The biggest surprise of my trip to Western Sichuan was discovering a hidden gem hotel that blends Thangka art with the gentle embrace of the snowy plateau. Judging a hotel's quality boils down to four main dimensions: service, environment, dining, and scenery. This hotel far exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and I must share my experience! I. Heartwarming Service: ******* Warmth in Every Detail Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately touched by their sincerity. Everyone presented us with hadas (traditional ******* scarves). It wasn't just the hotel manager and front desk staff; even teachers and students from the Thangka Academy came to greet us. I suspect this was because we had specially come to commission a custom-made Thangka, hence the grand welcome. Even more remarkable was the warmth that extended beyond the initial meeting. Throughout our stay, we were treated like old friends, with attentive and considerate care. The staff always proactively inquired about our altitude sickness and whether we were adjusting well. They even brought us warm milk at 9 pm. These small, thoughtful gestures were present throughout, not just standardized, assembly-line service, but genuine empathy—truly touching. II. Guest Rooms and Public Areas: An Immersive Thangka Art Space The rooms are filled with a captivating atmosphere, decorated in an antique style with exquisite Thangka motifs throughout. Upon entering, you're enveloped in a rich ******* artistic ambiance, quiet and soothing. The public areas on the first and second floors are even more impressive. Thangka artworks are displayed throughout the hotel, allowing you to experience the charm of this intangible cultural heritage at every turn. It's also the only place in the village where you can quietly and comfortably enjoy a coffee, sitting and appreciating the paintings – travel fatigue instantly dissipates. III. A Fulfilling Dining Experience: A Boon for Vegetarians Our entire group ate vegetarian food. We initially thought the vegetarian options in ******* hotels would be limited, but the kitchen was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Even with common, simple vegetables like potatoes, bell peppers, spinach, and tomatoes, the dishes were prepared without complicated seasonings or fancy cooking. The chef's solid and experienced skills transformed simple vegetarian dishes into fresh, mellow, and sweet flavors that lingered long after the meal, demonstrating the chef's profound expertise. IV. An Unexpectedly Stunning Surprise: A Backyard Facing a Vast Snow-Capped Mountain Range The most stunning highlight of the entire stay was undoubtedly the hotel's backyard. With an unobstructed view, the entire continuous snow-capped mountain range of western Sichuan unfolded before your eyes, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magnificent natural scenery of the plateau without even leaving the room. If you're lucky enough to witness a rainbow after the rain, every snapshot is a breathtakingly beautiful snow-covered landscape. Combining ******* warmth, Thangka art, authentic cuisine, and unparalleled snow-capped mountain views, this hotel offers a comprehensive and exceptional accommodation and dining experience. A must-stay in this village, I would definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The facilities are first-class, the decoration is tasteful, the materials are high-quality, and the layout is reasonable under the limited terrain. The sanitation is neat and clean, and the bathroom in the lobby is clean and tasteful. The environment is appropriate, reasonably used, and parking is convenient. The service is particularly excellent, and the guests feel at home. The staff is warm and hospitable, and it feels like going home to see relatives. The security guard patiently guides parking. The waiter Xiaomei immediately opens the car door and helps to carry, lift, and push the luggage, leaving us all empty-handed and feeling embarrassed. Especially the Xiaomei of No. 054 and No. 088 helped to check in and deliver the luggage to the room, which was very polite. It is both professional and hospitable. It is really an excellent experience. Love you! The girl at the main desk is also very professional, and she knows the local customs and cultural characteristics very well!

The room was excellent overall. It came with an electric blanket, and we were even provided with an extra blanket. We wanted to visit a clinic in the county town, but it was hard to find a taxi. The owner personally drove us to the best clinic in town, which was incredibly kind of him. He is a very warm and kind person. Friends passing through should definitely consider staying here! 😄

The room was okay, and the receptionist was quite nice. However, the hotel as a whole lacked management. It was very disorganized. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00 AM, but when I arrived at the restaurant on the first floor at 7:40 AM, there was nothing there. At 7:45 AM, a young man who looked like a chef got out of a car with a black dog, hurriedly went into the kitchen, and stir-fried two vegetable dishes. All three types of pastries were placed cold on the buffet table. Only then did the ******* waiter heat them up for me under the tray. After five minutes, they realized no water had been added, so they added water and reheated it. The porridge was just leftover rice mixed with a little water. The staff's hats and uniforms were carelessly tossed on the chairs.

The hotel is located next to National Highway 317. There are currently exclusive parking spaces for guests to park. There is no elevator in the 2-story building. The owner is particularly enthusiastic to carry luggage. There is no breakfast at present and needs to take care of himself. The room is relatively clean and simple, the bathroom is dry and wet, and there is a water heater (including drinking water).

The front desk staff were very friendly, directing parking, helping with luggage, and proactively adjusting my room. Thank you!

The hospitality is warm, there is a large parking space in front of the door, and the food is delicious. The room is slightly damp and a bit chilly in the morning. Accommodation in Manigango Town is limited, and this one is pretty good overall.

If you arrive early, you can sit in the second-floor lobby and watch the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains. The rooms are very clean. I highly recommend their taro chicken; it's incredibly delicious.

For a remote small place, the room is OK, although the public toilet is not bad, the facilities in the room are basically complete, and the front desk service is OK. The price is reasonable.
