The visitor center offers an excellent opportunity to learn about marine life conservation. We feel privileged to have this visitor’s center right next door.In front of the visitor center and the entire complex is the historic Ko’ie’ie Fish Pond, also known as The King’s Fish Pond, dating back to the 1500’s. According to local legend it was build by the Menehunes, known for their strength and ability, and said to have built the pond in just one evening. The adjacent beach, Kalepolepo, is loved by locals and visitors for its’ safe and shallow gentle surf, ideal for children and those who enjoy the calmness.As you enter the complex, there is ample complimentary parking.
