They know Covid very well and always follow the advice to keep everyone safe.

I wanted to rest a little while walking on the pilgrimage, and I had work to handle, so I booked a room with a double bed. I checked in at 3 o'clock, but I looked a little busy or there was a vacant room, and I was a little over 9 o'clock and I was allowed to check in without additional money (no Marriott tire) I went up to the room and upgraded to a junior suite with a terrace. I focused and finished my work and rested well There were not many reviews and Korean reviews were difficult to find, so I hesitated, but I think I made a good reservation! Breakfast was 14.3 euros, but I don't know if it's so good value for money, but I'm satisfied that I can solve it comfortably. I rest well!

I booked 2 rooms for one night in accommodation and breakfast with my family. It is located about 500 metres walking from the Temple Fort of Ponferrada and nearby is a public parking where you can leave the car (the whole parking area is blue). I liked the size of the room, the large window of one of the rooms with views of the city, the comfort of beds and coats and breakfast buffet type: with coffee and infusions, natural orange juice, cereals, cooking, toasts, fruit, included .... The minibar was completely empty, although you leave 2 bottles of courtesy water and in my room the video and the reception are next to the bathroom, which has a mamper to enter ...what complicates the thing when the 3 pieces are so fingerprints.

Very nice hotel compared with by default I have just left . The Temple. Very well spoken staff. Quite unusual as I’ve never experienced a hotel without a bar ,although they had a Cafe/bar which was pleasing and simple and a buffet restaurant. Plus underground parking. Rooms very clean very bright. And….. a big and! Everything in the room worked instant hot water. Which I haven’t been used too in another hotel across the road. Food delicious well done for making me feel welcome in an adverse situation. At short notice too,having been stranded in Ponferrada for over a week trying unsuccessfully to repair my motorcycle. Just a point which came to my attention. Corridors very noisy at night. The floors are tiled and sound echoes, Perhaps if the hotel reads this , a one metre wide carpet straight down the middle. Would make a massive difference.

Out of window was a large extraction flume that covered any view of reat hotel. Generally the room was noisy from outside passers-by and cleaners in the am. The hotel is part of the nest door hostel so not sure if we were put in that sort of room or they all are like this. I have stayed in better hostel rooms. Laundry service not provided but you can use the hostels machines. Room was generally tired with fixtures around light switches hanging off and yellow water stains in bath tub.

The hotel is simple. The triple room was very good size and was quiet and clean. The location is perfect, is two steps from the castle and the historic centre of Ponferrada. The hotel staff were very friendly, we reserved the parking place and allowed us to leave the car in the garage until 15:00 p.m., which is when the new guests entered. It was very comfortable, because we could see the city quietly without worrying about the car for nothing.

Los Templarios is just off the Camino down a side street in the old city of Ponferrada and would be easy to miss. On arrival the receptionist spoke good English and was very helpful. The hotel has a lift which is a welcome amenity after dragging a bag up stairs in many hotels along the Camino. Everything seemed very clean. It was pretty cool outside but the room heating was excellent - in fact almost too good in that it heated the room so quickly that I needed to open the window. The only window looked out on an air shaft and was frosted so that it let in very little light. I guess the frosting is because the windows opposite are fairly close but one could always shut the curtain when necessary and let in a bit more light when privacy is not needed. The room was very small with a big twin bed. It was so small that when I opened my suitcase on the floor the door could not be fully opened. The bathroom had a hand held shower over a half size bath with no shower curtain. A sure recipe for disaster and I had managed to soak most of the room by the time I finished showering. My other grumble concerns the keys and key card. There were 2 keys that were almost identical, one for the room and the other for the front door. There was also a sort of key card used to turn on the power that is attached on the same ring. The power turned off immediately that the key card was removed from the slot plunging the room into darkness and presenting a major challenge to get a key (the right key!) into the key hole to unlock the door. There must be a better option - perhaps separate key rings. There isn't much choice of accommodation in the Ponferrada old city so Los Templarios maybe as good as it gets and in the end it is clean with helpful staff so good enough for a night's stay.

The hotel has a lift which is a welcome amenity after dragging a bag up stairs in many hotels along the Camino. Everything seemed very clean. It was pretty cool outside but the room heating was excellent - in fact almost too good in that it heated the room so quickly that I needed to open the window. The only window looked out on an air shaft and was frosted so that it let in very little light. I guess the frosting is because the windows opposite are fairly close but one could always shut the curtain when necessary and let in a bit more light when privacy is not needed. The room was very small with a big twin bed. It was so small that when I opened my suitcase on the floor the door could not be fully opened. The bathroom had a hand held shower over a half size bath with no shower curtain. A sure recipe for disaster and I had managed to soak most of the room by the time I finished showering. My other grumble concerns the keys and key card. There were 2 keys that were almost identical, one for the room and the other for the front door. There was also a sort of key card used to turn on the power that is attached on the same ring. The power turned off immediately that the key card was removed from the slot plunging the room into darkness and presenting a major challenge to get a key (the right key!) into the key hole to unlock the door. There must be a better option - perhaps separate key rings. There isn't much choice of accommodation in the Ponferrada old city so Los Templarios maybe as good as it gets and in the end it is clean with helpful staff so good enough for a night's stay.

The hotel is simple. The triple room was very good size and was quiet and clean. The location is perfect, is two steps from the castle and the historic centre of Ponferrada. It was very comfortable, because we could see the city quietly without worrying about the car for nothing.

It is located about 500 metres walking from the Temple Fort of Ponferrada and nearby is a public parking where you can leave the car (the whole parking area is blue). I liked the size of the room, the large window of one of the rooms with views of the city, the comfort of beds and coats and breakfast buffet type: with coffee and infusions, natural orange juice, cereals, cooking, toasts, fruit, included .... The minibar was completely empty, although you leave 2 bottles of courtesy water and in my room the video and the reception are next to the bathroom, which has a mamper to enter ...what complicates the thing when the 3 pieces are so fingerprints.

A hotel with the charm of the Templars, beautifully decorated and well-preserved. The spacious rooms are equipped with antique furniture. Rest on 10 mattresses. It is close to the center and restaurant area. The surrounding public parking lot is very convenient. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. And it's important! ! ! They know Covid very well and always follow the advice to keep everyone safe.

Very nice hotel compared with by default I have just left . The Temple. Very well spoken staff. Quite unusual as I’ve never experienced a hotel without a bar ,although they had a Cafe/bar which was pleasing and simple and a buffet restaurant. Plus underground parking. Rooms very clean very bright. And….. a big and! Everything in the room worked instant hot water. Which I haven’t been used too in another hotel across the road. Food delicious well done for making me feel welcome in an adverse situation. At short notice too,having been stranded in Ponferrada for over a week trying unsuccessfully to repair my motorcycle. Just a point which came to my attention. Corridors very noisy at night. The floors are tiled and sound echoes, Perhaps if the hotel reads this , a one metre wide carpet straight down the middle. Would make a massive difference.
