifacts. Or visit the Cape Ann Museum with artifacts from the Revolutionary War, beautiful paintings and sculptures new and old. Go antique shopping in Essex or go to the movies at our local theater.
