No. 2 of Cultural Hotels in Kunming"I love the traditional decoration of the hotel, it transports you back to the ancient time. However, the car cannot go in, you have to push your luggage into the street where the hotel is located. It's very near to the big malls and walking distance to the old town. Hotel was very nice to pack our breakfast for us because we have a train to catch early in the morning and the restaurant is not open yet."

"This was my first time staying at a hostel from this chain, the one near Kunming's Zhuanxin Farmers Market, and I remember it had a beautiful bougainvillea bush!
I chose Qincheng Hostel again, this time picking this specific branch because it's super close to Cuihu Lake, Wenlin Street, and Yunnan University. Their restaurant offers a great variety of food and drinks, and I particularly love their curry beef rice. There are activities every day, and especially on Saturday nights, they have a concert. The singer's voice is unique and beautiful, and listening to music in their cozy bar is just the most comfortable experience. 'Hei Mu Ya' (Blackwood Cliff) is their elevated platform, nestled among huge eucalyptus trees. It's really peaceful on rainy days and nice and cool when it's hot."

"This hotel is right by Nanping Street, just a few minutes' walk from the subway. It's perfectly located for checking out Jinma Biji Archway and Kunming Old Street along the way, with plenty of malls and local eateries nearby, so you don't have to go far for shopping or food. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was just right – not too hard, not too soft. The private bathroom with separate wet and dry areas was a thoughtful touch. Amenities are comprehensive: there's a 24-hour self-service laundry room, so you can wash dirty clothes anytime after an outing. The front desk staff are always on duty, ready to help with luggage storage, directions, or anything you need, and they're genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions. It's a great fit for business trips, tourism, or family travel – a comfortable base right in the city center."

No. 1 of Cultural Hotels in Kunming"The hotel located near tourist attractions, making it easy to go on foot. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since we can't speak Chinese, they contacted us with a translation app. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. I suggest everyone to try crossing-the-bridge noodle. They also offer tea in the afternoon and desserts in the evening. Along the way from the hotel to Kunming old street you can see local lives. We saw groups playing chess right in front of the hotel, giving a vintage atmosphere. The only thing i'd like the hotel to improve is that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kunming. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring the area. There are night markets, shopping malls, restaurants, and metro stations all within walking distance, which made getting around extremely easy.
The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Our room was spacious, modern, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. The facilities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable.
We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Combining a prime location, modern amenities, and spotless cleanliness, this hotel offers great value for anyone visiting Kunming.
Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"Five stars all the way!
The hotel is right next to the airport, in a quiet and peaceful environment. The service is impeccable; everyone was polite from check-in to check-out, and they were always there for any issues. The rooms were incredibly clean—the floors, bathroom, and bedding were spotless, and all the facilities were brand new.
The most delightful surprise was the airport shuttle service. They always picked us up on time, no matter how early or late, so we didn't have to worry about taking a taxi. The room even had a smart speaker; you could control the curtains and lights just by speaking from bed—a lazy person's dream! The gym downstairs was fully equipped, so we could get some light exercise while traveling. Overall, a perfect experience, and the top choice for connecting flights!"

You can easily walk to Kunming Old Street, the Yunnan Military Academy, and the former site of the National Southwestern Associated University. It's a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I especially want to highlight the breakfast – it was incredibly rich and diverse, a perfect blend of Western and Chinese dishes. They even provided complimentary welcome fruit!"
