The positive thing was that the room had a terrasse and everything in the room was OK. The view from the hotel (but not our room) is great. The bad: The wifi didn't work. I asked one employee and she said; ”The wifi always works. If you can't get it to work, then YOU are doing something wrong” and then she left!!! Tried to talk to another staff member, but other than showing me the password, she couldn't / wouldn't help. The next morning it - as by a miracle - worked, without us doing anything. Talked to a 3rd employee (the manager?) when checking out, and he said that the staff doesn't know anything about the wifi, and showed me it worked. However, at the same time, the network to the credit card terminal stopped working... The trash can in the room smelled so badly from smoking/cigarettes I had to place it outside. Had to reserve a timeslot in the restaurant, even though it was almost empty (other hotels and restaurants in Germany simply asks you to fill out a form for Corona tracking purposes)... The room was very small.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is located over several old buildings and is full of character and charm. The room was very clean and renovated to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased to have a tea and coffee station in the room. Breakfast was amazing with lots of good quality food to choose from and the breakfast room was a modern glass building that had been cleverly integrated into the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend staying here.

There was a wedding ceremony at the hotel, so we stayed at the hotel apartment. Well, all I can say is that the apartment was amazing. All the homely essentials and well located right in the heart of the town centre next to the market platz and the train station is only 5 minutes away. There is an assortment of shops and restaurants close by too. Room was clean and had a great ambience about it.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, großzügiges Einzelzimmer! Auch das Badezimmer außergewöhnlich geräumig. Das Bett sehr breit mit angenehm härterer Matratze. Die Dusche mit wohltuender Strahlstärke und gleichbleibender Temperatur. Das Frühstücksbuffet in Ordnung. Ich habe eine andere Ernährungsform, da ist es immer etwas schwerer. Zimmer lag zur Straße und zum Bahnhof hin und ist deshalb nur für Frühaufsteher (Straßenreinigung und lautstarkes Mülleimer leeren sonntags um 7 Uhr) und für Leute mit festem Schlaf (Zugverkehr und laute Taxifahrer) geeignet.

We arrived yesterday, and the hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. First, the staff are amazing. Polite, freindly, well informed and good English. We were given a map and shown the best routes to various sites. The recommended restaurant was excellent amd am experience in itself. 5 stars to all! Secondly, the room met our needs perfectly, with a bedroom on the upper level and the sofa bed set up and ready for the second sleeper. The beds, pilliw and linens were very comfy. The balcony with table and chairs was an added bonus. Thirdly, the elegant and modern bathroom was top notch, from the toilet paper to the makeup mirror. The shower had good pressure, enough hot water and plenty of towels, I am now enjoying a very, very delicious latte and juice on the sunny terrace, as I decide on the breakfast choices from the buffet. Highly recommended and very glad we are booked for a second night!

The hotel is really the center of the old town. Only a few minutes walk. Our rooms are en suite, well-equipped, and sparkling clean. The breakfast is really recommended and the price is 2.50 euros. We are completely satisfied with our stay at the Graul Hotel!
