"We stayed here for one night, and while the setting is undeniably beautiful with mountains and the river right in front, the overall experience did not live up to the high price tag — this was the most expensive hotel of our trip but not necessarily the best. To begin with, the Wi-Fi was down and only came back online about four hours after we checked in. This was particularly inconvenient given that mobile connectivity is practically non-existent in the area. The rooms (we stayed in the King Deluxe category) were clean but felt small, and unfortunately, there were workers stationed right in front of our rooms, which took away from the experience. The riverfront chalets looked much nicer, but they were already booked out by the time we made our reservation. Another downside was the number of flies — they were everywhere, including in the rooms and in the restaurant, which was quite annoying. One unique feature of the property is that they switch off all lights at 11 p.m. for star gazing, which is a wonderful idea and the night skies without light pollution were incredible to see. However, we were not informed of this beforehand and only found out when we called reception to report a power cut. This should be clearly displayed or explained to guests at check-in. On the positive side, the views really are stunning, and that’s the one big highlight of the stay. For a single night, it was okay, but overall it felt far too expensive for what we got. We much preferred their sister property, Rihla Hunza, which offered a far better experience."

"Το όμορφο μικρό καλεσμένο σπίτι που διοικείται από τοπική οικογένεια (Akhtar, γιος και σύζυγος) με σύγχρονα δωμάτια με μεγάλη τιμή, όμορφο κήπο και βρίσκεται στο κύριο Σκάρντου. Είναι σχετικά νέα (πιθανώς το 4ο ή το 5ο έτος), αλλά έχουν καταβάλει μεγάλες προσπάθειες και παρουσιάζει σχεδόν τα πάντα. Οι περισσότερες ημέρες της σεζόν είναι πλήρως κρατημένες, οπότε καλύτερα να προκαταγράψουν (σε απευθείας σύνδεση ή στο τηλέφωνο) μερικές μέρες πριν από την άφιξή τους. Προσφέρουν σπίτι μαγειρεμένο τοπικό κουζίνα (κατά την αίτηση) και ακόμη και να σας επιλέγουν συμπληρωματικά κεράσια από τα δικά τους κεράσια (και κεράσια, αλλά δεν το είχαμε). Ο κήπος τους είναι ένα όμορφο μέρος για να καθίσουν και να φάγουν, πρωινό, τσάι κ.λπ. και ακόμη και να έχει μια μικρή φάρμα (αιγοπρόβατα, κοτόπουλα) σε ένα άκρο. Η 5-star για τα παραπάνω, ωστόσο, θα ήταν πιο έμφαση στην καθαρότητα της 1ης οροφής καθημένων/δωμάτιων και στην καθαριότητα/κοπών γρασίδι στον κήπο θα έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμη καλύτερη."
