It takes about 50 minutes one way to drive to the Longxing Temple parking lot (you can get on the highway within ten minutes from the hotel, and the one-way toll is about 22 yuan). A round trip only takes about two hours, which is honestly shorter than my one-way commute during rush hour. If you enjoy visiting Zhengding Night Market, can tolerate noise and disturbances while sleeping at night, and can get up early to explore the ancient city when it's less crowded, then choosing a hotel in Zhengding Ancient City is also a good option. To be frank, while their location is an advantage, some of them are a bit old, and the newer ones are generally just average in quality, and not particularly cheap either.
