"This hotel is worth revisiting. The butler-style service, from the front desk to housekeeping, is truly attentive. The hotel is clean, quiet, and has a great ambiance, and the breakfast is also good. We stayed in a suite, and the kids were very happy. It's also very convenient to get to the attractions from here; we opted for electric scooters, which you can rent by scanning a code, helping us avoid Kunming's terrible traffic. My only suggestion is to add some gym equipment, like dumbbells."

"This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Green Lake Hotel, and our entire family, including seniors and children, had an amazing experience staying here! The front desk staff, noticing we had elders and kids with us, proactively offered a complimentary upgrade to a room with a separate wet and dry area. This was incredibly convenient for the seniors to wash up and we didn't have to worry about the children slipping – full marks for attention to detail. The room was clean and elegant, with a historical street view outside the window, making for a very comfortable stay. To our pleasant surprise, the Chinese meal included in the Ctrip package was incredibly rich and varied. From specialty appetizers to delicate dim sum, every dish showed great care and thought. The service staff at the Chinese restaurant were exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, smiling throughout and providing meticulous care. The pick-up driver was polite and the check-in process at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Everything truly made us feel at home. Even more heartwarming, the hotel prepared a generous welcome gift for the children, who were absolutely thrilled. This thoughtful gesture deeply touched our whole family. As a 70-year-old established state guest house, it certainly lives up to its profound heritage. This stay was both comfortable and memorable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling with family. We will definitely choose Green Lake Hotel again on our next visit to Kunming! And a special thanks again to the driver who helped us rush to catch our high-speed train – everything was perfect!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, and the front desk is on Level 2. Just like many other hotels in China, they allow early check-in, which is one of my favorite things 😊. However, if you plan to visit Nanping Street, you'll need to book a Didi, as it is not within walking distance."

"Flying home from Kunming, I booked the Chengji Hotel near the airport. The front desk service was excellent. There were only two breakfast vouchers for my family of three, but seeing that my child wasn't so little, they gave us an extra breakfast voucher. The room was very comfortable, and there's a washer and dryer, which is a must-have for me when choosing hotels for travel. It gets so hot in the summer that you sweat easily, and clothes can start to smell if not washed promptly. Without a dryer, they won't dry, but this hotel has four dryers available."

If you're driving, there's free parking, which is a big relief. The hotel facilities are comprehensive; you can relax in the hot springs to unwind, or use the gym for a light workout. Everything is clean and tidy. The service is attentive, the environment is comfortable, and all my needs for dining, entertainment, and relaxation were met. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely come back on my next trip."

"The room was spacious, and we had a great night's sleep with the twin beds pushed together. The water park is right downstairs, and the indoor hot spring has water jet massages. The outdoor hot springs are a bit warmer and offer better air. It was really relaxing to soak after a tiring day of activities. My kids absolutely loved the park, and breakfast was quite varied. The hotel staff were all very polite. We ate dinner at the restaurant several times, and the food was consistently good. One time, we arrived after 2 PM and they still cooked up several delicious dishes for us. They even gave us a proper birthday cake, not just a small, token one, which was a very generous and nice touch. We had a great experience and would recommend it to friends."

"We had a wonderful stay here. My favorite feature was the bay window. It was such a cozy place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and they responded to our requests quickly. The room was clean, modern, and well maintained. It had a smart toilet, a powerful hair dryer, a round table, and a small tatami table, which made it convenient for us to enjoy takeaway meals in the room. The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around. Most of the attractions we visited were within easy reach ,abt 30min to every attractions. Ordering food delivery was also very easy, and if you prefer takeaway, there are plenty of restaurants and bubble tea shops downstairs in the shopping mall. Breakfast included Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles and Steam Pot Chicken. The noodles were just so-so for my taste, but the chicken was really good. The broth was flavorful with a nice peppery taste. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again when we visit Kunming."
