We are teachers and we travel with two 5 year old children for 3 months in South East Asia. In all this time we had never had such a bad experience in any accommodation. We had booked a triple room with a kitchen at the Lanta Maikeaw and on arrival we were given a much smaller, dirty bungalow with cracks where all sorts of bugs could get in. The owner had a booking message with confirmation of the most basic bungalow. We had a confirmation from Agoda with the upper bungalow. But what was really disappointing was the owner's attitude. She completely ignored the problem, as the triple room was occupied by another family. We proposed her to change the second night to a superior room and also compensate for the night we would spend in the more basic bungalow. She replied that she was sleeping and that we could but pay much more. Pitiful. Right in front of us and on the same road there are new, air-conditioned, clean bungalows for the same price or a little more. Obviously we didn't spend the second night there. We'd rather lose the money.

This is a resort that has a soul! We stayed at the Narima during the pandemics. It was almost empty, but this was a great experience. We were looking for a calm place with a ”hidden” beach. The service and the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the owners came by our table for a chat. We had a rare ”hidden paradice” feeling during our week-long stay. Narima is close to the road, but you do not notice it. The vegetation is varied which gives good shade throughout the day. The pool stays cool thanks to the spring water supply. The nicely terrased lay-out of the resort gives many different views and possibilities to hang out. . The beach is natural with sand and rocks and enjoyable even during ebb. For the kids there are lots of nice rocks, shells and crabs to collect! When you feel lazy, you may just spend time in the hammock on the balcony of your bungalow. Thanks for a great stay! We were super impressed with our accommodations here . Huge rooms , cozy linens , partially out door bathrooms were unique and plenty of space for hanging clothes etc There are approximately 13 villas spaced nicely in lush tropical gardens . There’s a good sized pool and restaurant area. At 1200 bht a night we consider this the best value in the area. The two guys on reception were super helpful, organised a snorkelling tour, rented us a scooter and had our laundry back within hours . Guests should welcome a harder mattress , mosque prayers at 5am and you’re not directly on the beach ( but the price tells you that ) Definitely will return here 🙏

This resort is exceptional: the bungalows are brand new, large, luxurious, very comfortable (the bedding is of very good quality), with a pleasant terrace where you can admire the sunsets. The pool is big and beautiful, you can swim in it. The landscaped garden is beautiful. Everything is built and decorated with perfect taste, it's a treat. It's very quiet and 2 minutes walk from the charming Old Lanta Town, a 7-Eleven and a small market. The staff (two brothers and their parents) are absolutely adorable, caring, very available and very efficient. We were able to rent a scooter thanks to them and they made the bus and boat reservations for us for the rest of our trip. We absolutely loved our one week stay there. We recommend 200%.

We had a bungalow with direct views of the beautiful beach and the sea. In the flood, the water is not 5 metres from the spacious terrace. The bungalow itself offers enough space and is stylishly furnished. Apart from a comfortable bed, the bathroom has a rainforest shower and a whirlpool which can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the evening. The staff is very friendly and premature, small shortcomings like a defected shower head were immediately fixed. Breakfast is served directly on the own terrace and is very delicious. All in all, the Hideaway was the best hotel in our entire Thailand holiday!

This is paradise and so special compared to other luxurious hotels. The resort is built in beautiful Thai style (with all the wooden handcraft and a beautiful garden) and a perfect feng sui, but with all the luxe you can think of. Even much better than the pictures. The Swiss owners who manage the resort are making you feel welcome, I loved that professional, but personal touch in everything. Every morning we had breakfast at the tables on the beach. The best place, but also the best breakfasts I’ve had in Thailand. They serve fresh fruitshakes and perfect cappuccino’s and I loved the homemade overnight oats, as well as the homemade bananabread. When you are there, you really should take a Thai massage. The best I got and the massage area at the beachfront is perfect because you hear the waves and feel the wind. I juist want to go back here.

Arrived with a 3-day booking and within a day had extended to 10-days. I found this resort beautiful with lovely spacious bungalows, and a fabulously designed bathroom/shower. The staff could not have been more friendlier or helpful with everything. The pool was a great size, next to the beach, with stunning views whilst swimming. All the food and shakes were delicious and at great prices. We rented a bike from the resort for our whole trip, and was close to everything. Fresh shower/beach towels everyday. The island itself was beautiful and if I ever return I would stay here again.
