Facilities: A bit old, but generally pretty good. The bed is neither too soft nor too hard. The duvet is fine with the AC on, but it can get a bit warm without it, given Kunming's large temperature variations. There's a small garden and an outdoor hot tub, but apparently it's not usable. It's very photogenic though! The living room and bedroom are separate, which is great for families or multiple families staying together as you can chat comfortably. There are also seating areas in the room corridors where you can relax and talk. Being inside the scenic area, the courtyard rooms are quiet. Other room types might be a bit noisier. At midday, it can feel quite bustling outside with traffic and vendors calling out. The courtyard suites, however, are not noisy at all. The location is in the Jinbi area, not far from Nanping Old Street. Just cross a road and walk through Nanping Hui, and you're in a commercial area. For food and drinks, there are snacks right downstairs, though not many main courses. I think the options across the street are better. The hotel breakfast is à la carte and needs to be ordered a day in advance. We tried it one day, but after that, we opted for takeout or ate out. The hotel service is quite good. They have a butler service, and the staff's attitude is very pleasant. When we had a delay, they helped us coordinate a later checkout. For transport, since it's within the scenic area, you'll probably need to walk a bit after getting off the car. However, you can also have your car drive to the parking lot, and there's an elevator near the exit that takes you up.

The hotel receptionists, as well as the owner and his wife, are all incredibly friendly and welcoming Sichuanese people. The facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing, which is very effective. The room itself is spacious and well-appointed, featuring a full smart home system. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing two pillows—one high and one low—allowing guests to choose their preference. This attention to detail, combined with its proximity to the train station, makes it a top choice.

Choosing Atour for my Kunming trip was definitely the right call! The location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the city center, and just 50 meters downstairs is the 900-year-old Kunming Old Street. Nanping Street, Nanqiang Night Market, and Shuncheng Shopping Mall are all within walking distance. You can easily grab all sorts of local Yunnan snacks and flower souvenirs, and the whole area just buzzes with life. It's only 200 meters from Wuyi Road subway station, and a few minutes by taxi to places like Cuihu Lake and the Military Academy, making travel to and from the train station and airport super convenient. Tourists really don't have to worry about getting around at all. What surprised me most was how peaceful it was despite being in a bustling area. Downstairs, the commercial district is lively, but once you close your room door, the soundproofing is excellent, and you won't be disturbed at all when sleeping at night. The room hygiene was impeccable. There's a fresh air system throughout the room, a wet/dry separated bathroom, and standard 'naked cotton' bedding and Deep Sleep Pro pillows – after a long day of traveling, lying down was incredibly relaxing. The 65-inch screen-mirroring TV, mini-fridge, and smart toilet were all fully equipped. The natural light was great, and the space felt spacious and not at all cramped. The breakfast buffet was truly impressive. They had all sorts of Yunnan specialties like freshly made rice noodles, tofu pudding, soy milk, and Ersi (rice noodles), with a rich variety of dishes. Plus, they even let you pack food to go if you're in a hurry. The hotel also offers complimentary self-service laundry facilities with an iron, a small gym, and free parking for those driving. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful. Check-in was fast, and they proactively offered flower cakes and hot tea. They were also very patient and accommodating with requests like luggage delivery and late check-out. The attention to detail made me feel really at home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

The hotel is conveniently located at 南屏街 (Nanping street), making it incredibly accessible to restaurants (many halal options too), shopping malls and night markets. Overall, it is relatively clean and stocked with all the required amenities. The laundry room comes with a dryer. It is a little small, so I wouldn’t recommend it for long stays, but it is a great option for short stays in Kunming. Would recommend!

The room was okay, but after they cleaned in the morning, I'm not sure what they used to mop the floor, the smell really bothered my allergies, I couldn't stand it. The room was quite large, but the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear people turning on lights next door, and even the smell of cooking from next door wafted into the room. Sunday was fine, but after Sunday, there's a school below that gets incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. In the mornings, around 7-8 AM, there are vendors downstairs selling fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and the prices are quite cheap.

Our stay with the kids was fantastic! The room was spacious and not cramped at all, and the cleanliness was impeccable with no strange odors. The location is superb, with short taxi rides to and from the high-speed rail station and airport, making travel hassle-free. The staff were gentle and attentive, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, it was a warm and comfortable experience, perfect for a short family stay.

It is my first trip to Kunming and I stayed at Four Points Sheraton City Centre. Upon reaching, i was greeted warmly by Grace, and she gave me and my friend our 2 rooms at the same level, this goes to show the detail and care she put into serving the customers. She also arranged fruits to our room. I have nothing but praises for her. Our room is clean and spacious, the amenities were really good and well thought out, we fell in love with the hotel. Location wise, is close to Kunming old street and a modern shopping complex with many shops and eateries. There are many food stores right below the hotel. I met their bell boy Jasper Shen in the lift, he is so humble, polite, helpful and a real fine gentleman who pressed the lifts for me and helped me carry my luggages to my car. It was a joy to see him everyday too.

As a frequent business traveler, I have high standards for accommodation and dining. I was surprised to find a hotel in downtown Kunming that perfectly met my needs and even exceeded my expectations. I booked a duplex business room. First, the accommodation: the room's decor rivals that of the All Seasons Hotel, the shower has a strong water pressure, it has a smart toilet, the pillows and bedding are very comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. Crucially, it's only been open for less than a month, and there was no formaldehyde smell in the room – I was very satisfied. Second, the dining: nearby is the well-known Kunming restaurant Fuzhaolou (perfect for business banquets), as well as popular snack streets like Nanqiang Street, Nanping Pedestrian Street, the department store, Jingxing Flower and Bird Market, and Zhengyi Square – lots of food and shopping options, plus the great temperature. Next time, the whole family will definitely enjoy it!

Stayed here for a week. The location of the hotel is convenient and perfect for those who want to spend a few days enjoying the bars, cafes, and shopping areas of Old Town. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean, and tidy with all the amenities one can expect. Perfect for both solo travellers and groups or families. I would definitely recommend the place, and when I visit Kunming again this will be my go to hotel to stay at once more

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a huge thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt that meticulous care. The bedding in the room was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very thoughtfully designed. Add to that the staff's professional and prompt service, and it made this trip exceptionally relaxed and comfortable. It's definitely the top choice for both business trips and leisure getaways.
