I'd give it a 10 just for the breakfast, which was varied and made with excellent products. "WE WERE ATTRACTED BY THE CENTRAL POSITION OF THE HOTEL AND BY THE FACT THAT IT IS A FOUR STAR HOTEL, IN ORDER TO VISIT ISCHIA WE DECIDED TO BEAR THE COST OF 300 EUROS PER NIGHT FOR A DOUBLE ROOM WITH HALF BOARD. UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE NEGATIVELY SURPRISED BY THE POORNESS OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED. THERE ARE NO AGREEMENTS WITH BEACHES AND/OR THERMAL PARKS. THE POOL IS REALLY SMALL AND NEEDS IMMEDIATE DISINFESTATION, MOSQUITOES AND FLIES OVERPOPULATE AND PROLIFERATE FREELY IN THAT AREA. THE DINNER IS POOR, THE QUALITY NOT OF THE BEST, IT WOULD BE ENOUGH TO THROW A LITTLE SMOKE IN THE EYES OF THE CUSTOMERS, STRENGTHENING IT WITH AT LEAST A BUFFET OF VEGETABLES, SINCE THE POLICY OF SAVINGS MAINLY APPLIES IN THIS STRUCTURE. THE SERVICE AT THE TABLES IS VERY SLOW, IN THESE TERMS IT HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED THAT DINNER UNFORTUNATELY IS NOT THE BEST. A REAL SIN, SOME MORE ATTENTION WOULD BE ENOUGH TO IMPROVE EVERYTHING WITHOUT RAISING MANAGEMENT COSTS, ALSO BECAUSE THE STRUCTURE LOOKS WELL EXTERNALLY. CLEANING IN GENERAL GOOD. WE HOPE TO RETURN TO ISCHIA SOON, BUT I DOUBT THAT WE WILL RETURN TO THIS HOTEL."

Είναι ένα πολύ οικονομικά αποδοτικό ξενοδοχείο, το οποίο συνιστάται με έμφαση!"

"Warm and helpful welcome by Rosario, he is a super host who was always on hand for anything we needed during our 3 night stay. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the pool and jacuzzi always clean. If you rent a car or scooter (Rosario helped with this as well) there is free parking behind the hotel. The rooms are spotless and come with basic amenities. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt at ease as soon as we met Rosario! We would love to come back, thank you so much."

The position was very comfortable and perfect for us who had heavy bags, being a step away from the port. The rooms are minimal but very clean and have everything you need to spend a weekend (marital bed, closet, desk, comforts, bedsides beds, mirror, wifi, towels and a bathroom with soaps). But what has most deserved a positive review is certainly the welcome of the owners, gentle and smileful, who have allowed us to leave our baggage in the building even after check-out. "A Little Gem of a hotel situated down a side street and right on the beach. Calm, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We had room 102 and although it was a basement room it was in no way dark or dingy, we picked this room because of the seperate private terrace. It was spotless and cleaned every day. At this time of the year (April) it was very quiet but I can't see it being noisy even at the height of the season. Great value for the price we paid. The service was excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. I would recommend Hotel Rivamare to anyone seeking a no-frills, basic, clean, friendly, family run hotel. We had a lovely time and hope to return in September!"

Achieving high standards in hospitality is complex, but maintaining them (and improving upon them) is certainly arduous, requiring special dedication and expertise.
