"I just spent two nights at Fortuna Hotel. My room was small but clean and I had everything that I needed. The staff was so nice. They assisted me in every way..bringing me my laundry..bringing me the most delicious meals. I sad to have to leave!"

Premier Hotel Miskolc

"This is not a 4 star hotel! The reception is combined with the bar(?), apparently they have only 27 rooms. It seems that this is a conference center with guest rooms in a residential complex advertised a four star establishment... Pros: comfy bed, good water pressure and a garage if you need one (we didn't... Cons: mediocre breakfast, no phone in the room(!), and high-tech feature called "unique room access system.." The hotel had a power outage at night while we were there, and we could reach the front desk by making an international call on our non-Hungarian cellphones... no night-lights in the room, it was pitch-black, unable to use the batroom and absolutely no communication from staff. The electricity finally came back... I suggest to install "traditional" phones or at least have flashlights in the rooms. We had a strange experience and would not return."

Lignum Hotel

"Βασικά ήταν εντάξει. Το προσωπικό ήταν χρήσιμο και φιλικό. Το πρωινό έρχεται μόνο μέχρι τις 9 το πρωί, που είναι πολύ νωρίς για να το τελειώσουμε. Το ξενοδοχείο έχει ένα εστιατόριο, αλλά το φαγητό δεν είναι καλό, εκτός από την πίτσα που ήταν πολύ καλή. Η τοποθεσία είναι λίγο απομονωμένη, αλλά είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμη από το αυτοκίνητο. Κάποιοι υπάλληλοι δεν μιλούν πολύ Αγγλικά, αλλά οι νέοι είναι καλύτερες. Συνολικά όχι τόσο άσχημα και όχι πολύ ακριβά."

Öreg Miskolcz Hotel

"In the small city center (the city is really small), the surrounding area is relatively old (this city is all) Breakfast will ask you if you need fried eggs (first time in Europe these days) The key is the original kind and the room is poorly soundproofed."

Aquarius Apartments

"The staff are all very friendly, checkin was very simple and soon in the apartment. Spacious, strong WiFi connection, clean and the beds very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. We parked in the garage."

"The most horrible experience in Hungary ever. Hotel want to charge for uneatable food which has been returned. Staff don’t accept any complaints exhaling that another guests are happy. Manager even more sure customers have no rights to complain and have to pay if they did order. We have never ever experienced any kind of behavior like that."
