We wanted to stay one night in Kehlheim and found the Domero Hotel, a super beautiful hotel located in the middle of the old town. Super beautiful large very clean rooms great bathroom a very, very nice hotel manager and the staff all very friendly and helpful. We will come back and this not only for one night. Very recommended.

Meine Frau und ich machen viele Kurzreisen. So waren wir im Sept. 2023 für 4 Nächte im Hotel Monarch, mit einem Arrangement 2x HP, 2x Candle-Ligth-Dinner. Positiv waren der Außen- und Innenpool. Es war richtig warm, so dass wir im Außenpool baden konnten. Es gab aber auch negative Punkte, die in einem 4 * S. nicht sein dürften. Eigentlich halten wir es so, die Geschäftsleitung auf Mängel hinzuweisen und nicht gleich mittelmäßige oder schlechte Bewertungen im Netz abzugeben. So taten wir es auch hier. Wir haben 2 Mitglieder der Geschäftsleitung jeweils persönlich mit Einschreiben/Rückschein angeschrieben. Da wir nach über 4 Wochen absolut keine Resonanz erfahren haben, teilen wir unsere Erfahrungen nun doch im Netz mit. Über die Ignoranz und Arroganz dieser beiden Herrschaften kann man sich nur wundern. Am 1. Abend haben wir das Buffett gehabt. Wir haben uns einen Fensterplatz gesucht, um ein wenig Frischluft zu haben. In den Fenstern waren Fliegengitter, super! Wenn sie denn auch sauber gemacht werden würden, es klebten zig tote Insekten daran. Nicht schön!!!! Im Zimmer lagen Bademäntel der Größe L zu unserer Verfügung. Wir hätten XL benötigt, gab es nicht. Schlecht!! Keinen Kühlschrank im 4 * S Hotel. Schlecht!! Die Zimmer selbst waren hart an der Grenze, ziemlich abgewohnt, halt sanierungsbedürftig. Frühstück mittelprächtig, es gab keinen einzigen Salat, Fleischsalat, Eiersalat, Heringssalat etc., Wir haben uns dann auf ein Spiegelei gefreut. Leider war es eiskalt. Daraufhin frische, heiße Spiegeleier bestellt. Es kamen dieselben Spiegeleier ”tot gebraten” zurück. Wir verlangten neue, heiße Spiegeleier. Auskunft der Bedienung: Eier sind aus!!! 1 1/4 Stunden vor Ende der Frühstückszeit. Die Auffüllung des Frühstücksbuffet erfolgte auch nur sehr zaghaft und zögerlich. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir es noch einmal versucht heiße Spiegeleier zu bekommen. Wir bestellten Sie bei der Bedienung. Auskunft: Ich weiß nicht, ob es heute Spiegeleier gibt?? 4 * S Hotel ???? Um sein Brötchen mit einem scharfen Messer aufzuschneiden, musste man sich in einer Schlange anstellen. Warum keine scharfen Messer in den Brotkörben?? Zimmerreinigung 0 *. Als wir um Uhr 16:30 auf das Zimmer kamen, fanden wir zwei schmutzige Gläser im Bad sowie 2 schmutzige Gläser im Zimmer vor. Wir haben unverzüglich neue Gläser geordert. Spiegeleier haben am nächsten Tag auch nicht funktioniert. Liegen gelassen. Den letzten Morgen haben wir darauf ganz verzichtet. Ist vielleicht Taktik des Managements!! Beim 2. Candle-Light-Dinner gab es das gleiche Schweinefilet, wie beim Buffet. Qualität beim 2. Mal mittelprächtig. Stolze Kurse für das Parkhaus. Es gab nur eine Handvoll kostenfreie Parkplätze. Für uns ist klar, nie wieder The Monarch Hotel.
