Rukhad Jungle Camp

"My wife and I recently went to Pench National Park. After doing our safaris in Sillari an d Khursapur gates, we finally reached this place for two nights stay. Right from the planning phase, Jungle Camp folks have been really excellent. Mr. Sandeep helped me reservations and detailed me on what to expect and what not and also patiently clarified all my doubts. When I reached Bison Resort in my vehicle, I was warmly greeted by all staff, especially Mohit & Rohit. They explained to me about the property and then after the welcome drink, we were taken to the resort in their Safari Vehicle which is inside the Rukhad Buffer Zone (Only authorized vehicles are permitted into the forest and private vehicles will have to be parked in Bison Retreat. We had booked a room in Jal Mahal and we absolutely loved the property. Food and Snacks were delivered directly to our room, though Mohit offered to drive us back to the resort whenever required. We wanted to spend as much time in the resort and hence decided to have all meals in the room itself. The first day, we watched a lot of birds and we enjoyed listening to the nature's sound. Next day morning, we got very lucky. A tiger walked close to the property. It was preceeded by the "calls" from deers and Langoors and so we were ready on top of the Machan next to the room. Within no time, the tiger appeared and we were absolutely thrilled. We saw more wild animals on that day and also on the third day. This place is the best in terms of comfort and service and at the same time being within the jungle. The food was fantastic and at some point we had to plead with them to reduce the quantity of food they were sending us. Mohit and Rohit took utmost care and came and visited us on all days to ensure that we were being taken care of and to ensure our stay was progressing well. If you need a great comfortable place to in the middle of jungle and get the experience, this is it. But please remember, this is a jungle and they are trying to do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This is not a Marriott 5 Star hotel. 1) There could be minor power fluctuations (backup comes up in few seconds) 2) Movement restricted only in the room and for a few feet outside the room, you cannot walk around as you please. 3) Wildlife can come very close to your room also. You need to stay alert"
