"The eight-person room was very spacious with an open view from the 21st-floor window. It was convenient for washing and drying clothes, and overall clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable to sleep on, and the ladder to the top bunk was wide, so staying on the upper bunk was perfectly fine. The location is excellent. You can easily take a bus from Mingai Shopping Mall to Kuanxiangzi for delicious food, or to Dazhao and Xilituzhao to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The subway makes it convenient to visit the Inner Mongolia Museum and Hohhot Station; Metro Line 2 is just a few minutes' walk away. Nearby, there's an old local restaurant serving fantastic lamb offal shaomai – definitely try the one at Baiji!"

"Had an amazing stay at Hang Gai International Youth Hostel! Three of us stayed and the hostel itself was just what you need - comfy bed, hot water and in a great location to explore the city (you can get subway, taxi or cycle/ebike pretty much everywhere). But what made the stay so good was Hanggai and the amazing trip we went on to the grasslands. Hanggai is a fantastic hostel, very friendly and welcoming, and we spent an evening at his place a few hours drive for the hostel; as you can see by the photos it was a beautiful location and super quiet. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again Hanggai, we had a great time! 😊"

"Pros: Excellent location, it nearby the metro and many bus stops, and it’s easy to find especially with the hostel’s help (so text them in advance!). The room itself was great and the hostel provided: bed sheets, a towel, tooth brush and tooth paste, slippers, a fan, and some cups. In the bathroom you can find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, hand soap and most importantly toilet paper (sometimes). There’s also a water boiler and a washer. I like the concept of do-it-yourself here, which is made possible by the hostel. Cons: There is only one toilet and shower which are in the same room so finding the right time to use it may be a challenge. Additionally, the toilet is a squat and usually smelled really bad so beware! Only trash cans in the hostel are the ones by the door entrance and bathroom."

"Overall, it's okay, the service attitude is very good, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. The room is not too big and is well organized. Generally speaking, it was quite peaceful to sleep at night. However, the air conditioner makes a sizzling sound and the quality of the bedding needs to be improved."

"A Hohhot Youth Hostel that opened soon, the location is very good, convenient to travel; the overall space is wide, transformed from a whole building; the room and public space are clean and tidy; The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, will take a team to different attractions (very conscience price, consider for tourists), and will also organize activities 🫡🫶 It is recommended that passers-by make some stops here 🤸"

"A very good youth hostel. It is located in a community and is as comfortable as home. The public space is very large. There is a living room, a dining table, a kitchen, a sofa, a TV, a refrigerator and a washing machine. The facilities are very complete. Everyone is very nice (forgot I took some pictures of the place and will post some travel pictures)"

"The boss is very good, arrived very late but waited for me. The room was clean and there was a big wardrobe. In the most central location in Hohhot, it is very convenient to go anywhere, let alone eat. Overall a good person experience. The hotel is great, beyond my imagination"
