The room is quite spacious, and the hotel is very new. Ventilation isn't great, and the bathroom and shower are lacking some basic shelves and hooks, which is inconvenient. The mattress is comfortable, but the pillows are not good. The location is pretty good, making it easy to get to Kunbo and Guandu Ancient Town by taxi. Plus, there's Haile World for shopping and entertainment.

The location is super convenient, really close to Changhong West Road Metro Station Exit D. Plus, there are tons of food options right downstairs. The front desk staff were very attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the smart features were a great touch.

Honestly, this hotel's rating is definitely underestimated. It's a traditional, established five-star hotel. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was very spacious. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are all high-quality. The hotel also has a large parking lot and lobby, and the breakfast area is huge with a wide variety of options. I've stayed at Century Golden Resources in Chongqing, which is a renowned hotel there. I'm not sure why it seems to be perceived as lesser in Kunming; it's severely underrated. They offer free umbrella rentals, and there's a huge shopping mall nearby, making everything very convenient. The best part is that the prices didn't even go up during the May Day holiday, which is incredibly fair. The only drawback is that they are currently undergoing renovations, so it's a bit noisy during the day. However, we were out exploring during the day, so we mostly avoided the noise. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The Serta mattress was a nice touch. They also have 24-hour self-service laundry and a branded gym. It's a great place for kids indoors: the hotel connects directly to the huge Hailes World mall, so you don't need to go outside on rainy or super sunny days. The mall has arcades, kids' play areas, and restaurants, so you can eat, stay, and play all without leaving the complex. We had a comfortable stay, and they even gave our child a bunch of small gifts at checkout, which made them super happy!

The room rate was reasonable, and the room itself was spacious, modern, and equipped with smart controls for curtains, lighting, and air conditioning. It was clean, well-arranged, and the bedding was comfortable. I stayed for two consecutive nights. However, there were a few issues. The bathroom had no place to hang or put clothes, lacking hooks or shelves, which was quite inconvenient. The hairdryer was excessively loud and piercing; I didn't dare use it for fear of disturbing neighboring guests and it definitely needs to be replaced. Also, disposable toilet seat covers were not provided, though luckily, I had brought my own. Finally, I found items left by the previous guest in the room and had to call the front desk to have them removed. Overall, it's quite good, and with a few improvements, it would be excellent.

If you're looking for a friendly budget stay and right smack in the middle of kunming, highly recommend u consider here. Its got everything you need and a high rise view. Even has chagee right downstairs for you chagee lovers:)

The location of hotel is a little out of the way though there is a hugh shopping centre less than 2km walk. Reception staff are friendly and even the cleaner is helpful. Overall it is a quiet hotel if you want to rest. The breakfast selection is quite good and moderate. There are coffee and drinks dispensers in the lobby which you can enjoy without limit especially when you are waiting for your laundry to wash and dry.
