"This is the third hotel I've stayed at in the Lake District. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially with the surroundings. The decor isn't luxurious, and the lobby and restaurant are relatively simple. However, the hotel faces Lake Grasmrer, offering beautiful views and a quiet, secluded feel. I booked a lake-view room, but a large tree blocked the window, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel restaurant is a bit on the high side, offering a slightly lower value than the other two restaurants I've stayed at."

"Χρησιμοποιήσαμε τα εστιατόρια καθώς θέλαμε να δούμε το τζάκι του Γκρίσντεϊλ και χρειαζόμασταν ένα δωμάτιο για να μείνουμε μετά την θέα. Τα δωμάτια ήταν καθαρά και έβλεπε μια περιοχή με πολλά πρόβατα. Το δωμάτιο είχε μια αισθητική θέα και είχαμε και τσάντες τσάι. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και υπέροχο. Τα δωμάτια είχαν την βρετανική γοητεία που βλέπεις σε παλιές αγγλικές ταινίες. Αν αγαπάτε τα πρόβατα, τους καλούς ανθρώπους, τα καλά τρόφιμα και την Βρετανική αισθητική του '80 τότε αυτό το μέρος είναι για σας."

"This hotel is a gem although it has only 10 rooms. The host John is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable although it's not very big. The choice of breakfast spread are many and I like most is their homemade blueberry pancakes. Portion is very generous and we skipped lunch during our 2 nights stay there. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful, comfy, cosy, thoughtful. Not the cheapest place, but we'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately we missed the feeding of the badgers on the veranda at sunset - next time we'll try and arrive in time for this. The pub connected to the place has pretty good beer, too."
