"David and Doreen were wonderful hosts in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The Tides, located in Ballybunion, is close to the ocean and not far from the interesting town of Listowel. The Tides is also a great base for exploring the Dingle peninsula, and even the Ring of Kerry. The amazing shower and comfortable bed in room 6 are simply wonderful!, and the breakfast is gorgeous! "Stayed here whilst on a golfing trip with afew friends on the last weekend in August. The host made us feel like we were an inconvenience to his Saturday evening. Down for breakfast the following morning & the staff were just so rigid & unfriendly! They’ve obviously had a long summer & need a break! We wont be returning here!"

"I stayed at the hotel whilst I was in Ballybunion to spend time in the place my late wife grew up and to reconnect with her family. Without the help of the wonderful people who run hotel I would not have found them. Aoife in particular made a huge effort. I am a wheelchair user and they gave me all of the help I needed. The hotel is everything you would want in a hotel. Everything is to the highest standard, including the rooms and the restaurant. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and served. I enjoyed the gentle music in the restaurant every night. The people at the hotel are so welcoming and kind. I would recommend it very highly."

"From your initial greeting by Ronan to your last goodbye, Cill Bhreac house treats you like you’re just come home. Cill Bhreac is a lovely home that offers views of the water from the front to grazing sheep out back. Rooms are comfortable with basic amenities and are well maintained and clean. Breakfast is nice with buffet selections as well as cooked and staff were friendly and more than accommodating. There are several nicely decorated and comfortable seating areas which you are encouraged to use. We sincerely appreciated the hosts attention to detail in providing a welcome book with many suggestions for enjoying the local area. It’s evident that the hosts are a family that are life long residents that are more than willing to share their love of the area with their guests."
