"We had an amazing stay at Dan Koyao Retreat. The place is very peaceful, surrounded by a small jungle, with a beautiful infinity pool and a stunning view over the islands facing Koh Yao Noi. It’s the perfect spot to relax and disconnect. Sin, the manager and the whole team were incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure we felt comfortable. We truly had a wonderful time there. The breakfasts were amazing! We enjoyed both European and Thai breakfasts, and everything was absolutely delicious. One evening, the team even prepared a seafood dinner for us, grilled on site, which was fantastic. We highly recommend this place. It’s a truly lovely retreat and a great experience overall."

"Η γυναίκα μου κι εγώ μείναμε στο Yao Bada Badoo για 6 νύχτες και την αγαπούσαμε απόλυτα. Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν κλασικό και όμορφο με υψηλά στεγνά και σύγχρονα εξαρτήματα. Το μπάνιο ήταν μοντέρνο και το κρεβάτι ήταν τόσο άνετο που ήταν δύσκολο να βγεις. Η φιλοξενούμενη μας Στέισι και το προσωπικό της πήγαν πολύ ψηλά, ώστε να καταστήσουν την διαμονή μας πραγματικά φανταστική. Η τοποθεσία και η γειτονιά των παραλιών, οι δραστηριότητες, το δείπνο και η κεντρική αποβάθρα είναι τέλεια. Αν ψάχνετε για την οάση σας, αυτό είναι!! "

Sabai Corner Bungalows

"Let me start by saying that we took a two-week trip to Thailand and stayed in other bungalows nestled in the forest. We weren't expecting the comforts of a five-star hotel, but at least we were expecting an enclosed accommodation where we could rest at night in the middle of a forest full of animals. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. It should be noted that these aren't bungalows, but huts open on all sides, allowing insects and animals to enter from anywhere. The bed was surrounded by a mosquito net, but it had holes in some places: after two minutes, the bed was covered in mosquitoes. The accommodation was at the top of the mountain (inconvenient to reach and without lighting). The bathroom was outside the room, downstairs. We didn't feel at all comfortable, so we asked to change rooms, but they were all occupied. We then decided to look for another accommodation, which isn't easy on such a small island where it's already pitch black by 6 p.m. The hotel offered no help, let alone a refund, zero, even though we had paid for two nights' stay. They called us a taxi and we left. The structure and treatment were terrible."

Really lovely, kind, helpful lady owner who cannot do enough for you. Really excellent value for money in a stunningly beautiful and unspoilt location. "We had a fantastic time for a couple of nights. We were picked up at the speedboat pier, luggage brought for us to the hotel room, greeted with a welcome drink even before checking in, and able to enjoy the remote location and quiet vibe of the hotel. The swimming pool offers a great view, and was rarely in use. This is a very well run, newly built, clean and well serviced hotel. We did not experience any resort activities, nor were we offered any. We hired a scooter for a day, directly at the hotel, at the cost of 300baht. This was a fantastic way to go exploring! Food at the restaurant was very good, although not necessarily fine dining by western standards. Occasionally, some dishes would be unavailable due to missing ingredients, such as avocados - but I guess that is how it is to live on an island!  Otherwise a fantastic stay, with staff that really try their hardest for you. It was lovely."

"The facilities are very old. The open-air showers only have hot water; the cold water is broken, so you can't shower. The tent screens are covered in pudding. The only selling point is the same ocean view as Six Senses. The beach chair cushions are also full of stains."

"Οι βίλες ήταν πολύ ευρύχωρες μέσα, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της κουζίνας και της περιοχής καθίσματος, τουαλέτας με διπλό νιπτήρα, διακοσμημένα με την ταϊλανδική τέχνη και ένα μικρό βεράντα για 2 σαλόνια και αλεξίπτωτα. Το μόνο ντους στα δωμάτια είναι ιδιωτικό, εξωτερικό ντους... και βρήκαμε μερικά σακάτα και μικρά σαύρα στο δωμάτιό μας... αλλά αυτό θα συμβεί με μεγάλες γυάλινες πόρτες και ντους. Θα μπορούσαμε να βρούμε μια ισχυρή, άρρωστη μυρωδιά ενώ θα ήταν στην εξωτερική/παράλτιο - αλλά σημειώσαμε ότι αυτό συνέβη σε άλλα μέρη του νησιού. " πισίνα ήταν κοινή, καθαρή, μεγάλη και βαθιά με ηλιακές ντουλάπες που ήταν διαθέσιμες, περικυκλωμένη από πολλά πράσινα δέντρα/ φυτά/κοκκίδες/λουλούδια. Είδαμε μερικά κερνούλια! Φαίνεται ότι υπάρχουν περισσότερες οικογένειες και μικρά παιδιά εδώ απ' ό,τι περιμέναμε. Κοντά σε πολλά εστιατόρια και παραλία στο δρόμο (30 δευτερόλεπτα περπάτημα), όμορφες ηλιοβασιλές. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι 1-3km μακριά από την αποβάθρα, τα καταστήματα, 7/11 και τα ATMs- οπότε πιθανότατα θα χρειαστείτε ταξί ή μίσθωση ποδηλάτων. Το ενσωματωμένο πρωινό ήταν εντάξει- όχι στην προτίμησή μας. Γενικά μια ωραία διαμονή, αλλά διαφορετική από ό,τι περιμέναμε."
