Χοχότ Hostels

"Before my stay, I booked this place based on its high ratings and positive reviews, mainly because it's only four stops from the stadium, making it super convenient for concerts. It's about 2.5km from Kuanzhai Alley, not super close, but fine for a taxi. The place was clean and tidy, and the cleaning lady was lovely. The only downside was on the 5th when I came back from a concert and was eating in the living room. Two women came back and were talking incredibly loudly in the living room. I was eating quietly, and the other girl who was on her phone in the living room before me was also quiet. These two women were just something else! However, my roommates for the two days were all great; everyone knew to keep quiet. I'd definitely go back if I have the chance! Solo female travelers, you should absolutely stay here!!! But why, owner, did you not even reply to my message when I informed you I was checking out? (So annoyed!)"

"A very good youth hostel. It is located in a community and is as comfortable as home. The public space is very large. There is a living room, a dining table, a kitchen, a sofa, a TV, a refrigerator and a washing machine. The facilities are very complete. Everyone is very nice (forgot I took some pictures of the place and will post some travel pictures)"

"Overall, it's okay, the service attitude is very good, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. The room is not too big and is well organized. Generally speaking, it was quite peaceful to sleep at night. However, the air conditioner makes a sizzling sound and the quality of the bedding needs to be improved."

"Had an amazing stay at Hang Gai International Youth Hostel! Three of us stayed and the hostel itself was just what you need - comfy bed, hot water and in a great location to explore the city (you can get subway, taxi or cycle/ebike pretty much everywhere). But what made the stay so good was Hanggai and the amazing trip we went on to the grasslands. Hanggai is a fantastic hostel, very friendly and welcoming, and we spent an evening at his place a few hours drive for the hostel; as you can see by the photos it was a beautiful location and super quiet. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again Hanggai, we had a great time! 😊"

"My solo trip to A Ray of Sunshine Youth Hostel was a 10/10 experience! The 'Sunshine Warm Goddess' four-person room was clean and tidy, and the common areas were bright, comfortable, and well-equipped with great facilities. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. The atmosphere felt just like home. I met so many interesting people here, and it offers amazing value for money. It's perfect for solo travelers, and I highly recommend it!"

"The boss is very good, arrived very late but waited for me. The room was clean and there was a big wardrobe. In the most central location in Hohhot, it is very convenient to go anywhere, let alone eat. Overall a good person experience. The hotel is great, beyond my imagination"

"Booked an air-conditioned quadruple room, because Yinchuan has a very comfortable climate, and you can sleep comfortably without a quilt at night. Check-in will allocate a set of bedding to make your own, and then get it to the front desk when you check out. There is a water dispenser on the first floor, which corresponds to two toilets, two bathrooms and a hair dryer on the floor. It is worth mentioning that there are many sockets on the bed, which is completely enough. The roommates I met were also very qualified, the boss was also good, and I will stay here next time I come to Yinchuan."
