"A nice, functional, and semi-central hotel. The room is small but has all the comforts, as does the bathroom; it's a shame the shower is too small. The spa has a pool with an efficient hydromassage. The restaurant is spacious and the food is good. Service is prompt. Unfortunately, a bottle of water costs €3.50 and a modest glass of wine costs a whopping €6. The cost wasn't disclosed beforehand, as the daily menu only lists the dishes to order. A little more transparency wouldn't hurt."

"Ένα μικρό κοσμηματοπωλείο ενός ξενοδοχείου, που βρίσκεται σε ένα πλαϊνό δρόμο και ακριβώς στην παραλία. Είχαμε δωμάτιο 102 και αν και ήταν ένα υπόγειο, δεν ήταν καθόλου σκοτεινό ή γεμάτο, διαλέξαμε αυτό το δωμάτιο λόγω της χωριστής ιδιωτικής βεράντας, ήταν άδειο και καθάριζε κάθε μέρα. Αυτή τη στιγμή του έτους (Απρίλιος) ήταν πολύ ήσυχα, αλλά δεν μπορώ να δω να είναι θορυβώδης ακόμα και στην κορυφή της εποχής. Μεγάλη αξία για την τιμή που πληρώσαμε. Η υπηρεσία ήταν εξαιρετική, φιλική, αποτελεσματική και χρήσιμη πάντοτε. Θα ήθελα να συστήσω το Hotel Rivamare σε όποιον αναζητά ένα ξενοδοχείο χωρίς φούρνο, ένα βασικό, καθαρό, φιλικό, οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο. "We loved this hotel and the location. Our room looked out at the castle. We were cobvient to the downtown area, bus station and port. We arrived by ferry from Sorrento.our hotel was not far from port. Our room was comfortable. Room for our things. Breakfast included and it was good. Pools were nice. We only used once due to weather. Plenty of places to walk to. Beach across the street. Friendly staff. Great value for what we paid. We had mostly rain but will return to this beautiful island. I would stay here again."

"This hotel gave me a very big surprise. First of all, the location is very good, not far from Aragon Castle and Ischia Pier, all within walking distance. The hotel gave me a free room upgrade, and the balcony of the room directly overlooks the Aragon Castle, with invincible sea views. The hotel also has a two-story public roof terrace with a wide view and feels that the Aragon Castle is within easy reach. The hotel's service is also very good, including a rich breakfast. This is a very cost-effective hotel, highly recommended!"

"We have just spent a week at this sensational hotel. The photographs don't do it justice. Everything is perfect from the reception, restaurant, outside areas, bedrooms and pools. As for the view from the restaurant . Magnificent. The staff are all wonderful. So professional and very well dressed. Friendly and very helpful. I am not going to mention names. Or I am bound to leave someone out. Everything is so tastefully done. From the hand painted floral tiles to the beautiful lounge area, all decked out in yellow.. I was impressed with the restaurant, glass tables with sea themed condiment sets. Beautiful orchids on every table. Even see through chairs. So nothing blocked the magnificent view. As for the food. Amazing dinners every night. Always beautifully presented. My compliments to the chefs. Would I go back there? You betcha, tomorrow if I could. It is in a very peaceful setting. There is even a short cut down to the town . A bit steep for part of the way back. I just about managed it with the help of the handrail. ((I wish I was 43 instead of 73. ) The bedroom was spotless. Lovely clean towels every day. Everything so fresh and inviting. Plenty of hot water for a shower. We had a lovely ground floor room , with a terrace. It overlooked the very well kept gardens, and had a wonderful sea view. Now if you think I am going on a bit, I really don't mind. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Loved it. Any negatives? Not at all. But for me, I would have preferred dinner earlier than 7.30. But I know from being within an Italian family, they do eat later than us Brits. Just go there and see for yourselves. You will not be disappointed."

"Old family-run hotel, excellent for those without big demands and for its location practically on the main street of the centre. Both the owner and his wife were very kind, the price for one night was reasonable in this period of inflation and crazy increases. The rooms and the hotel in general maintain that retro 80s style but this does not mean that it is not clean and tidy, the only flaw in my bathroom was the shower cabin with a broken door and patched with a sliding curtain. Another flaw is the breakfast, which is not served (but there are at least a couple of bars immediately outside). For the rest I found myself quite well."

"Το Hotel Solemar βρίσκεται κατά μήκος της αλυσίδας των οικογενειακών παραλιακών λέσχες της ακτής της Ischia Porto, σε μια σχετικά ήσυχη γειτονιά 3-5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από την πλατεία των καταστημάτων και των εστιατόρων που ευημερούν κάθε καλοκαίρι το βράδυ. Είχαμε ένα δωμάτιο που απέκτησε μια ήσυχη λεωφόρο κηπουρικής και ένα διπλά δωμάτιο με ένα μεγάλο μπαλκόνι θέατε την παραλία και τα δύο δωμάτια ήταν αρκετά ευρύχωρα για να φιλοξενήσουν τις αποσκευές.
