"The hotel left a very good impression. The rooms were clean and new, with modern bathroom facilities that worked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location is convenient for getting to the Stone Forest scenic area. Special mention goes to the nearest little café next door — the food there was absolutely delicious! Overall, a great place to stay in Shilin."

"A genuine mosquito-free garden and a large terrace, with unlimited drinks, snacks, fruit, and tea. Located on a small slope about 100 meters from Torch Square, it offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Every room in the guesthouse has large floor-to-ceiling windows, is simple, bright, clean, and cozy. The overall temperature is between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, very comfortable. You can sit on the terrace and in the first-floor garden and enjoy the blue sky, white clouds, and starry night. There are quite a few restaurants in the village, so ordering takeout is convenient. I heard that long-stay guests can use the guesthouse kitchen. The landlady is very nice. If you like a large outdoor space, you can book this place without hesitation."

"Our room was very spacious and had two toilets which was very convenient for 3 people staying together. There was even a massage chair in the room! The breakfast buffet was great too and there were lots of dishes we could choose from. Overall, we had a great stay!"

"We stopped there on our way from Kunming to Yuanyang to split the trip and to enjoy the silver stone forest. Such a good pick we had by choosing the Mijia Inn! It's located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the silver stone forest entrance (~5km). The rooms are nice, well equipped, clean and the beds comfortable. We even had a balcony with seats to rest in. The common places are also very nice. There is at least one good restaurant nearby (as we only tried this one), along the main road; and a 7/11 equivalent just facing the house. The young lady managing the house speaks English; she's very nice and helpful. Definitely the place to stop when sleeping in Shilin!"

"It’s a great experience to stay in this guesthouse. The owner and his wife are very hospitable and helpful. The shared with me many information on what to do and how to do Stone Forest and Jiuxiang Caves. They also invited me to drink tea with them and happened that time their friends visited them and we had some nice chit chats together. The guesthouse is lovely - nice front entrance and a cute little garden at the back which the room opens to. If you are staying in Shilin, this is a nice guesthouse for your consideration. Very big room - bed is on the hard side (but then I realised this is the case for all the guesthouses and hostels I’ve stayed in China so far). Come with great heater and electric heater for the bed!"

"I originally wanted to book a twin room with a view, but it was no longer available. Ctrip helped coordinate a parent-child room. The view was not so good but it was convenient for a family to live in. The bathroom was very clean and the three plush toys were also clean. You can safely play with your children. There is a small picture book, the master bedroom has air conditioning, but the small bedroom does not, and the quilt is small and thin. Fortunately, there is a blanket, otherwise it will be cold in winter. The master bedroom has a window, but the small bedroom has a window but it cannot be opened, which means there is no window. The toilet seat in the bathroom is broken. Yes, it's wobbly for fear of falling down. The water volume is large and the temperature is suitable for showering. It's very comfortable. Maybe it's because our room is the only one occupied in the building we live in, so the water volume doesn't affect it. In addition, it's a long walk to Shihai Hot Spring. If it's too late, Wearing a bathrobe in the cold will make you feel cold. You can try to ask the hotel to arrange a battery car. If you don’t want to drive a few kilometers away for meals, you can only eat at the hotel’s on-site restaurant. There is no other choice. The supermarket is also a long way away, so it is best to bring the necessary items when you stay in the hotel. I brought everything else with me and there is nothing wrong with me. I will choose this place again next time I go to the hot springs."

"Very good room and cleanliness. Surrounding is very peaceful. It is near to the Stone Forest scenic, around 10rmb by DiDi. The weak point is very little selection of eateries around there as it is in a residential neighbourhood. There is a good & reasonably priced restaurant within walking distance ( 小倩味道）"

"The service attitude of the hotel front desk staff is very good. The room is very spacious and has an unobstructed view. You can see the panoramic view of the stone forest. The light is very good and you can make tea. It is very comfortable to stay. It is worth recommending."

"The room was decorated in a fresh style. It's located in a villa complex near the Stone Forest. The owner was so helpful! We drove there and sent us directions in advance. He took us on a three- to four-hour walk through the Stone Forest, offering free guided tours and visiting areas that regular tour groups wouldn't visit. He also took us lots of beautiful photos. For dinner, he even took us to a local horse meat restaurant, which was delicious and affordable!"
