"Emeishan Grand Hotel: A Real Stay Review | Excellent Service, Great Value, but Hardware Needs an Upgrade We chose the Emeishan Grand Hotel for our family trip to Mount Emei. Overall, it offered good value for money, with both clear strengths and weaknesses. Here's an objective review for your reference! First and foremost, I must highly commend the butler service – truly exceptional and thoughtful! Even before we arrived, our dedicated butler proactively contacted us via WeChat, sending us a comprehensive travel guide for Mount Emei. They also arranged pick-up from the high-speed rail station. Upon arrival, our luggage was directly delivered to our room, making the entire process effortless and incredibly convenient. The service experience far exceeded our expectations – truly attentive and heartwarming. The location is superb! The hotel is diagonally opposite the Emeishan Scenic Area Passenger Transport Center, so you can catch a bus up the mountain right outside. There are also plenty of local specialty restaurants and snacks nearby, making both transportation and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel is a well-established four-star property and even offers intangible cultural heritage craft experiences, which are perfect for families with children. Our child had a wonderful time. The two most satisfying highlights were the hot springs and breakfast! The hotel has its own natural hot springs with excellent water quality and multiple pools. Children can splash and play to their heart's content – a fantastic experience. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, clearly meeting the high standards of a large hotel catering to groups. There was a wide variety of options, including authentic local Chengdu snacks like Bobo Chicken and Qiaojiao Beef Noodles, all with genuine flavors. The dining experience was excellent. However, there were also two clear shortcomings that significantly impacted our rest: 1. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, especially the room carpets, which had a strong odor. On the first night, we were given a north-facing room with no sunlight, and the carpet smell was pungent, making it hard to sleep. After extending our stay and moving to a higher-floor king room on the second day, the smell improved. I suggest the hotel urgently replace the old carpets and renovate the hardware facilities. 2. The soundproofing of the windows was poor. Even after moving to a better room, there was a persistent dripping or similar noise from outside the window throughout the night, lasting until past 1 AM. This severely affected our sleep and rest. We had hoped to relax after climbing the mountain, but we didn't get a good night's sleep either night, which was quite disappointing. Overall: The service, location, hot springs, and breakfast were all impeccable, and our child particularly loved the family-friendly activities. However, the aging hardware, carpet odor, and soundproofing issues need urgent optimization. If the hardware can be renovated and upgraded, it would definitely be the top choice for accommodation in Mount Emei! Overall, it's still recommendable, and we look forward to the hotel's future improvements."

The hotel offers a comprehensive range of amenities, including courtyards, guest rooms, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a cafe. Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and excellently maintained. Cleanliness: The indoor areas are spotless. Despite being in a mountainous area, there wasn't a single mosquito. Environment: The environment is beautiful, with stunning views at every turn. Service: The service, from the front desk to the restaurant, was incredibly thoughtful. They helped with luggage and were especially attentive to our children."

"The Yoga Hot Spring Hotel is part of the Emeishan Grand Hotel, bear this in mind if you are requesting the pick up service. Someone is waiting when you get off the train with the hotel sign, it does not say Yoga Hot Springs Hotel. The shuttle to the hotel was smooth and the staff was very helpful during check in. The place is huge. The room we had was a nice size and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very impressive."

"Extremely satisfied with our trip! This hotel offers incredible value for money. We originally booked a Roman-themed room, but we arrived quite early, and our room wasn't ready yet. A staff member at the front desk named Wu Yujia kindly upgraded us to a balcony king room in the main building. She even added us on WeChat to keep us informed about the hotel's activity schedule and other details. The room was quite spacious. Although the hotel facilities looked a bit dated, they paid great attention to details; even the toothbrushes were of good quality, not the cheap kind. Just a heads-up: the outdoor hot springs only open after 1:30 PM. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient. From 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the restaurant also offers a late-night snack service – very thoughtful! We accidentally left our child's swimsuit in the changing room, and they were kind enough to keep it safe for us. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir. Overall, a very satisfying stay. The breakfast also featured Leshan's local specialties like tofu pudding and 'ka bing' (a type of flatbread)."

"A very good hotel. I was surprised to find such a hotel in Leshan. Although it is a little far from the old city, the surrounding business is very mature. There is Wanda Plaza, and it takes only 20 minutes to drive to the old city. It is suitable for friends who drive by themselves. The parking lot is also very clean and spacious. The hotel hardware is very new, the decoration style is French, and the bedding and bathroom products are very good. The only regret is that the TV in such a new hotel cannot be projected, which is a bit outdated. However, the flaws do not outweigh the merits. I will stay here again next time I come to Leshan."

"My stay at the Banyan Tree Emeishan was excellent, and I'd like to share my honest impressions. First, before check-in, my butler, Serena, proactively contacted me and upgraded my reserved mountain view room to a courtyard retreat – a truly delightful upgrade. Upon arriving at the room, my first impression was how thoughtfully the amenities were designed. There was a covered outdoor hot spring pool, clean and safe, with 24-hour hot spring access and adjustable water temperature. Indoors, there was a deep soaking tub, and the shower even had a stone bench where you could sit and shower – perfect for a relaxing shower after a long hike up Emeishan. Between the bathroom and bedroom was a private courtyard, where natural light streamed in, creating beautiful play of light and shadow. The courtyard also offered excellent privacy, completely shielded by vegetation, making soaking in the hot spring incredibly relaxing. As for the room's comfort, although it's a new hotel, there was absolutely no smell of renovation, which is rare. The bedding was incredibly soft against the skin, and the buckwheat pillows were especially comfortable; even though I usually have trouble sleeping in new beds, I slept soundly that night. When they turned down the bed, they used Banyan Tree's sweet orange essential oil. The scent was subtle, sweet, and very soothing, instantly calming the entire atmosphere. The hotel's public areas are beautiful, with an overall Chinese style. The pavilions, terraces, and play of light and shadow are tastefully arranged, making every stroll a delightful experience. Regarding transportation, there's a shuttle service from the high-speed rail station, making it convenient to just get on the bus. The hotel is spacious, but the shuttle is readily available, making it easy to get to the restaurants and lobby. The breakfast deserves special mention. There was a wide variety of local specialties, as well as freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. You choose your fruits or vegetables on-site, and the staff will make the juice. I especially loved the cantaloupe juice—it was so satisfying! Finally, I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Serena. From pre-trip itinerary suggestions to various arrangements during our stay, she was incredibly attentive and responsive, saving us a lot of trouble these past few days. The excellent service staff greatly enhanced the overall experience. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and have already recommended it to friends. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Emei Mountain."

It's located near Shenshui Pavilion on the slopes of Mount Emei, allowing you to sleep with the mountains and live with the breeze. My friends mentioned that on clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the Golden Summit from the courtyard. You can walk to Shenshui Pavilion and Zhongfeng Temple, and within 10 minutes, you can enjoy a sip of fresh mountain spring water – it’s incredibly peaceful and therapeutic. The beds are comfortable, and you're embraced by the gentle mountain breeze as you lie down. The courtyard is spacious and elegant, featuring a small tea garden that adds to the interactive experience. There’s also a photogenic cafe and tea space where you can enjoy tea, take photos, or simply relax. The food is delicious, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and serene, making it perfect for family vacations or gatherings with friends. I'm already planning to bring my team here for our next team-building retreat!"
