"I had an excellent stay at a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof from June 21 to June 22. The internal organization of the hostel is impressive: everything runs smoothly, the rooms are clean, and the staff are always ready to help. I especially want to highlight the bartender Dan. I arrived at the same time as another guest from Pennsylvania, and for a moment there was no one at the front desk. Our self check‑in didn’t work for some reason, but Dan immediately noticed us, came over, and helped both of us check in. He also explained all the useful details about the hostel and how everything works. His attitude was genuinely helpful — he clearly cares about the guests. Another great feature is the luggage room. My bus was many hours after check‑out, so being able to leave my bags safely allowed me to enjoy more time walking around beautiful Vienna. The bus stop is very close to the hostel, which makes the location especially convenient. I simply picked up my luggage and walked straight to my bus without any stress. Thank you for your hospitality. I will continue choosing a&o in the future. I also noticed in the lobby that you have multiple locations across Europe — great news. I look forward to staying with a&o again."

"I'm a solo female traveler currently on a European trip! Here's my honest feedback, broken down into pros and cons: ✅ Pros * I had a single bed for myself, and for 90,000 KRW (approx. 90 EUR) a night, the facilities were spotlessly clean, like a new hotel, and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, no water stains, and the bedding was fresh and clean. * They provided two extra towels and a bathmat in the room. Shampoo and body wash were also stocked in the bathroom, which was convenient for showering. * There's a small fridge in the room, perfect for chilling water. It gets super cold! (Tip: Water at the hotel costs over 3 Euros, and nearby supermarkets close early, so stock up on water from a supermarket during the day.) * The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the subway station. St. Stephen's Cathedral and popular restaurants are a 15-minute subway ride away, or a 30-minute walk if you want some exercise. Excellent accessibility! ✅ Cons * For those arriving at night, especially solo female travelers, the walk to the hotel involves navigating through several alleys, which can feel a bit scary. I was so scared when I arrived at night that I ran. * You have to open the door with a key, and it's a bit tricky. I struggled with the key for a while, and I could hear other guests in the hallway struggling too, constantly inserting and removing their keys. (Tip: When opening the door, insert the key and turn it until it clicks all the way.) * My window faced the garden. I was woken up at 4 AM by birds chirping, and from 5 AM, I could smell cigarette smoke wafting in through the window, presumably from guests smoking in the garden. I couldn't sleep after that. Make sure to keep your windows tightly closed. * There's no air conditioning. Instead, there's a very large ceiling fan, like a light fixture, that spins. I was surprised by how strong the breeze was. However, the whirring sound of the fan is a bit annoying. Also, if it's hot and you lie down to use your phone with the fan on, the direct blast of air immediately makes your eyes dry and sore. * The room only has standard two-prong outlets (for 'pig nose' plugs) and no USB charging ports or outlets for cable adapters. So, bring your own two-prong adapter and a multi-port charger for various cables if you need to charge multiple devices."

"This hotel located in residential area. Walked from the train station about 10-13 minutes. Which was quite, I had a good night sleep. Near by local café and a supermarket and restaurants. Less than 5 minutes was a tram station which I took it everyday to the attractions and connected to the metro. It seemed to me this hotel pretty new. Well maintained, room was decent size and the best part it came with 2 cushion chairs and side table. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Funny thing the check out day only took me 6 minutes walked from the hotel to the train station. I will recommended."

Most importantly, the location was excellent. A tram passes right in front of the accommodation, making transportation incredibly convenient. I frequently used public transport to get around the tourist attractions in Vienna, and being able to access the tram directly from the hotel meant there was almost no burden regarding travel. It was easy to get to major attractions, and after a full day of sightseeing, it was nice to return to the hotel without difficulty. The room generally felt newly built, and the furniture and facilities were neatly arranged. Above all, the cleanliness was very satisfying. The bedding and the room's interior were kept clean, and the bathroom and kitchen were also tidy, allowing for comfortable use. There were also facilities to prepare meals directly in the accommodation, which was great for making simple food during the trip. Vienna has many places to visit, so after a full day of exploring, it's important to rest comfortably at the accommodation. This place was clean and pleasant, making it great for relaxing after a trip. Considering the location, cleanliness, and overall room condition, it was a highly satisfactory accommodation. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while using public transport in Vienna. Especially, the fact that a tram runs right in front of the accommodation was a huge advantage, and the room was as clean as new, allowing for a pleasant stay throughout the trip. If I visit Vienna again, this is a place I'd want to stay at once more."

"A beautiful design hotel in a convenient location on the main shopping street. Metro U3 and U6 opposite the hotel entrance, there is a 60-way tram stop to Shenbrunn. Very quiet and clean. A beautiful interior courtyard where it is nice to sit with drinks. A beautiful salmon breakfast, white fish, very delicious shacks. Coffee is cooked on order, it was great to start the day with a glass of coffee."
