During the meeting, the room was tight and we could only book a standard room. But when we walked in, the room was so big. It could accommodate two adults and two children. The shower was very comfortable and the water was very large. It was so comfortable in the cold season.

The room was very clean, and I was upgraded to a suite for free. It was very comfortable with my children. The breakfast is very rich, which solves the problem of eating. The swimming pool is very clean. My children come here every day to play in it and refuse to come out. Next to it are the hot spring pool and fish therapy pool, which are clean. When you soak in the hot spring, someone will bring you warm water. The service is very good. I will come again next time.

The room is very spacious and bright. The location is excellent. It feels very lively when you go downstairs. The surrounding buildings are a bit old and dark, and the lights in the room are not bright enough. But in general, it is okay for any reason.

The breakfast was delicious and the ingredients were good. It took five minutes to receive the meal when I went to eat breakfast, but the chefs and waiters in the restaurant were very polite, and they even cooked noodles and fried eggs. Although the hotel has been in business for many years, its quality is still very hardcore in terms of hardware facilities and overall planning. I saw the huge investment and exquisite construction at that time. I chose this hotel because I had to catch a flight early in the morning. I didn't have high expectations for it. The attentive front desk lady said that she had upgraded my room. The weather was very cold these two days. As soon as I entered the room, the heating was turned on and it was warm. The room is very large, with double sinks, a bathtub, and very comfortable bedding. I am really satisfied. The flight was at 7 o'clock in the morning, and the hotel actually arranged a Mercedes-Benz to take me to the airport for free. This treatment really shows that the hotel really pampers its guests. I often go to and from Meilan Airport, and I will stay here next time~ Eadry Hotel, you must remember me~

The environment is very quiet and the service attitude at the front desk is very satisfactory. I am very grateful to the two staff members at the front desk, Manager Zhao and Jin Yi, for checking in very kindly. He also personally helped me carry my luggage to the room. Will come again next time

Mercure Haikou is a newly opened hotel under Huazhu. As our domestic brand, it is also one of my favorite affordable hotels. This time, Mercure Haikou is newly opened. I stayed in a top-floor suite. The room is very comfortable, the city view outside the window is beautiful, the bedding is very skin-friendly, there is a large bathtub for a good bath, and I slept well every night. Because it is on the top floor, it is very quiet and not noisy. I didn't experience breakfast because it was midnight every time I came back from drinking, so I didn't experience breakfast. Let me talk about the service again. The service at the front desk was also very good. They also took me to see other rooms, and finally chose this suite. There is also the room aunt on the floor who is responsive, always greeted warmly, and the service is also fast. By the way, you can also send a glass of red wine to the room for free every day. If I remember correctly, it is French Merlot. Drink a glass to sleep well. Good reviews! I hope it can continue! Not just during the opening period.

Perfect hotel, good location and easy to find. The hotel staff are very friendly, plus a few of them can speak English, which made things a bit easier for a laowai like us. We love our room as it gave us a full glimpse of the beautiful sea just about 300m away. In addition, the booking comes with breakfast for two, and the restaurant have got varieties of food items on offer; different Chinese and Western cuisines. We will sure book the hotel the next time we need to book a hotel in Haikou. Thank you, Hampton, for your hospitality, see you again another time.

GGuest UserWe sadly got stuck in Haikou in the time when Hainan was plaqued by a Covid outbreak and there was no way to leave the Island. Luckily we picked this Hotel to wait it out, and we stayed here in total 12 nights of which we spend basically the whole time inside our room. The whole hotel has a nice Flair, everything is green and fitting the theme of forest. The room was quite comfy and welcoming, all amenities were there and working. The only downside was that the WiFi was pretty slow (therefore only 4points), so we basically needed to use our mobile internet the whole time. As this was a special situation we had a lot of interaction with the Hotel staff which, even that they didn't speak any English, always was extremely helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to support us. They washed our clothes for free and there was delicious free coffee and fresh fruit provided which gave us an extra welcoming feeling!
Due to our situation I can't really rate the location as we were not allowed to explore the surroundings, but all the positive experiences mentioned definitely put this place up there as one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
If I'd ever return to Haikou I'd definitely go back to this Hotel.

