The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, and it was very quiet during my stay. The front desk service was also very responsive. Overall, it was great. It's very close to Kunming Station, less than 600 meters on foot, taking about 6-8 minutes. There are many shops nearby: downstairs, there's a convenience store, a pharmacy, and many restaurants. The restaurants across the street are open until late at night. Nearby, there's the Haoyue Tiandi shopping mall, about a ten-minute walk away, which has Hema Fresh, Decathlon, tea houses, various mobile phone and computer brands, DJI, audio brands, and gaming stores. I personally really liked it, and it will be my top choice next time I stay near Kunming Station.

The property is about 10 mins walk from the railway station. Very clean and new property. The front desk is absolutely amazing. They gave us free goodies when we checked in. There are many places to eat nearby. Most of the attractions are very close by. The breakfast was a good mix of vegetarian and non veg options. They had a coffee machine at the front desk which helped with morning coffee fix. There were many stalls selling fresh fruits 100m from the hotel. We stayed at 14th floor the room was nice and spacious. Since we wanted to eat halal they guided us towards the shunchung mosque area which had many many halal food options. I would definitely recommend this

I stayed at the Qianhong Hotel Kunming Railway Station for a layover, booking a compact yet elegant room, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone catching a train. First, let's talk about the location and general environment. The hotel is located on a high floor in Xinduyun City, just a few minutes' walk from Kunming Station, which is incredibly convenient whether you're catching an early train or arriving late at night. Around the building, there are plenty of convenience stores and various Yunnanese snack shops, making dining and shopping very easy. The guest rooms are on higher floors, and the soundproofing is excellent; I barely heard any noise from the street below or the hallway. Although it's a smaller room type, the layout is neat and didn't feel cramped or oppressive. The overall decor is simple and refreshing, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a short stopover. I couldn't find a single fault with the cleanliness; the housekeeping was exceptionally thorough. The floor was dust-free upon entering, and the desk and windowsill were wiped spotless. The bedding was pristine white and soft, with no stains or odors, and the 'one guest, one change' policy was reassuring. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, with no water stains or grime on the sink or shower area. The toilet, corners, and crevices were all cleaned properly, toiletries were neatly arranged, and the air was fresh without any unpleasant smells. The room facilities were complete and brand new, featuring smart room controls, a large high-definition projector, a stable air conditioner, and smooth Wi-Fi, perfect for streaming or working without lag. The mattress was medium-firm, paired with soft pillows, allowing for a good rest after a long day of travel. A kettle, disposable slippers, and storage space were all provided – a small room with everything you need. All daily essentials were covered. The front desk staff were gentle and attentive. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions with a friendly attitude. The overall value for money is exceptional; the environment, cleanliness, facilities, and service are all top-notch. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next layover in Kunming and highly recommend it to all travelers.

The separate wet/dry bathroom was impeccably clean, the Wi-Fi speed was excellent, and the service was polite and attentive. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is super convenient whether you're traveling for leisure or business.

The hotel's location is very easy to find, and we arrived directly using GPS. The parking area at the entrance is spacious, making it convenient to come and go. The room has great natural lighting and is very bright during the day. The furniture is well-maintained with no damage, the bathroom has a steady water supply, and the entire check-in process was smooth. It was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent! The hotel is newly renovated with no unpleasant smells, and everything is very clean. I love the style, and the bathroom is large with a well-designed wet and dry separation. They have many family rooms with large beds; I especially appreciate that their twin rooms come with both 1.5-meter and 1.8-meter beds. This is perfect for families of three or four. This time, three families traveled together, and we easily booked several rooms, so we didn't have to stay in separate hotels. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. If I'm ever in Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here. One suggestion: for summer, please provide thinner summer quilts. I really don't like using thick duvets with the air conditioning on when it's hot. Also, the hotel provides a Laifen hairdryer, which ladies will surely appreciate – it's powerful and quiet. I rarely review hotels I book online, but I always make an exception for exceptionally bad or exceptionally good ones. Hope this helps everyone!

I can only leave an excellent review for this place. We are an Italian couple who stayed here for one night. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The owner is an exceptionally welcoming and kind person. Having arrived at the station at 6 in the morning, she offered us another room to rest in since ours wasn't ready yet, and check-in wasn't until 2:00 PM—thank you again so much for this gesture. Inside the room, you'll also find a hair dryer, a kettle, mugs, air conditioning, a projector, and even a bathroom heater. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel with a unique fragrance. We also had the chance to meet the cleaning lady, who was equally lovely and all smiles. Plus, there is a brand-new, highly efficient washing machine. I really wanted to write this review because, after reading the previous ones, I saw a totally unfounded and maliciously negative review left by a girl and her friend. This brand-new place deserves to be visited and to have a high rating. Thank you again for the hospitality, I hope to be back soon!

The hotel has a very stylish interior. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The 6th-floor rooftop pool is definitely the highlight, and luckily my room was on the same floor—great vibes and very kid-friendly. The gym and laundry room on the 7th floor were also very clean. The location is convenient, close to both the train station and the subway, making it easy to get around. The service was attentive, breakfast was good, and it offers great value for money. Overall, highly recommended!

We stayed 2 days in Kunming before we proceed our trip Dali and we were very happy and satisfied with our right choice at Freshhomestay with the services provided and it really worth more than the money paid. We contacted the homestay before arrival for location information, the owner/staff WeChat us the location details and answered all our inquiries. The homestay upgraded our room with great Kunming City view. The room seemed newly renovated and clean. There are variety food at surrounding area.
