Track and Trail River Camp

"Nous avons passé 6 nuits à Track and trail. Grâce à Peter et Andrew nous avons vécu des game drive d’exception, comme il y a 9 ans déjà avec eux grâce à leur grande connaissance du parc. Le personnel est sympathique, la propreté irréprochable et la restauration de grande qualité. Chichi est une hôtesse souriante et bienveillante. Ajoutons que le camp est situé à 5 minutes à peine de l’entrée du parc dans lequel on peut entrer les premiers. Peter est enfin un excellent photographe qui sait trouver l’exacte position du véhicule (très bien équipé pour les photographes) pour capter la meilleure lumière. Bref c’est une adresse incontournable pour visiter South Luangwa. We spent six nights at Track and Trail. Thanks to Peter and Andrew, we experienced exceptional game drives, just like we did nine years ago with them, thanks to their extensive knowledge of the park. The staff is friendly, the cleanliness impeccable, and the food excellent. Chichi is a smiling and welcoming hostess. The camp is also conveniently located just five minutes from the park entrance, allowing you to be among the first to enter. Peter is also an excellent photographer who knows exactly where to position the vehicle (which is very well-equipped for photographers) to capture the best light. In short, it's a must-stay for anyone visiting South Luangwa."

Flatdogs Camp

"Flatdogs without fail has been the most memorable Holiday we have ever experienced. It exceeded all of our expectations and we honestly loved every second of it. From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends. Every staff member was so friendly, so kind and so attentive. End always with a smile. Our safari tent was comfortable, immaculately clean and spacious and overlooked the river. Listening to the sounds of hippos will stay with me forever. The restaurant was fabulous, great choices and great food and all in a beautiful setting. The wildlife viewing and guiding was just mind blowing. We were lucky enough to have 7 nights at Flatdogs and every drive was so memorable. We had the most amazing sightings and at times we hadn't even got down the drive out of Flatdogs to see something so exciting ( Leopard and 18 giraffe all 200m from reception!!! ). Thank you Thank You thank you Flatdogs team for giving me memories that will stay with me forever xxx"

Camp Sabali

"Had a memorable time relaxing in the capable hands at Camp Sabali. The Emerald season gives a completey different experience in Luangwa as the rains transform the landscape into a verdant panorama. Camp Sabali is a beautiful set of six boutique tents set just a few metres from the Luangwa River. Super comfortable and magical space to listen to the hippos sing or have elephants wander through camp. It's a wonderful set-up - owned and run by the affable, and passionate Leon. His knowledge of bird species and the local flora and fauna is incredibly enlightening. The onsite Sabali team of Elvis and Rhoda deliver a happy, attentive and personal service while Mary cooks up delicious and well presented dishes. High tea, elevenses, and sundowners along the river banks - totally immersive stuff from Camp Sabali. Daily game drives were with our knowledgeable and fun guide Issac. He was full of information, not only about the larger species that draw most visitors, but also about the geographical shaping of the park, numerous birds, plants, river courses, and interaction between the animals. He'll teach you to listen for the alarm calls and watching the sky for scavengers. Thank you Leon (Seb & Ash) for an unforgettable stay at the excellent Camp Sabali. Mopani Safari Lodge

"Το σαλόνι βρίσκεται σε μια υψηλή τοποθεσία, μόνο το ποτάμι το χωρίζει από το πάρκο. Τα δωμάτια είναι πολύ καθαρά και η οικιακή διοίκηση είναι πολύ καλή. Τα τρόφιμα θα μπορούσαν να είναι καλύτερα, με περιορισμένες επιλογές, και χωρίς αλκοόλ στις εγκαταστάσεις. Υπηρεσίες είναι πολύ ευγενικές και αφοσιωμένες. Τα δωμάτια έχουν απίστευτες προοπτικές για την άγρια ζωή."

Shawa Luangwa Camp

"This is a lovely boutique camp in an amazing location. The rooms overlook the river where you can see plenty of wildlife throughout the day. The elephants came right up to our balcony! The food was great and the staff went well beyond to look after us. Our safari guide Jack Sparrow was knowledgeable and great fun, we really enjoyed our trips out. Highly recommend, would definitely go back."
