Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and bright, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. The front desk even thoughtfully gave us a welcome gift, which was a really nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located for dining and shopping, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which is super convenient for families with children. The infinity pool's water was incredibly clean too.

The location was superb, with supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation hubs nearby, making it incredibly convenient for dining and sightseeing. The area is well-developed and convenient. Overall, it was comfortable and hassle-free. I've already added it to my favorites and will definitely come back next time!

Good location near shuangqiao night market. The reception is very helpful and friendly and always reply my request before my arrival. Room is clean. At level 2 has a very cozy and nice ambience area for you to chill and relax. We rest there till our flight time. At level 5 has a small garden. About 400m to the metro and also the bus stop in front which u can take the bus no.118 to the Kunming old street. Surrounding area has lots of food to eat. There is a water dispenser at the reception.

The room was really spacious, and I loved that the toilet, shower, and sink were all separate – very convenient. There was even a Tmall Genie smart speaker to control the curtains and TV. Everything was clean and tidy. The location was great too, right above a night market. Because of the night market, there's some traffic control in the evenings, so if you call a taxi, you'll have to walk a short distance to meet it, but it's not too far. The hotel also has a laundry room with washers and dryers. The front desk staff, security, and cleaning crew were all super friendly and always eager to help with any issues. I later found out one of them was the owner – big thanks to her for all her help!

Staying at the Howard Johnson Life Hotel Kunming was a great experience. The room was clean and quiet, and parking was convenient, making it ideal for self-driving travelers. The location is excellent, with smooth routes to the Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Market, Stone Forest, and Dounan Flower Market. I highly recommend it to visitors who love wild mushrooms and are looking for authentic Yunnan cuisine. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making self-driving and finding food a breeze!

It rained for three days in Kunming, and the socks were free in this hotel! The washing machine dryer is stronger than my home. I can wear it in the morning after washing at night. The big sister at the breakfast rice noodles window saw me with a bowl tangled, and directly adjusted me to a local food method. The big window in the room was facing a green shade, and the window was closed as quiet as in the library. The little girl at the front desk smiled every time she passed by. She asked for directions and drew a hand-painted map directly for me. The handwriting was scrawled but super useful. The takeaway robot would take the elevator by itself and bump into it several times in the corridor, always thinking it was better than I would recognize the way. The bedding is the kind of softness that you don't want to move when you lie down. I stayed for three nights. Every day I came back to the towel and folded it neatly. I also threw the charging cable on the table into a small circle, and the details were controlled with ecstasy. Oh, by the way, the freshly ground coffee in the lobby is also very fragrant. I squatted with a paper cup next to the revolving door to watch the rain for half an hour. This is probably the relaxation of travel. Next time I come to Kunming, I will stay here. After all, even people like me can be taken care of properly. There are really not many places. ～

It's a large hotel with several buildings, so you might want to inquire beforehand which building your room is in, especially if you have large luggage, to avoid walking far. The breakfast selection is quite varied, and the room amenities are fairly complete, including a hairdryer and slippers. The tall, thin, bespectacled male night shift staff member we met was incredibly kind. Our suitcase broke, so he took us to a nearby shop to buy a replacement and even walked us back – amazing! The female night shift staff were also very kind. We forgot our key card in the room, preventing us from opening it, and she registered a new key card for us.

The light wood decor combined with warm lighting creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Plus, the double-layer curtains block out light perfectly. 3. **Flawless Bathroom Details**: The bathroom, with its dry/wet separation, is spotless. The smart toilet and separate shower are incredibly comfortable to use, and even the towels were neatly folded. 4. **Attentive Service**: The staff were warm and welcoming without being intrusive; their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail, making for a truly relaxing stay. This hotel genuinely doubled the enjoyment of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming!
