"This hotel truly excels in every aspect, from service to amenities. The thoughtful touches in the room, like the humidifier, wet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers, earplugs, and plastic slippers, show they really consider the guest's perspective. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When I checked out, they even offered a 'princess treatment' service, escorting me all the way to my ride-sharing car. I noticed many families staying here, which makes sense given the excellent family-friendly services. The front desk offers a breakfast voucher for just one yuan, and for multiple guests staying multiple nights, they thoughtfully arrange rooms together. Breakfast itself is delicious and varied, with the crispy fried pork (guoba rou) and tofu pudding being particular highlights."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station and airport shuttle. It's also easy to catch a taxi; just turn left onto the main road. Turning left also takes you directly to Central Avenue, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the Hongzhuan Street morning market. Getting around is very convenient, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby downstairs. Our room had a balcony facing the street, but it was very quiet at night. The front desk service was great, and they even provided hot bottled water. The room had a separate wet and dry area, and while it was a bit small, the layout was relatively reasonable. If you have a large suitcase, you might not have much space to open it up, but if you're traveling light, it's highly recommended. It offers great value for money. I stayed for four days and overall, I was very satisfied."

"Harbin was the last stop on our road trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral. The room was spacious and well-equipped, clean and hygienic. The most unexpected bonus was the parking lot in the back, which was incredibly convenient. Both the front desk and cleaning staff provided excellent service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "Stayed at this hotel again, and I'll definitely choose it next time I'm in Harbin. They upgraded me to room 312 for free, whereas last time I was in 310. The room is spacious, comfortable, bright, and tidy, with plenty of sunlight throughout the day. The windows can be opened easily for ventilation, which is a plus. I especially loved the bed linens – they were thick, soft, smooth, and breathable. The service was very attentive; I had a lot of shopping, and the front desk thoughtfully brought me a carrying bag and promptly provided drinking water. There's a fish tank in the lobby that I always enjoy looking at when coming and going. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Baroque area. It's convenient for getting to the riverside park, the snack street, and local markets… pretty much everywhere, and even better for dining. They were very friendly and kind to my kids, speaking to them gently. My two boys moved the small slide from the second-floor play area to our room to avoid disturbing other guests. Was that a bit selfish of us? Luckily, we didn't see any other children around."

"This is the first five-star review I've given a hotel all year. The hotel is right next to Central Street and very close to the Central Street subway station. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and of course, Central Street itself is great for shopping, so the location is excellent. But these are secondary; the hotel's overall service and facilities were truly impressive. The staff's warm service and the perfect facilities left a deep impression on me. Even though we only had one suitcase, the doorman helped us carry it all the way to our room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped, especially the fully automatic toilet. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right. The quality of the dental kit was also very good; I even took a new set home. Besides the buffet, it seems there are also special daily offerings for breakfast, and afternoon tea is provided. The room was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Harbin again."

"The hotel's bed was very comfortable, and they even provided four pillows. The room was also spotlessly clean 🌹🌹. The amenities like coffee and tea were complimentary. The in-room phone for the front desk was built into the wall, which looked very sleek. The whole room was controlled by a voice-activated smart assistant, which was really clever. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I originally booked for two days and ended up extending my stay for another two. Highly recommended!"

AAninininiThe hotel service was truly exceptional. On my first day, I used a toilet seat cover, and from the next day onwards, disposable toilet seat covers were provided daily. Housekeeping was always prompt, and fresh fruit and mineral water were replenished regularly. The bedding was changed every two days. What was even more incredible was that on my last day, while packing, I noticed that all the black scuff marks from baggage handling on my suitcase had been wiped clean! The location is also superb. A left turn leads to the Hongzhuan Street morning market, and a short walk to the right takes you to Central Street. I never had breakfast at the hotel because there were so many great food options nearby. I'd go out in the morning, come back for a rest at noon, and then head out again in the afternoon, feeling completely refreshed. Wandering around the old streets near the hotel, you can find beautiful small churches and old buildings – absolutely fantastic! If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

