"The Pousada Valochouto in Paraty immediately strikes you with its excellent location, ideal for visiting the historic center and getting around easily on foot without the need for public transportation. Another very positive aspect is the spacious and comfortable room size, significantly above average for this type of accommodation. Also noteworthy is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, always friendly and ready to offer helpful advice, as well as the beautiful, well-maintained and sunny pool, perfect for relaxing during the hottest hours of the day. Among the less convincing aspects, breakfast is served only from 8 a.m. onwards, which is a bit late, especially for those with excursions or early departures. Furthermore, although the room has a window, it is not enclosed by glass but only by wooden paneling, a detail that makes the room quite noisy and can affect the quality of your sleep. Overall, a pleasant property for its location and hospitality, but with some areas for improvement."

"Casa Turquesa is one of our now favorite places in the world. We have traveled extensively and can say with all sincerity that this is one of the most lovely, charming, beautifully decorated, wonderfully run small luxury boutique properties we have ever had the pleasure to be welcomed into. We stayed in the "white room," an oasis of calm and beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as if we were old friends of the owners of a gorgeously renovated mansion in the historic town of Paraty. Our bed was beyond comfortable (and surrounded by a mosquito net - how romantic! - that the staff let down in the evening and tied up again in the morning). Water pressure in the shower was excellent and the toiletries were delightful -smelling and gentle on the skin. Fresh filtered water was delivered to the room every night before bed and available in the reception area of the hotel at no charge. Every night on turndown, we received a little surprise from the casa - chocolates but also souvenirs from the casa like a magnetic bookmark or a branded recycled materials tote bag. Since guests are asked not to wear their outdoor shoes inside, guests are given a pair of Havainas flip flops upon check-in, and you can take them home upon departure. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made and quite varied. Most importantly, I cannot sing enough praises to the staff. This is a truly exceptional and warm group of people, every one of them. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We have rarely felt so much genuine pleasure from staff at a hotel - so kudos to both the obviously carefully chosen staff members as well as to management for fostering this atmosphere. When we left, we vowed to each other that we would return."

"Το εστιατόριο είναι μια μικρή εμπειρία, βρίσκεται σε ένα ράφι και έχει διαδρομή στην παραλία, σύντομα θα έχει πολύ θόρυβο από τη συνέλευση των τάξεων και των ανθρώπων που κλαίνε/μουσική. Η νύχτα δίπλα στο φεγγάρι φαίνεται ότι η μουσική είναι στο δωμάτιό του, έξω από τους ανθρώπους που περνούν τον διάδρομο όλη νύχτα, να ξεράσουν! Έβαλα το αμάξι μου εκεί που την είχαν ορίσει, και στο τέλος του βραδιού κάλεσε για αλλαγή, και είπα ότι θα δει το ηλιοβασίλεμα και ο άντρας μου θα αλλάξει. Έκανε το μικρό μου γιο, πήρε το κλειδί του αυτοκινήτου μου μαζί του και μπήκε στο αμάξι μου χωρίς την άδειά μου!! Εκτός από το να φωνάζει όλη μέρα και να τελειώνει το ταξίδι του qquier 1!! Μην μπεις στο κλεμμένο!!"
