Seriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

I stayed 3 nights, ate every dinner there and would absolutely come again! I was super lucky to get an upgrade on arrival (see photo of the view from my balcony 7am in the morning) I‘d read that staying 3 nights was too long, but for me it was perfect. I did the dazhai to ping‘an hike one day and took the gondola up the next day. On my last morning they even drove me down to the parking lot to get on the right bus. Super sweet! Only minor issue: my room was a non-smoker room and it really did not smell of smoke at all unless I tried to use the aircon. Somehow the air coming out of the aircon smelled of smoke. For me that wasn‘t a huge issue as I decided not to use the aircon & was fine.

Our stay at Yundu Panjing Mountain House was absolutely incredible 🤍 The place is stunning, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces, truly a magical setting where you feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. The hospitality was exceptional. The team took such great care of us throughout our stay. They even helped us buy local rice directly from villagers and surprised us with lovely farewell gifts. Their kindness and attention to detail really made the experience special 🥹 The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the village. Waking up here surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views is unforgettable. And of course, a special shoutout to Bobo, the hotel’s mascot 🐶 the sweetest and friendliest dog, who made our stay even warmer and more enjoyable! Huge thanks to the whole team, this is a place and a memory we will cherish forever. If you’re coming to Longji, you must stay here ❤️

The hotel is located just beside the terraced rice field. Can walk up to the Jingfo Ding by foot to see the beautiful sunset. And at the hotel room balcony can see the sunrise. It's just a bit unlucky for me to stay during the rainy day. Anyway , thank you the hotel boss for giving me the surprise gift and providing the goid breakfast. The longji tea leaves are good to taste.

This hotel is at a an absolutely stunning spot! Our room on the 5th floor offered a splendid view over the Longji rice terraces (Dazhai, Tianthouzhai), very close to scenic spot No. 1). If you like to hike, it‘s also a good location. We walked down on a beautiful path to Dazhai and from there up to the Golden Buddha Peak, which is at the upper station of the cable car. For going down to the Dazhai Parking Lot we took this cable car, a 20 minutes ride (55 RMB one way, April 2026). To get back to the hotel you can take the tourist scenic bus and walk the last 5 minutes up to the hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel! It is perfectly clean and we very much liked the washing machine in our room. The staff is very friendly. A small regret: We would have appreciated if there would have been more effort to communicate pro-actively, for example by using a translation app. Some advice to the different hiking paths and/or a map would have been helpful. But some Information can also be found on the internet.

Generally ok, but we were there just before the season and this could be seen. The rooms was nice and spacious with comfortable bed. The common areas could use some cleaning though. The pool was being prepared for the season during our stay. There are also building some parking space in front of the hotel, which interfers with the nice view. The location is perfect, a few minutes walking to the viewing platform one. The staf were helpful, booked a bus to Guilin for us and dropped us to the bus station.

We had a wonderful stay here with our baby. The view from the room was amazing, the bathtub was pleasant to have. The host was very nice, he drove us to the cable car station and got he bus station for free. Great to see how this rural area develops.

在這個依山傍水的地方，我度過了幾日真正放鬆的時光。民宿的整體風格深得我心，每一處細節都透着樸拙與巧思，與周圍的自然環境渾然一體。推窗即是連綿的青山蜿蜒的田野，視野開闊，滿眼皆是治癒的綠色。 在這裏，時間彷彿都慢了下來，什麼都不用想，衹需靜靜地坐着發呆，看山看水，聽風聽雨，便是最好的放空。屋內的佈置温馨又舒適，床品柔軟得恰到好處，讓疲憊的身心得到了徹底的安放。一個還會再來的地方。

The room was very clean and tidy. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the scenic area. You can even see beautiful views from the hotel restaurant corridor! The owner is incredibly kind. When I arrived by car at Dazhai, the owner personally came to pick me up, and when I left, he saw me off. Since I was traveling alone, the owner invited me to eat with him and the staff, which was very touching and thoughtful. Choosing this guesthouse for visiting the Longji Rice Terraces is definitely the right decision!

Location: The hotel is situated in Jinfoding, one of the highest areas, very close to Observation Deck No. 3. My dad and I went to watch the sunrise early in the morning, and it only took a few minutes to get there. Rooms: We were traveling with family, including children and seniors, so we booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, which perfectly met our needs and made it easy to care for everyone. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and featured floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the terraced fields – the scenery was excellent. There was even an automatic mahjong table in the room, haha. Public Areas: The hotel has a new Chinese-style design, which is very tasteful. The first floor houses the restaurant and lobby, and the outdoor viewing platform is quite unique. Service: The owner was warm and hospitable. They contacted us multiple times via WeChat in advance to arrange pick-up and drop-off. Since it was the National Day holiday, there were many tourists going up the mountain. We drove ourselves and parked at the Dazhai car park, and the owner came down to pick us up. It was already quite late, so we pre-ordered our food on the way, and it was ready to eat as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The ingredients were excellent, and I particularly recommend the scrambled eggs – my child absolutely loved them. The owner also gave us some homemade rice wine. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and they took great care of our family, especially the children and seniors. Many thanks. Overall: Five-star review. Wishing the owner a prosperous business!
