"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

With comprehensive facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, Chinese private dining rooms, a coffee lounge, fitness center, mahjong room, billiards hall, and an open-air leisure bar, it caters to both leisure and business travelers, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

In two days and one night, you can experience the round-the-clock commitment of China's first hydropower station; in three days and two nights, you can have a rendezvous with the ancient town of Meicheng that spans 1500 years; if you still have time, you can easily visit Lover's Island and Good Luck Island in Qiandao Lake. "The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning! Nestled by mountains and water, it's surrounded by lush greenery with fresh, clean air. The scenery is so beautiful it feels like a hidden paradise, and every photo you take turns out perfectly. The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals at the farm – it was so much fun! The lambs and bunnies were super gentle, and my child was completely engrossed in feeding them, screaming with joy the whole time. There's also a clear stream nearby where we enjoyed playing and wading in the water, really soaking in that connection with nature. And the infinity pool was a hit; the little ones didn't want to get out! Overall, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the service is very thoughtful. It's a fantastic experience for families, perfect for entertaining the kids while also relaxing for the adults. I highly recommend it for families with children, and we'll definitely be back!"

"The hotel is beautiful, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sun provide excellent natural light. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sun around noon. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as a robot can deliver it directly to your room. On the day we checked in, the sun was lovely, and we wanted to stroll by the river. The front desk staff patiently and carefully helped us with directions. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the river; you can go directly via the underground parking garage. It was a very satisfying stay."

"I stayed two nights during the New Year's holiday. It's close to Lingxi Cave and Daci Rock. The room didn't have underfloor heating, so it felt quite cold in winter. The air conditioner could only go up to 21.5 degrees Celsius. We needed to take a shuttle bus to get to meals and go out. Breakfast was just average compared to other ordinary five-star hotels in Qiandao Lake. For dinner, we opted for room service, but the food was a bit cheap. We ordered shrimp and snow peas, but there were only three or four small pieces of shrimp. For 48 yuan, we got a large bowl of snow peas. The advantage was that there was no service charge, and the food was still quite hot when it arrived at the room."

"Our room was suite 1201 on the 12th floor. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the Xin'an River. The only problem was the orientation, as rooms along the river face west. So, in the summer afternoons, it was incredibly hot, making it almost impossible to open the curtains. But in the mornings, the view was stunning. The room was quite clean, though it lacked a refrigerator. There was a bathtub, but surprisingly, no tub cover was provided. Overall, it was a good stay and I'd definitely stay again."

"Traveling with family, I booked one standard room and one king room, on different floors. Both were originally balcony rooms, but the front desk said they upgraded us. However, the standard room was changed to one without a balcony, only adding a bathtub, and it was still on a different floor. I felt it wasn't worth the change. The king room with a balcony had a great view, where you could see the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Our butler, Zhang, was also very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!"

"I highly recommend this place for vacation🏖️ First of all, you have to like a relaxing, peaceful, and sparsely populated vacation. If you like it, come here. This time I went to Hangzhou, I avoided crowded attractions throughout the trip. Drive a self-driving tour and find any place you want to go on the map. The place I recommend today is 1.5 hours drive from downtown Hangzhou. This homestay is amazing. There is a parking lot at the door, which is super convenient. The homestay is very large, a single-family house, and has front and back yards. The front yard is used for relaxation, drinking tea, and lawns. There are flowers and plants in the backyard, butterflies flying around, and you can walk directly out to the ancient town, but outsiders will not disturb the homestay guests. The service is really in place. After checking in, there will be a WeChat group to introduce you to nearby attractions and food. So thoughtful! ! The homestay is a single-family house with a swimming pool. The interior is super clean, not inferior to the quality of the hotel. Disinfectant tissues are also placed next to the electric toilet, which is very considerate. The hotel's disposable items are also quite exquisite. I took away the beautiful soap without using it, hehe😁 When I went there, it was 657 per night, with afternoon tea and souvenirs."

JjohnhuaThe location is very close to the highway exit. I stay here often because the price is right. Every time I travel to Jiande for business, I stay there. The hotel is a bit older, so the facilities aren't brand new, but the environment is still decent. The main thing is that it's affordable and offers great value for money.
