"We only stayed in Messina overnight and needed a clean and comfortable place prior catching the ferry to Reggio Calabria next morning. Vittoria House of Charme was better than we’d imagined. We were warmly greeted by our host who proudly showed us around. Slept soundly in one of the most comfortable beds of this trip! Breakfast served by the lovely Mary was great by Italian standards. It included boiled eggs, cheeses, good bread, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, pastries and excellent coffee (we don’t eat meat). Very grateful to have some savoury options. Mary kindly organised a taxi to the ferry for us after breakfast. Not much was open nearby on the Sunday night we were there. We were lucky to find somewhere to eat within a 15 minute walk."

"My reservation was for two people and they gave me a single room. I suggested they give me the double room that was on my reservation and they said we would be comfortable in it because the bed was big. TRUE. The bed was fine and we accepted it, but a hotel has to accept its mistake and, above all, treat its customers well. That offer to change rooms was missing, even though we would have accepted the one we had. Another thing is the facilities. They are old. Very dirty carpeted floor and other deficiencies that a hotel of this category should not have. The same thing happens with breakfast. Totally deficient. No hot food, no fruit and only water to drink. We could only choose between some sweets and some tubs of jam and butter I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone I hope that all this time I have dedicated helps them take note and customers receive better service."

"I had the pleasure of spending an unforgettable week at Le Dune Beach Club in June. I am originally from Messina and I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem so close to my hometown. The village is set in a breathtaking landscape, characterized by sand dunes and palm trees that create an exotic and relaxing atmosphere. The bungalows are charming and well-maintained, surrounded by English-style gardens that lead directly to the private beach. I thought I would spend a simple relaxing holiday but instead I was overwhelmed by the variety of engaging initiatives proposed by the entertainment team, always present but never intrusive. I was surprised by the exceptional level of the evening shows. The restaurant was excellent, I appreciated the variety and high quality of the food offered and the extraordinary attention and courtesy of the staff, in particular the very kind Veronica. The entire club staff was extremely competent and always ready to meet our every need. From the receptionists to the bar to the maintenance team, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. A special thanks to Serena, whose warmth and dedication truly made us feel at home. The combination of a beautiful location, excellent services, and friendly staff makes this village a perfect choice for people of all ages. I can’t wait to return!"
