"The room was adequate, but the shower water wasn't hot at night, so I took a cold shower and it took me ages to recover. Then, when I was checking out the next day, the water was hot again. The hotel has a bar and restaurants; the view from the restaurant is fantastic, and it's definitely worth taking a walk along the lake if it's not raining. There's also a swimming pool."

"The hotel is very nice. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was good. However, our stay was pretty terrible I’m afraid and even raising our issues with reception on checking out was met with very little in the way of an apology. I booked the hotel for a one night stop-off stay on the way back from the south of France. It was booked in January 2023 for a July stay . Over the course of that 5 months period, I never received any emails from the hotel to suggest anything unusual would be happening on the night of our stay. Even on the day of checking in nothing was mentioned to us. However, when we came down for dinner at 7:45 pm we met in reception and told that we could not be in our room between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm that evening because of a firework display. When we questioned this, we were told there was a health and safety issue and that the fireworks meant that we would have to vacate the hotel completely for that hour and we would only be let back in when it had finished. The hotel had five months in which to communicate this information to it before our stay and had they done so I would’ve cancelled the room immediately without any concerns. To drop this information on us at 7.45pm when we had no alternative accommodation is simply unacceptable. We went out for dinner and went back to our room at about 9 pm as we were very tired. At 10:30 pm we had a knock on the door and a couple of moments later the phone rang endlessly until we woke up and we were told we had to leave the room. We said we were not going to get dressed and leave the room as we had a 600km drive the following day. On that, we were told that we were not allowed to open the curtains and must not put the light on so we did not spoil the fireworks display. The fireworks eventually finished at 11:40 pm and then loud music started directly outside the hotel and carried on until almost 3am"

Την επόμενη φορά θα ζητήσουμε ένα μεγαλύτερο δωμάτιο στο έδαφος ή πρώτα... το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ χρήσιμο και υπήρχαν πολλοί από αυτούς... το πρωινό ήταν καλό, αλλά πολύ βασικό σε αυτό που προσφέρθηκε. Δεν υπάρχει ζεστό μπουφέ, αλλά θα μαγειρεύουν αυγά όπως θέλετε."

"This is an unusual place to stay as it is a classic castle with a large stone spiral staircase. You should request a lower room if you have any difficulty with stairs but you cannot avoid them altogether. There is air-conditioning in the dark entrance hall but not in the bedrooms. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with fashionable decor and a bright ambiance. It was well, uniquely and expensively furnished. There are a number of communal rooms, all very interesting as well as a dining room and terrace. Breakfasts were excellent. There is also an outside pool with great views across the lake. Overall a good place for a stopover or short stay."

Κολυμπήσαμε στην πισίνα και απολαύσαμε σαμπάνια, μετά ένα ευχάριστο δείπνο με κρασί και μια μεγάλη συζήτηση. Καθόμασταν σε ένα καλά καθορισμένο δωμάτιο και φύγαμε το επόμενο πρωί μετά ένα υπέροχο πρωινό. Ο Σεργκέ ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμος και πληροφορημένος χωρίς να εισβάλει. Η περιοδεία στο κελί ήταν ευχάριστη... και οι ανακαινίσεις του τα τελευταία χρόνια δείχνουν την αγάπη του."

"It is located in a quiet mountain village, but because it is in the mountains, the road is very rugged and narrow. The address is also difficult to find, there is a small road sign in the village, we are lost at the beginning. No one answered the phone at the front desk, and finally asked the road to find the entrance to this hotel. The hotel was once the residence of the priest, the lobby was quite distinctive, the room was spacious and the view was beautiful. But the heating was very small. After we asked to turn the heating on, they raised it by a degree Celsius, but it was still very cold. The hotel restaurant does not provide meals on Mondays (except for breakfast), we had to go out for dinner on a cold day after opening a day. Although this is common in France (where restaurants are closed a day or two a week), if marked on the website, consumers will have a choice, at least in advance or choose another hotel. The second day of our stay was New Year's Eve, and the hotel's restaurant was fully booked, resulting in us not being able to dine in the hotel restaurant we stayed in. Although the hotel manager claimed to have tried to call me, I did never answer his call. The hotel's restaurant should have given priority to serving guests in the hotel. This is one of the reasons why consumers book hotels. Now the hotel is open to the public for the turnover of its own restaurant, resulting in guests staying at the hotel unable to eat. Although the hotel manager finally helped to order meals from outside the hotel, we ended up using takeaway dinner in our room, but this is completely different from the feeling of dining in the restaurant. When checking out, the front desk repeatedly miscalculated the account, either by counting more money or missing a bottle of wine. Still under my reminder, she made up. Hotel catering prices are pre-tax prices. Must admit that the hotel manager and lobby lady are still very polite, which is commendable. But if I am the manager, I will send at least one A dessert or a head dish to appease the loss of guests unable to eat at the hotel, but unfortunately he did not do so, which is a bit disappointing."
