A beautiful setting, isolated and quiet, with a lovely pool area. We stayed in a suite that was very roomy, with a large double bedroom and a smaller single room upstairs. Downstairs had a small kitchen corner (which we didn't use other than the refrigerator) as well as a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. Sky TV with all the sports channels (in Italian, obviously) was a nice surprise and came in useful as we weren't lucky with the weather. There are no other restaurants within walking distance - it's a 15 minute drive into Modica - so we ate at the restaurant every night for a week. This was not a problem as everything we ate was DELICIOUS. Enough variation on the menu to eat something different every night if you wanted to, but the dishes we had early on were so good we had them all twice. The best pinsas I've ever tasted - a world away from 'pizza' in the UK. Very reasonable prices as well, including wine. We only spent one day by the pool (because of the weather!) but it looked as though there would be plenty of sunbeds available even if all the guests decided to visit. Most importantly, all the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which really made the stay as good as it could be.

What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. L'hotel si trova lungo la strada di collegamento tra Ragusa e Marina di Ragusa da cui dista circa 12 km. Per spostarsi, quindi, bisogna disporre necessariamente di un veicolo. La struttura è molto carina, con una grande piscina, la palestra, ristorante e bar. Dispone di ampi spazi, tra cui anche un anfiteatro per spettacoli ed un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito. Le camere sono spaziose con affaccio sulla piscina (la nostra) ed il letto comodissimo con topper. Tv 42” ed aria condizionata regolabile dagli ospiti. C'è anche un piccolo frigo con due bottigliette di acqua gratuite e, nel bagno, i soliti accessori. Veramente fantastico il buffet per la colazione soprattutto per chi (come noi) gradisce il dolce e la frutta la mattina. Abbiamo trovato, infatti, diverse specialità di dolci con crema ed alla mandorla e frutta di diversi generi. In conclusione, un ottimo soggiorno anche se solo per una notte ma ci sarebbe piaciuto poter rimanere per una settimana. Sconsigliato per chi non ha la macchina e viaggia con i mezzi pubblici.

We recently spent 10 days at Modica Palace Hotel. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff were wonderful. All were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. We booked a superior room which was quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we find ourselves in Modica. Notes: The shuttle is no longer available. You definitely need a car or you'll be booking taxis. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant didn't appear to be open for dinner or was only open for groups so we never tried to eat there. Some of the pool furniture was in need of repair or replacement. It is the end of the season.. All in all it was a very good experience.

Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura con la mia fidanzata in occasione di un matrimonio di amici. Struttura spaziosa e pulita, personale molto gentile (il signor Antonio in particolare), colazione super fornita e deliziosa, bagni puliti e letti comodi. Complimenti

During our tour to Sicilia, stayed in this Palazzo for two nights, and if you stand before the green gate, you wouldn't expect that there is another building with patio. We were very friendly received and also told about the history of the Palazzo. Very nice story, and it gives something extra. the palazzo is already 4 generations family property that are barons. Now the grandson runs the B&B the grandparents live on the equal floor. We had the suite room, Baronessa, with view of the Duomo. A very beautiful spacious room, beautiful ceiling, authentic furniture. Also the breakfast room authentic. It has all its charm and gives a certain atmosphere. On the other hand, you pay some kind of comfort that we are normal in the present times. All was cracked, cared. Breakfast was just good, a small buffet. For us, it was possible to have been a little more / larger, but we didn't leave with hunger. Nic to stay there once, but 2 nights was enough. Qua location, in the middle of the city center of Modica with a lot of free parking for the door. Perfect base to visit the side of Sicilia.

We highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, quiet place and friendly staff. Excellent for a relaxing holiday. Only sound we could hear was the chirping of the birds in the nearby fields. Pool was big with comfortable sunbeds. Buffet breakfast was good and plentiful. Only suggestion we can give is : dinner menu to be more varied. Our only problem was : transport. Being located out of town, to get to Pozzallo centre, just 2 kms away, we had to get a taxi, because no buses run close to the hotel. So if you don't drive, just call one !!

Lovely well presented hotel, centrally located, helpful staff. While only spending one night there was very impressed with this property. Inclusions better than other properties. Breakfast buffet catered to all tastes. Even though was in centre of the town, and it was a Saturday night, quiet and relaxing ambience.
