"I love the traditional decoration of the hotel, it transports you back to the ancient time. However, the car cannot go in, you have to push your luggage into the street where the hotel is located. It's very near to the big malls and walking distance to the old town. Hotel was very nice to pack our breakfast for us because we have a train to catch early in the morning and the restaurant is not open yet."

"Extremely satisfied! The room was spacious and came with an oxygen concentrator, smart home features, a smart toilet, and a high-power hairdryer! The water heater was excellent, providing hot water instantly, and the shower pressure was fantastic, making for a refreshing shower. Plus, when we arrived at the hotel at past 10 PM on the first day, they offered car pick-up and complimentary rice noodle supper! The value for money and the environment are both incredible. They even gave us a souvenir gift. Overall, everything was top-notch; we had a very comfortable stay! "

"The hotel located near tourist attractions, making it easy to go on foot. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since we can't speak Chinese, they contacted us with a translation app. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. I suggest everyone to try crossing-the-bridge noodle. They also offer tea in the afternoon and desserts in the evening. Along the way from the hotel to Kunming old street you can see local lives. We saw groups playing chess right in front of the hotel, giving a vintage atmosphere. The only thing i'd like the hotel to improve is that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough."

"Our group of eight traveled around Yunnan for 12 days, and Citymark Hotel (Kunming Changshui Airport) was by far everyone's favorite. The service was exceptional; as soon as we walked in, the front desk greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. The rooms were incredibly clean and featured smart services. All the slippers and towels were sterilized and sealed, and the sheets and duvet covers were impeccably clean, even better than at home. They also offered free shuttle service, and the breakfast spread was varied, nutritious, and delicious. It was a stark contrast to the cold attitude we experienced from staff at other hotels earlier in our trip. Everyone agreed that on our next visit to Kunming, Yunnan, we'll definitely stay at Citymark Hotel again and recommend it to our friends and family."

"Atour X pays a lot of attention to details, is value for money! Hotel settings was beautiful setting like a boutique style hotel, despite Atour is a chain hotel. The toilet was partitioned into dry and wet, even it was small space. The toilet bowl was impressive! It's heated, and automatic flushing, even better than the ones on a plane. As usual, quality sleep because of their bed and pillow! I had became an Atour fan."

GGuest UserHighly recommended, 10/10! The manager's service is thoughtful, and their management is professional. The team is quick to respond and very warm. The 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle is super convenient and stress-free, taking only 10 minutes, and the driver was punctual and attentive. The rooms are clean with no strange odors, and the soundproofing is excellent. With smart room controls and zero-pressure mattresses, I slept soundly without being disturbed by airplane noise. Breakfast includes Yunnan rice noodles, fresh and abundant. The value for money is exceptional. This is definitely the top choice for layovers or early morning flights!

JJesmine ChuaOur first stay for this Yunnan trip and honestly, it was a great choice for the first night. ✅ Family room with 2 large beds (1.8m + 1.5m) — comfortable for our family of 5 ✅ Clean and modern room ✅ Excellent location ✅ Walking distance to 金马碧鸡坊 and 南强夜市 ✅ Plenty of food options nearby ✅ Easy for late-night supper after arriving in Kunming 😆 After a full day of travelling, we really appreciated not having to travel far for food or sightseeing. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage, and the kids settled in comfortably. One thing to note though: the hotel is located within a pedestrian area, so cars cannot stop directly at the hotel entrance. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out where to alight when we first arrived. 😅 💡 Tip: Ask your driver to drop you off at Jinbi Flowers & Birds Market (金碧花鸟市场) instead. From there, it’s only a short walk to the hotel. You can also contact the hotel beforehand and ask the staff to come out to fetch you and help with the luggage, which makes things much easier. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay and a convenient base for exploring Kunming on your first or last night in Yunnan. 🤍 Would I stay again? Yes — mainly for the location, family-friendly room setup, and easy access to food and attractions nearby. 😊

Downstairs, you'll find the Runcheng commercial area, and it's close to Wanda and Yunfang, making both travel and daily life convenient. The high-rise lobby is themed around camellia flowers, creating an elegant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable Serta mattresses, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area with Peter Thomas Roth toiletries – thoughtful details. The buffet breakfast includes specialty Yunnan rice noodles, and the freshly ground coffee is aromatic. The 24-hour gym and free laundry room are very practical. The front desk service is efficient and enthusiastic. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, offering great value for money. I'll choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming.

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel twice now, and the service, facilities, and even the meditation classes have consistently been excellent. The hotel's ambiance and scent create a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, and the green views from the windows and the design are incredibly relaxing. All the staff members are exceptionally kind and friendly, always greeting you. I particularly appreciate the hotel's cultural offerings and the thoughtful little details – they've put a lot of care into them. The breakfast is delicious too. Location-wise: across the road is Daguan Park and Yuyuan, perfect for a morning stroll. There are also dedicated cycling and running paths right outside the hotel. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Haigeng Dam, and Cuihu Lake isn't too far either. Overall, it offers great value for money; it's healing, quiet, and truly feels like a home away from home.

GGuest UserHotel is located among the higher end residential area. The road along the hotel is lined with pretty jacaranda trees. It’s less than 1 km walk from modern Tongde Kunming mall with nice restaurants and Baiyun train station via an underground shopping stretch. Donghua market is also nearby at 2+ km away. Service is good. It was non peak period and we were given a room upgrade and accommodated a late check out. Cleaners are very friendly. Room is well cleaned with no smell even though corridor and reception area sometimes smell of smoke. The carpet may need a good wash. The breakfast buffet spread is wide. Cooked food quality is excellent especially the rose pastry and fried rice. They are more delicious and fresher than those we bought outside the hotel. The 2 ladies at the cafe are friendly and very helpful. The laundry area is located before the cafe on 2nd floor. There are only 2 washing machines and dryers which are usually busy in the morning and evening. In the evening, the area outside the laundry area is dark as the cafe is closed and not lighted up.

MM557041****I absolutely loved this hotel in every aspect. The service was attentive and meticulous, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Plus, they even extend breakfast until 1:30 PM, which is a huge bonus! The value for money is exceptional, and the location is very convenient for transportation. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

LLiHong15Five-star review! The hotel boasts a simple yet stylish environment, and the hygiene standards are top-notch. The toiletries provided are comprehensive and excellent quality. The front desk staff proactively offered information on local attractions and routes. The room itself is spacious, the air conditioning offers both heating and cooling, and the soundproofing is superb – absolutely no disturbance from outside. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options and coffee shops, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. For its price point, this hotel's overall quality is outstanding, with excellent service, cleanliness, and comfort. The value for money is unbeatable; it will definitely be my first choice for future trips!

GGuest UserHad an early flight the next morning, so I chose the Mercure at the airport and was very pleased. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy. I really liked the French romantic decor, and it was great value for money. My only suggestion would be for the shower pressure to be a bit stronger. Overall, a great impression of Kunming!

XXiaotaiyang❤️.1. Kunming South High-Speed Rail Station shuttle service (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM): Luxury car pick-up and drop-off on the hour. Hotel to Kunming South takes about 7-8 minutes. 2. The room was clean and tidy with no strange odors. All appliances were fully functional. It would be perfect if disposable face towels weren't provided (implying a preference for reusable options or a wish for less waste). 3. The staff were polite and provided excellent, thoughtful service. 4. Breakfast was good, and the hotel offers great value for money. I recommend it and will stay here again on my next visit.
