I was quite satisfied initially. I booked a superior twin room through Trip.com, and the hotel proactively upgraded our room upon arrival. However, what disappointed me the most were the service and management issues. I was traveling with my child on the Qinghai-Gansu loop, and I had specifically bought a clothesline online for this trip. When checking out, I accidentally left it behind. As a hotel, shouldn't they have mentioned it during the room inspection upon checkout? And after realizing I'd forgotten it, shouldn't they have called to inform me? They didn't do either, which meant I had no place to dry clothes for the rest of my trip. At the end of the loop, I had even considered booking two more nights with them, but I decided against it. I hope the hotel strengthens its training and management.

5-star review! This stay exceeded my expectations. Being on a high floor, the night view was excellent. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The room was exceptionally clean, with attention to detail, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had late-night snacks, which were delicious. The hotel even thoughtfully provided a small gift, and the service was incredibly warm. It's my top choice for travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

I compared many hotels for my Xining trip and finally chose the Park Plaza Xining for a King Room. My overall stay far exceeded my expectations, so I absolutely have to write a detailed positive review to recommend it to anyone visiting Xining! The hotel is located in Chengdong District, making transportation incredibly convenient. Whether you're taking a taxi to the train station, the city's commercial district, or setting off on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, it's very easy. There are plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about getting around. The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in was quick, and the registration process was simple. They proactively and thoughtfully reminded me about precautions for high-altitude travel, hot water usage, and breakfast times. They patiently answered all my questions, and even offered to help with my luggage when I had a lot – their attention to service details was impeccable, with no hint of perfunctoriness. I particularly want to praise the King Room. The room was much more spacious than other hotels in the same price range, feeling completely unconfined. The entire room was spotless, cleaned with exceptional thoroughness. The floors, tabletops, corners, and bathroom were all meticulously clean. The bed sheets and duvet covers were brand new, odorless, and neatly made. The two-meter king bed had a mattress with just the right firmness, and the pillows were comfortable. After a long journey, lying down on it allowed me to relax quickly, and I had an excellent night's sleep. The room's soundproofing was superb; I could barely hear any noise from the hallway or the street, ensuring a particularly peaceful sleep at night. The room boasted excellent natural light and views, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a glimpse of Xining's cityscape. The warm-toned lighting created a wonderful ambiance. The Wi-Fi speed was lightning-fast; streaming videos and uploading work files was completely smooth. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, with ample water pressure and quick, consistent hot water – making showers comfortable and refreshing. Toiletries were fully stocked and of good quality. Power outlets were conveniently placed for easy charging, and there was a spacious storage area for luggage and personal belongings. The hotel's amenities are also very practical. There's free parking, so self-driving guests don't have to worry about parking. They also have a laundry room with drying facilities, which is incredibly friendly for travelers who need to wash and dry clothes during a long trip. The overall decor is simple yet elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained – new and not dated. In terms of value for money, it's among the best in its class in Xining. Whether for leisure travel or a business trip, this King Room at Park Plaza is an excellent choice. It provides peace of mind, comfort, and reliability. The next time I visit Xining, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to all my friends visiting Xining!

I was extremely impressed with the room. The way it is designed has been very well thought out and it looks as lovely as it is comfortable! The suite had everything we needed including the lovely large bath tub and shower. I loved the space and it would have been ideal for two or three nights in the place. Unfortunately we only stayed for one. It is located near food markets and restaurants and is very close to the train station. The hotel reception was very professional and extremely helpful, they also arranged a car to take us to the train station. The breakfast is standard Chinese style breakfast, I thought it was good and filling, and they offer variety of coffee options with their machine, as well as tea. This hotel is very well organized and designed! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Xining!

My recent business trip to Xining led me to this hotel, and I must say the overall experience was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and efficient; check-in was quick, and they even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room's facilities were new and complete, with a fresh and elegant ambiance. The decor was simple yet cozy. Complimentary disposable toiletries, bottled water, and tea were provided. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards; the bedding was changed after each guest, and the entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in even the trickiest corners. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining.

This is my third day at the hotel, and Mr. Li at the front desk reserved the same room with a bathtub for me. It's clean, bright, and comfortable, so I've been sleeping very well every night. Mr. Li even helped me take a passport photo to apply for the UOM app. Plus, the front desk assisted me with receiving a package. Overall, the service has been thoughtful and excellent.

Extremely convenient location! Downstairs, you'll find the Nanguan snack street, and it's just 100 meters to Nanguan Mosque, 400 meters to Dongguan Mosque, and 500 meters to Beiguan Mosque. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. It's only 2 km from the train station and a 30-minute drive to the airport. The floor attendant, Ma Ping, was incredibly welcoming. She gave us yogurt for each room and even helped me freeze the beef and lamb I bought from the night market. I highly recommend Hilton to anyone visiting Xining.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room; it was spotlessly clean, with no dust even in the corners. The bed was just right in terms of softness, and I fell asleep quickly. The soundproofing was also good, I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out. Any requests I had were promptly addressed with a quick phone call. The facilities were comprehensive, with stable hot water and clean bathrooms. It's incredibly good value for money. This will be my top choice when I visit this area again, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

This is an old hotel that has been so popular that the owners got lazy and forgot that the image of luxury must be backed up by actual service quality. On the outside and in the lobby, it's luxurious. In the actual rooms the impression is very underwhelming: old furniture, tiny TV and no electronic features, especially considering that the room is large and the price is high. The quality of room maintenance is bad (see attached photos): - bedsheet with holes and ripped edge; - sofa with ripped covering; - towel with ripped edge; - dents on wooden wardrobe doors; - dirty finger marks on the wall; - desk lamp with a bent plug; - clogged shower (water was drying out during the whole night); - one of the lights wasn't working. This is unacceptable for such a high price and luxurious marketing, especially considering high Chinese service standards and more Western-oriented marketing of this hotel (it would be a very bad and untrue representation of a ”chinese hotel”). There were only three good things about our stay: great breakfasts (there was coffee!), nice location and nice view. Overall, this could've been truly an amazing accommodation (location, food, luxurious lobby) if only the owners cared to renovate the rooms slightly, add more modern facilities and force the stuff to be more mindful of cleanliness and ripped bedsheets/towels/sofa. But seemingly the owners do not care, so I strongly do not recommend this hotel if you're looking for high quality service.

This is honestly the best deal in town. I have been coming to Xining for 10 years, stayed in different hotels each time. This is for sure my favourite one and the best deal in this range of prices. First, the location. Right in the city centre, with a lot of taxis coming by (this can be an issue for hotels in other locations, where taxis are more rare). It is super convenient and one can reach any part of town efficiently and quickly. There are many buses that go from here to anywhere in town. Second, the quality of the room, of the bed (super super cosy and comfortable, which is really nice after travelling roughly for two weeks in the nearby countryside), the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very good hygiene products, not cheap toothpaste and soap like in other hotels. Third, and most importantly, the quality and warmth of the service. At the reception, the employees are very friendly and understanding, very warm-hearted, You feel really welcome in this hotel. They have helped me in several ways. especially Mrs Jane and Mrs Sunny Bai: fantastic people! They also speak English! Makes the whole stay memorable, enjoyable, relaxing. I will surely come back here next time. This is an upper-tier hotel made available with affordable prices. Thank you!
