"This was my first time bringing my kids to Nanning, and after comparing several hotels, choosing the Youyi Hotel was definitely the right decision. 1. Hotel Facilities: As soon as we walked in, we were amazed by the starry sky design in the atrium – it created such a wonderful ambiance. What excited my two kids the most was the smart robot in the lobby; they couldn't stop watching it, it really captivated them! The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. 2. Dining and Surroundings: The hotel's buffet breakfast was rich and delicious, and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. The location is excellent, right near Wuxiang City Station on Metro Line 1, within walking distance, making travel very convenient. Next door is the MixC commercial area, with all sorts of dining options available. 3. Service Details: Although self-parking was a bit inconvenient, the hotel thoughtfully provided valet parking service! The staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive, perfectly solving the parking issue. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, highly suitable for families with children. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Nanning!"

"First time in Nanning, and amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, I found a little sanctuary: the Nanxi Hotel. Located on the 21st floor, it offers a delightful surprise the moment you open the door. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; since three of us were staying, they kindly provided an extra quilt. The room itself is well-equipped. Given the frequent rain here, it's essential to put up the rain curtain on the balcony. The entire room is smart-enabled with XiaoDu, which is super convenient. The front desk was particularly thoughtful, offering many small amenities, even dental floss, making us feel right at home. Plus, the location is fantastic for getting around, with Metro Line 1 and 2 close by, making it easy to reach Pingxi Night Market and Sanjie Liangxiang. Definitely a worthwhile place to stay."

The overall decor is chic and luxurious, with a quality feel. Jeven at the front desk was both gentle and professional. He quickly verified our information and efficiently completed the check-in process. Knowing it was my first time in Nanning, he thoughtfully recommended authentic local snacks and tourist routes. He also proactively asked about our needs and arranged a high-floor room with a great view for us. Any questions we had, he answered patiently and thoroughly, always with a kind smile. His service was perfectly balanced and truly reflective of InterContinental's professional standards. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nanning for tourism or business!"

"The location is unbeatable, right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, in the heart of Chaoyang District. It's an old, well-established hotel in Nanning, but the facilities are dated. The room has carpets, and Nanning's air is humid. Being allergic, I was itchy all night and developed a rash all over my body the next day. The mattress was quite soft, the kind that sinks when you sit on it, which wasn't comfortable for me. However, the hotel offers airport shuttle service, which was convenient since I was traveling with my 70-year-old parents and aunts. It really depends on your needs. "The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway, which is super convenient for those who get motion sickness to visit various attractions. It's also an easy walk to Liangdong Night Market and Min Ge Lake. They upgraded my room, which was very spacious with a separate wet and dry area and double sinks – very convenient to use. The breakfast was plentiful and even included authentic Laoyou noodles, which would cost more than ten yuan a bowl outside. Room service was also very prompt in delivering items. I would definitely recommend it to friends."

The free airport shuttle was very punctual, the driver was attentive, and the front desk service was warm and welcoming. "I was staying there during the Liuzhou earthquake, and the tremors were quite noticeable. I heard there would be another one at midnight, which scared me so much I didn't know where to go. Around 11 PM, I just grabbed my slippers and a backpack and ran. I had initially planned to stay at Liyuan for a while with my child, as it's a family-friendly hotel and the open space seemed safer. So, I took a taxi there overnight. The front desk service was pretty good; they even upgraded me to a suite. Unfortunately, it was just me and my child, and the suite was at the very end of a corner. I'm a bit timid, so I was scared and didn't want to stay there. In the end, I switched back to a smaller room closer to the main road. The room was quite spacious, decorated in a vintage, 'old money' style, I guess. I'm not sure if it was just me or the design, but the toilet in the bathroom faced the window, and it had a glass door. Even though it was just me and my child, a transparent toilet was still a bit awkward. There's a small playground in the hotel's basement, next to the pool. I could smell some disinfectant, too. The playground was empty, and my child quickly got bored and left after a short while. They mentioned alpaca and goldfish feeding, but you can only feed the alpacas at specific times – not too early, not too late. My child wanted to feed them after breakfast, but it wasn't the right time, so they couldn't. By 11 AM, my child was already back for their nap. It felt more like a display than an actual activity. My child didn't sleep well overnight, so I wanted them to get some nap time and requested a late check-out until 2 PM. Close to the check-out time, I received a call asking if I wanted to extend my stay (I often check out around 2 PM, and no other hotel has ever called me about it). I'm not sure why they call it a family-friendly hotel; I feel it's more geared towards business travelers. When I was there, there was some internet conference going on, with a large group of people checking in at the lobby. Also, there were no kids' cartoon goodie bags on weekdays, only on weekends. I've stayed at many family-friendly hotels, and while this one has all the amenities, they seem like a budget version. My 3-year-old really couldn't enjoy themselves here. However, Nanning isn't a major tourist city, so perhaps this hotel is considered top-tier there."