GGuest UserThis place is great. Very clean and everything is new and hi-tech. A robot brings your orders to you right to your room door. Smart toilet seat (warmed-up at all times). Motion detector-activated night lights. Smart mirror.
I twisted an ankle playing polo on the 2nd day of my Haikou stay. And, instead of having a nice tropical vacation, had to spend almost 3 weeks in bed in my hotel room, barely able to walk. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me cope with the injury. They were giving me Hainan specialty foods, like coconut candy and coconut chips for free.
Special thanks to
1) the Front Desk staff. All of them.
2) the 7th Floor cleaning ladies. They cleaned my room daily, while I actually had to sit in the room, as I had a hard time walking. They showed simpathy and understanding and were wishing me speedy recovery every day.
On the check-out day I had an early morning flight to catch, so I checked out at 4am. The front desk girl gave me for free a pack of milk, a packed cookie and a pack of nuts so I could have a quick breakfast. I didn't even ask for that, so thanks.

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant 3 nights stayed at V8plus Huanzhi Hotel Haikou Qilou Laojie Branch. We have received excellent supports and services from your staff, from the reception, housekeeping and breakfast services. They were polite and very helpful. A sufficient good breakfast spread. We thank you for the free cold packed drinks given to us when we return to the hotel after a hot day out. At night after 10pm, super the green beans soup and free used of washer and dryer for laundry. This is one of the best modern hotel with excellent service we've ever stayed so far.
We would like to specially commend one of your staff Mr Li from the reception service, who has so kindly help us without hesitation to book 2 car transfer to the MeiLan International Airport using his personal mobile app a day before our departure. On our day of departure 20th April from 7.45am (even though he official starts work at 9am), Mr Li went extra miles communicated with us and the drivers through WeChat to ensure our smooth pick up at the hotel to the airport.
The modern smart facilities in the room is good but it would be more helpful and effective if there are English languages translation in an app or on written leaflet to services foreigner and or english speaking senior citizen travellers above age 60 like us.
We would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers visiting HaiKou, best location, modern facilities, well kept and staff services are excellent.

We stayed for another 4 nights this time and discovered the small and beautiful garden on the 4th floor.
Floor can be cleaner as we are not wearing shoes in the room. The sand in the room should be covered.
Great experience overall.

KKD-TGood large room that is similar style to a Studio Apartment. Has a good open feel to it. Has a kitchen area however has no cooking utensils or items other then some cups and a kettle which suited my needs. There are many snack foods, restaurants and shopping places across the road at the Yuanda Shopping Center. There is a washing machine and laundry liquid is provided. Very handy indeed. And the smart toilet is an interesting experience. You will see.
Access is from behind the front of the building facing main Road. Walk to the back area then enter the lobby and take lift up to the 10th Floor and find Bella smart hotel office down the corridor. The staff in that apartment made into an office, will check your booking credentials and ID and give you your room card. Easy. And the gentleman was very friendly even when we where using the translation APP as my Chinese isn't so good. NOTE: Only certain lifts go to the higher floors and sometimes may have a little wait for it to arrive.
Cleaning staff are also friendly and always offered more water even if I didn't need them to clean the room.
Close to convention and Exhibition Center as well. Walking distance about 15 mins away.

BBenjamin Sch.We (German family) have visited the hotel during our Hainan vacations. The location is great within a Chinese local quarter and close to a beautiful large park with view on the Haikou bay.
The staff is very friendly and helpful but you need to speak some English to get things done. We have three children so we booked the family suite on the 33rd floor which was very spacious and suitable for us. The equipment in the hotel was a bit older and partially worn down but all still functional and could be used well. But for the price I would not complain too much. Cleanliness was okay but not superior. The rooms smelled a bit moldy from time to time and needed good ventilation.
The offered breakfast was okay for us (as we did not expect a lot of international food). The children found suitable dishes like cereal, small cakes, noodles or fried rice. The fruit offerings were good.
A negative point from my side was the very bad coffee quality. The offered filtered coffee was really not good. These days many local Chinese hotels have small fresh brew coffee machines to offer a coffee or even Cappuccino. I recommend the hotel to invest into one. Fortunately for us there was a Starbucks across the street and a Luckin Coffee will open later down the street.
Overall a nice time in Haikou and we would book the family suite again due to the good price.

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apar**ent. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