LLieu Munn LoongI have had a 4-night stay at this Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Pedestrian Street) Room #308 from 23 to 27 March 2026. The Hotel is located very near the popular 1.5km Central Street (a must-go for people who love to immerse Russian architectural of the golden era). There are many eateries and shops along this pedestrian street, so it is extremely convenient to hunt for food, especially the Russia cuisines. The Hotel itself is not old and run down as it appears quite new, however, the building can be quite old and it can be better maintained by the building owner. It has a modest but modern lobby with welcoming sofas, with free serving of hot coffee and tea, plus free supply of bottled water! It is generally clean and maintained. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, whenever I ask for directions and recommendations of food and places of interest. The hotel family room that I have booked is about 400sq ft - it is meant for 3! The decoration is contemporary and modern, and the double-glazed has helped to shut the traffic noise off near 100%. It is certainly spacious and clean, with 1 queen bed and 1 super single bed, a small sofa set, and a big TV. It does not have a so called proper wardrobe, the proper vanity top is outside the very big shower room that is separated from the powerful WC. It has strong water pressure for comfortable showers everyday. The firm mattress and pillows are comfortable for my liking. The Hotel also has a laundry room that provides free washing and drying for hotel guests. Within the laundry comes with a treadmill, a stationery bicycle, and a workout station for guests who wish to do some simple exercise. The hotel also offers daily breakfast buffets at about ¥49 per pax, which is limited in variety but it gives a good start for the day. At SGD S$36 per night for a very spacious room without breakfast , I find it extremely value for money, and I will surely choose to stay here again when I visit Harbin again to experience the magical winter world!

The bedding was comfortable, the hairdryer worked great, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very enjoyable shower experience. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations; both the Chinese and Western options were delicious, clearly showing a dedication to high-quality food. The service was also excellent. It's very close to West Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

The location is also convenient; while it's a bit far from the 731 Unit Museum, it's quick to get to Daoli District. The hotel is cleaned thoroughly and promptly every day. The front desk staff were very professional and attentive, providing us with 6 bottles of water daily and even complimentary fruit. They were always ready to help. The hotel staff who assisted with luggage were also very thoughtful. The shuttle service was excellent too; you just need to book 2 hours in advance, and it can take you to Harbin Ice and Snow World and Sunac Snow Park at the adjacent Sunac Mall. There's also MixC nearby, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with family to Harbin, the best parts were definitely the location and the value for money. The hotel is right at the southern end of Central Street, making it super convenient for taxis – no long walks needed. I compared several hotels and noticed the one next door, a Hilton, offered direct views of Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral, which really appealed to me. This place, however, beat them all in both location and value. You can even catch a glimpse of the Songhua River from some spots. The family room was spacious and well-equipped. You can tell they really made the most of the space. There's also an unlimited supply of bottled water by the elevator, and the hotel has its own dedicated building. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, and plenty of seating, making it feel very open. The service was incredibly warm and friendly, and they even offered afternoon tea. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

JJa ChnThis was my second trip to Harbin, and after a really bad experience with a hotel near the airport on my first visit (they sold my booking to a terrible guesthouse), I've always been wary and distrustful of hotels in that area. However, this stay completely changed my mind! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for the airport. They even called me in advance to ask for my flight arrival time, and shortly after landing, I received a call for my pickup – super hassle-free. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bed was just the right firmness, making for a very refreshing night's sleep. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; both check-in and check-out were quick, and they were very responsive to any requests I had. Plus, breakfast was included. Overall, this was an excellent stay, offering fantastic value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to my friends!

GGuest UserOne of the coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! From the first moments inside I was smitten by the fresh aroma in the hotel, which was lingering in the lift and in the rooms. It’s not an unbearable perfume, but a very subtle hint of floral freshness. The hotel is undoubtedly clean and comfortable; everything from the hairdryer and shampoo to the massage bed is wonderful and clearly maintained. They have a cute robot that delivers food straight to your room. The rooms are clean and the smart home function with its automatic curtains is very convenient on those lazy mornings before another eventful day. The breakfast is very cozy and tasty, I especially loved the steamed buns and the coconut coffee. The location is just right, the road allows for a comfortable taxi access, and within a 10-15 walk you can see the beautiful Central Street. And right outside the hotel there are many delicious food options (though, I recommend robot delivery for ultimate cozyness). The staff is polite and helpful, especially the ladies (I once again confirmed ladies are always much more professional and helpful in every nation, the young man at the counter was not helpful at all). All in all, this hotel made my stay very enjoyable. If I’ll have an opportunity to return to Harbin, I would love to choose this hotel again 💖

GGuest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night? The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view. The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please. This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret. It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place? Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
