"I booked a 3-day, 2-night stay at Shaoxing Hotel through Trip.com. Taking advantage of the good weather, I brought my elderly parents out for a change of scenery. My mother, due to a long-term illness, is wheelchair-bound. The moment we arrived at the entrance of Shaoxing Hotel, we were met with the meticulous care and attention of Mr. Lu Xinsong from the hotel. He first pushed my mother to the front desk, helped us arrange two adjacent rooms so I could look after my parents, and then suggested we stay in Building 6, which is close to the breakfast restaurant, so we wouldn't have to walk too far for meals each morning. While I was checking in, he also pushed my mother and father to the lounge area in the lobby to rest and wait. What touched me even more was that after I finished checking in, he helped us push my mother and simultaneously introduced us to the beautiful hotel grounds, staying with us until we were settled in our room with our luggage. Thank you so much, Mr. Lu. You are the face of Shaoxing Hotel and, to us guests, a relative we felt an instant connection with! Shaoxing Hotel is a five-star scenic hotel designed with traditional Jiangnan garden architecture. It truly lives up to the saying 'every step reveals a new view,' making you feel like you're strolling through a painting. During our two-day stay, my family not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery and delicious food but also received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. I'd especially like to mention Ms. Feng from housekeeping; she was always responsive and provided excellent service. Thank you too! Life is a journey, and I'm incredibly grateful to have met such wonderful people. This was our first time in Shaoxing, but because of good people like Mr. Lu and Ms. Feng, who felt more like family than strangers, I believe I will definitely return to Shaoxing! And many times! "The room was clean, hygienic, and tastefully decorated; you could tell a lot of thought went into it. The owner was also kind and enthusiastic. Shaoxing is a city with a rich cultural heritage, home to many historical figures, and its quiet, uncrowded environment is perfect for a leisurely trip. Three days wasn't enough to explore everything, so I'll definitely be back."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the subway entrance, and taxis can pull up directly to the lobby. The surrounding area is also quite nice, and the lake view from the high floors is beautiful and uplifting. The room itself is spacious and clean, and the TV's screen casting feature is a plus. The gym, though small, is well-equipped. Breakfast, however, was pretty average, nothing special, and honestly, it lowers the hotel's overall standard a bit. Also, probably because it's so close to the subway, you can hear a whistling sound every time a train passes by. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options carefully."

"A fantastic, highly recommended stay! Dongyueli perfectly captures the ambiance of a Jiangnan water town. The hotel is right next to Cangqiao Old Street, built by the river, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's within walking distance to Lu Xun's former residence, Fushan Park, and other attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city. The staff were warm and attentive, and the common areas were wonderfully relaxing for tea and chats."

"My overall stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The room was spotless, with no dust in the corners, and the bathroom was dry and clean. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and I slept soundly through the night. Check-in was quick at the front desk, and Xiaoyu was very polite and responsive to all my needs. The common areas were tidy and quiet, and all facilities were well-maintained. It’s perfect for both business and leisure travelers. I've saved this place and will definitely prioritize staying here again!"

"This hotel is super convenient! It's just 20 meters from the City Square metro station, and there are buses nearby that go to Keyan Scenic Area, Donghu Lake, and Jianhu Lake. Lu Xun's former residence is only a 5-minute drive away, and Cangqiao Old Street and Qiu Jin's Monument are right across the street. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The views from the window are lovely, and the soundproofing is excellent. The service is attentive, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they were prompt with cleaning during our extended stay!"

"What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a hidden gem. It's tucked away and a bit hard to find, but their service is top-notch. They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. Since we always travel with our furry friend, their pet-friendly policy was a huge deciding factor. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

Adan and Joie at the front desk coordinated all my needs in advance, and the check-in arrangements were impeccable. Upon arrival, I experienced efficient and friendly service. The food and beverage offerings were consistently good, and every staff member was warm and courteous. The entire trip was comfortable and enjoyable, offering excellent value for money. "Traveling with kids, the main goal is to avoid unnecessary detours. The hotel's location is excellent; you can take a Wupeng boat right outside, and it's not far from any of the attractions. It might have been the Qingming holiday, so the breakfast area was quite crowded, but every staff member was very diligent and responsible, and the food was replenished promptly. On the last day, there were probably fewer tourists, and the supervisor at the restaurant's front desk and Sister Xiao Yan even made beautiful yogurts for us. We were very happy ❤️"
