"This is probably the newest luxury hotel in Jiande. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent; they tried their best to accommodate all requests (a special shout-out to Xiao Wu, who proactively communicated with us via WeChat – very thoughtful). The hotel is right across from the Jiande Library, and nearby spots like Xunwei Xiaofang and 7017 are within walking distance, offering delicious and affordable food. Although it's a bit far from the winter swimming base for paddleboarding, there are electric scooters downstairs, and it's just a 10-15 minute ride away. The only downside is that the hotel only has an outdoor pool, with no indoor heated option."

"The front desk staff was lovely and upgraded my room for free. The room had voice control, was simple yet refreshing, and very clean. Although it's close to the road and can be a bit noisy with the window open, the double-paned windows block out a lot of sound when closed. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!"

"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

"Environment: The room opens directly onto the lake, and opening the balcony door reveals a gentle, tranquil Jiangnan evening scene. The sunset and pavilions are reflected in the water, making you feel like you're living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room's lighting is exceptionally comfortable; the evening glow streams in through the windows, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. Service: The owner surprised us with a local specialty souvenir upon check-in, which was delicious! 😋 The owner's restaurant next door is also quite good, especially the fish. Facilities: The bed makes a slight noise when sitting down or getting up, probably due to the age of the wood. It's noticeable at night. 🫠 One of the power outlets is a bit difficult to plug in; I forgot to mention this to the owner."

"I highly recommend this place for vacation🏖️ First of all, you have to like a relaxing, peaceful, and sparsely populated vacation. If you like it, come here. This time I went to Hangzhou, I avoided crowded attractions throughout the trip. Drive a self-driving tour and find any place you want to go on the map. The place I recommend today is 1.5 hours drive from downtown Hangzhou. This homestay is amazing. There is a parking lot at the door, which is super convenient. The homestay is very large, a single-family house, and has front and back yards. The front yard is used for relaxation, drinking tea, and lawns. There are flowers and plants in the backyard, butterflies flying around, and you can walk directly out to the ancient town, but outsiders will not disturb the homestay guests. The service is really in place. After checking in, there will be a WeChat group to introduce you to nearby attractions and food. So thoughtful! ! The homestay is a single-family house with a swimming pool. The interior is super clean, not inferior to the quality of the hotel. Disinfectant tissues are also placed next to the electric toilet, which is very considerate. The hotel's disposable items are also quite exquisite. I took away the beautiful soap without using it, hehe😁 When I went there, it was 657 per night, with afternoon tea and souvenirs."

"Absolute Gem! Perfect views, spotless rooms, and incredible hospitality I cannot recommend this place enough! It was truly worth every penny, and I’m so glad we stayed here. First off, the views are breathtaking—especially in the morning during breakfast. Sitting outside with the mist rising over the river next to the property was pure magic. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very tidy, which made us feel right at home. The service is top-notch. The owners are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond for their guests. They offer assistance in both Chinese and English, which made communication so easy. They gave us fantastic recommendations for nearby activities and even took the time to call ahead to make sure places were open—such a thoughtful touch! They also have barbecue facilities, which we really enjoyed. The full breakfast is huge and delicious—the perfect start to a day of exploring. And after a long day, the outdoor swimming pool was so refreshing and wonderful to cool off in. What really stood out to me was how caring they are. At 1 o'clock in the morning, I accidentally locked myself out of my room, and they came immediately to help me without any hesitation. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. This place is also great for families—they have play areas for kids, so everyone is well taken care of. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming stay, this is it. We will definitely be back!"

"The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Yanzhou, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to it at most. It is nice to take a walk along the river after dinner, and you can also watch performances in the ancient city. Facilities: I booked a parent-child LOFT room. There is a 1.8M large bed on each floor, two bathrooms, and a small tent and toys for children upstairs, which is also very considerate. The overall feeling is that the room is relatively large, which is just right for our family of three. There are chairs and tables outside the room, which is very friendly to men who smoke. Breakfast is on the M floor (B1 floor), and the category is not particularly rich. It would be more perfect if there were more varieties. At the same time, there is a swimming pool and a small playground for children to play on this floor, as well as a children's reading area. "We took our child to Qiandao Lake, and initially booked the Fairfield. To our surprise, it had issues with safety and hygiene. We reluctantly stayed one night and then decisively checked out early. We then found the Novotel, and as soon as we entered the lobby, it felt much better. It was spacious and clean, and Xiaoxiong, who checked us in, had an incredibly good attitude. The room also felt great. Xiaoxiong modestly said our room didn't have a lake view, but it actually did! Our child needed to do summer homework and check in afterward, so we asked Xiaoxiong for a chair and a lamp. She brought them very quickly. She proactively and patiently answered any questions we had – thank you! The Novotel's pool also deserves high praise. It's large and very well-maintained, clean and free of debris. The water depth is 1.5m, which is a bit deep for children, so kids who can't swim can go to the 0.5m splash area downstairs. The kids' club is also bigger than expected. Even if it rains and you can't go out, kids can play there for an hour or two and won't get bored at all. If I had to pick a flaw, it might be that the breakfast could be slightly more abundant. However, for this value for money, we really can't ask for more! (Avoid Fairfield Qiandao Lake! Influencer recommendations really aren't reliable, absolutely don't go! Unless you don't mind dirty toilets and bath mats; or your child falling off the bed in the middle of the night because the bed and frame aren't secure and slide around; or your rhinitis acting up because the pillows smell bad!)"

The yard is very quiet, just at the beginning of Fuchunjiang Forest Park, so the air is very good, there is a green walk along the river, and it is good to walk and run in the morning and evening.
