"It was my family member's birthday during our stay, and the service exceeded our expectations. Someone helped us with our luggage when we checked in and out, and fresh fruit was replenished daily. Our child even received a kite and beach toys. All the towels in the room were disinfected and sealed, which made us feel very at ease using them. I'd like to specially mention Hai Xia Jie and Jing Jing – their service attitude was superb. Hai Xia Jie decorated the room for the birthday, and the swan towel art was incredibly lifelike. Jing Jing thoughtfully sent us a guide to touring Weihai. The moment we checked out, we regretted not booking a few more days!"

"Came to Weihai with friends, and this hotel was a top pick from early on. On the day of check-in, D's service was truly heartwarming. They were incredibly cheerful, with a constant smile during our reception, making them very approachable. Knowing we were tourists, they went out of their way to recommend hidden gems and authentic local eateries, even sharing tips to avoid tourist traps – super thoughtful! After check-in, they also reminded us of important hotel information, showing great attention to detail. Weigao Plaza is right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. Whenever we needed help during our stay, D was always enthusiastic to assist. Their service definitely added a lot to our experience. Overall, the stay was impeccable, and my friends also said they were very satisfied. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!"

"The room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy and quiet retreat. All the facilities were complete and in excellent working order, with the Wi-Fi and hot water being particularly impressive! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weihai!"

"Here's my objective review of this stay. Pros: 1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby. 2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery. 3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it. 4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely. 5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly. 6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier. Cons: 1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews. 2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken. 3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival). 4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub. 5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby."

"This hotel is perfectly situated right next to the famous Huancuilou Park, offering stunning views of the landmark Huancuilou from the room's window. Across the street is Weigao Plaza, a bustling commercial area in Weihai, with a wide variety of restaurants. The location alone gets a perfect score! I booked a 'mini room,' which, as expected, wasn't huge, but it was perfectly comfortable for one person and fully equipped. They even included a lovely complimentary snack, tea bags, and fresh flowers. During both check-in and check-out, the front desk staff I interacted with were all beautiful, gracious ladies. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and always had a lovely smile. Seeing my heavy luggage, a kind and handsome young man with glasses from the front desk immediately offered to help me carry it. He even pushed my suitcase all the way to the hotel entrance after I checked out. All in all, this is a truly excellent and heartwarming hotel! 👍🏻👍🏻"

"I stumbled upon this hotel with a floor-to-ceiling sea-view window room online and immediately fell in love with it. So, I took advantage of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday to visit Weihai. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the actual experience was fantastic! From the hotel's **exterior**, it felt like an older four-star, but once I entered the lobby, the overall impression was very neat, clean, and bright. You could tell that the hotel put effort into maintaining its facilities. The staff were also very enthusiastic, even calling a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and preferences. The **service** was excellent. Since I arrived quite late on the first night, after 10:00 PM in Weihai, I booked a **standard king room** for the first night. It offered a street view, not the sea. The room was quiet and very clean, perfect for a good night's rest. On the second day, around 9:00 AM, we moved to the sea-view room I had been looking forward to. I booked the **Deluxe Sea View Terrace King Room**. The room was still very clean and quiet. The interior decoration was on par with a five-star hotel (though the walls were a bit patchy and could use a repaint). Upon entering, there was a bathtub, and then the super large floor-to-ceiling window and terrace came into view. In front of the window, there was a soft sofa, which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing for drinking tea or coffee – it just made me so happy. The view from the terrace was also stunning; the sea was very clear on sunny days. In the evening, you could watch the sunset from the room. What could be more romantic than that? The **breakfast** restaurant was a sea-view restaurant with a huge floor-to-ceiling window. Outside, there was a trestle bridge, the sea, and seagulls – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it covered most Chinese breakfast essentials, and the taste was good. For a four-star hotel, it was really impressive. The **location** is in Huancui District, not far from attractions like Torch 8th Street. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Downstairs are Jinshatan Beach and the Jinhaiwan Trestle Bridge, where many seagulls hover. The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to the beach, and guests are given an exclusive wristband. For families with children who want to play in the water during summer, it's very convenient – you can go straight back to your room via the elevator to wash up after playing. Overall, the accommodation experience was excellent! Full marks, highly recommended!"

Although I opted for a more budget-friendly room without a sea view (on the 15th floor), the public observation deck offered an equally stunning vista. Watching the sunrise and sunset with the sea breeze blowing made my entire vacation feel so serene. The room was meticulously cleaned daily – fresh slippers, trash emptied, and general tidiness – these small details made me feel incredibly comfortable, like being well cared for by a friend. Just across the street is the beach; I enjoyed leisurely evening strolls along the shore, watching the gentle waves and kids building sandcastles. It was a heartwarming and healing experience. The hotel is also close to Torch Eight Street, making it easy to walk over and capture those vibrant, youthful scenes. What touched me most was the hotel's warm hospitality; the staff's smiling faces made this unfamiliar city feel so welcoming. I will definitely be back, both for this beautiful sea and for the homely comfort this place provided."

"Pros: The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. Cons: First, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and I received no notification from check-in all the way to my room. I was woken up early the next morning by renovation noise. The renovations were happening on floors 18-19, and I was assigned to the 21st floor, which was very noisy. Even after extending my stay and moving to the 25th floor, it was still very loud! All I wanted was to sleep in on my solo trip! Second, in the early morning, the cleaning lady knocked on my door despite the 'do not disturb' light being on. When I asked who it was, she just pushed the door open. Thankfully, I had the security chain on. I was in the shower at the time! I was very angry. She said she was delivering laundry detergent! Excuse me, there's no washing machine in the hotel, why would she be delivering laundry detergent to me?? I wouldn't be doing laundry in the hotel anyway! I didn't even get to sleep in! Third, I thought changing floors would make it quieter, but early in the morning around 6 AM, there was a loud thudding noise from upstairs, like heavy objects being dropped, every few minutes! Then, the renovations started again before 8 AM. Honestly, I stay at this hotel every year when I go to Weihai, but this time the experience was truly awful!"

"My stay at the Atour Hotel Weihai was truly excellent this time around. The location is a huge plus, right next to Happiness Gate, and you can step right out to the sea. It's so convenient for walks and enjoying the sea views, and the night scenery is beautiful too. The hotel overall is clean and tidy, and the room decor is cozy, giving you a sense of quiet comfort and being well looked after. The bedding is super comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The service also deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to details. Amenities were complete, hygiene was spot on, and breakfast was abundant – I usually skip breakfast, but I couldn't resist here! For my two-night, three-day stay, on the second day they even brought four bottles of water and two bottles of honey black tea. That's why I booked two nights in Yantai and five nights in Qingdao. Atour is definitely a brand you can trust."
