"It was an incredible experience to stay in such a cute fairy-tale-like house for about 40,000 yen per room for my family! It makes me feel like I've bought a house in France. The garden is beautiful, and there are plenty of amenities (soap, coffee, tea, hair dryer, towels, etc.). The staff was also kind, and it was a very comfortable stay. The only disappointment was that the signal was too weak and I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. However, the staff made their best effort to connect to the free signal, and since I have an eSIM, it wasn't a big problem. The problem was my father. In the first place, I wonder why he had to bring work with him on a trip, and he was frustrated that he couldn't use his PC and work, even though there are plenty of ways to do it, such as tethering. So, if you are staying, please come after finishing your work. If you do that, you will have a really wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to have the elegant experience of having breakfast on a nice terrace. But it was a wonderful inn that I would like to come back again just for that experience! Given the location of the town, it's not an easy place to travel to, but I think Japanese people especially love this place. It has an atmosphere and scenery that you definitely won't find in Japan... I can understand why people from overseas want to stay in a traditional Japanese house. I'm half wanting everyone to know about it, and half wanting to keep it a secret forever. There are plenty of beds, and the toilet and shower room are separate!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored chateau. Our room was large and well appointed. The bathroom has been updated with modern fixtures while retaining a historic feel. The house and room is filled with tasteful antiques giving us a sense of what it may have felt like living in the past. The property is huge with its own lake, waterfall, horses and peacocks. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with perfectly scrambled eggs, ham, freshly baked bread and pastries, gourmet cheese, yogurt. sweet cuts of fruits, homemade jams and juice. The owners, Bernard and his partner, are great hosts. Bernard was so attentive, checking on our comfort and eager to please. It is obvious they take great pride in their home and happy to share it with guests. It was a unique and memorable experience for us."
