"We booked this hotel because it was close to the departure point for a day trip. We originally thought it was old and not in good condition, but when we got there, we found it was quite good and clean. It was worth the extra 100 yuan. The room we booked included breakfast, but we left early for the day trip and breakfast was not available yet. The hotel does not offer breakfast takeaway."

"Facilities: Alright, the automatic toilet wasn't very responsive. Cleanliness: Good, quite clean, just a slight odor in the bathroom. Environment: Very convenient, easy to find, and the lobby is grand. There's also a parking lot. Service: Excellent, they even provided a complimentary fruit platter! No air conditioning though. On my first night, I experienced the local style of no AC, which was a bit stuffy and dry. Luckily, June 30th wasn't a high-temperature day, so I managed to get through it, haha! 😝 Dining: It's passable, but I'd recommend eating out."

"The room was quite spacious, and the service was good. They even provided free breakfast. The two beds were easy to push together, which was convenient. Breakfast was a little lacking, but a highlight was the unlimited yogurt. There's also a game machine and billiards table in the lobby on the first floor, which I unfortunately only noticed when checking out because I didn't expect the lobby to be so large. Overall, it was pretty good."

"We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers."

"The hotel is near Mojia Street, and it's a 15-minute walk to Xiaguan Night Market! Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied! It's a shame they are so strict about the start time though. The door was locked until opening, so we had to stand outside and wait. We even missed breakfast on the first day because of this and had to leave hungry. It would be much better if they offered packed breakfasts for guests going on early day trips or catching early flights!"

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. It's right next to a Wanda Plaza. The rooms and facilities are new, clean, and hygienic. It's especially quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep, so I, who have trouble sleeping, decided to extend my stay. Parking is on the street downstairs, and because we arrived late and couldn't find a spot, the owner came down twice to help, moving his own car for us. The owner and front desk staff were very kind. 👍 There's also a large convenience store on the first floor with a full range of daily necessities. The beef and lamb in Xining are amazing! Before leaving, we bought some, and the owner kindly froze it in the hotel's freezer for us to take home the next day. We were very grateful. Speaking of food, there's a night market downstairs that stays open very late. We arrived late that day and ate there. We found a small shop called ”Harbin Mala Tang” and ordered clay pot rice noodles and Mala Tang, both of which were delicious and inexpensive. My daughter said it was better than Zhang Liang's. While eating, we heard a story: a delivery guy accidentally spilled some food while delivering to their shop, so he went back and bought a replacement to compensate the customer. The owner of this small mala tang (spicy hot pot) shop told the delivery driver, ”If this happens again, just tell me. I can forgo the money the shop makes, saving you a few yuan. You only earn so little in this sweltering heat...” Wishing this little shop booming business! I think Xining must be a warm city, where we encounter one heartwarming scene after another. This was just a brief stopover, but I'll definitely make a special trip back next time..."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very good. They helped us upgrade the room type for free. They also sent a lot of things. It happened to be the last day of the Great Northwest. It was also the best night to sleep."

"The hotel room and its bathroom are very large spacious and they would meet four star hotel standard if they were kept clean and well maintained. But the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be changed and only one (and two later) out of four elevators was (were) working that caused big problems when all room were occupied. Guest reported the problem to the local police and a second elevator started to work one day later. Overall a great asset but very poor managed."

"The room was spotless and very clean, with new facilities and a great wet/dry bathroom separation. The sink was a really nice touch! The location is excellent and super convenient, right in the heart of Xining, very close to Wangfujing Department Store. There are tons of great food options and shopping plazas nearby. What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and thorough service; they cleaned the room daily. Plus, the airport shuttle is right across the street, which was incredibly relaxing – no need to lug my suitcase around!"
