"The place was spotless, not even a speck of dust on the desk. I liked that you take your shoes off at the entrance, and the bathroom shower had a flexible hose-type showerhead instead of a fixed rain shower, which made showering very comfortable. It was great to be able to communicate quickly with the host! They even stored our luggage. It's a great place to stay!"

"I stayed in an 8-person dormitory room. Each bed has an electrical outlet. The lockers are small, and guests need to bring their own padlocks. The room is accessed via a code. Towels are not provided for rent. There are no bed curtains. Wi-Fi is not strong but it connects. The staff are kind but provide minimal service. Toilets and showers are in the common area and are separate. The kitchen and common area are a bit small. Overall, it was clean, so I had no particular inconvenience during my one-night stay. Considering the cost of living in Toronto, it's understandable, but I thought it could be a little cheaper. It's also a bit far from the city center."

"Great: 1. Unbeatable location. That stretch of Bloor St W has restaurants, coffee shops, used bookstores (my favorite!), and more. Subway station, streetcars, and a Bike Share Toronto hub just around the corner. Christie Pits park nearby. Incredibly walkable. 2. Clean room and useful amenities. Love that slippers were available from the amenities closet. (Slippers seem to be common in hotels in Asia, so I was delighted to find them here.) 2. Responsive customer service. My room had a small issue (intermittent loud buzzing sound of mysterious origin in the night). When I raised this with the Nomas WhatsApp number, Umesh was responsive and offered to move me into a different room. Thankfully the sound eventually vanished after a couple nights! I have no opinion on: 1. Bellis. I didn't eat at the Bellis bar (mainly because I wanted to check out the other offerings nearby). 2. Lockers. I didn't try the lockers, but they looked useful. I saw someone describe this hotel along the lines of ”it's a bar with hallways and rooms.” Isn't that what all hotels are, ultimately? Could be better: 1. My room was near the washrooms for the bar. At night, shrieky bar customers would congregate near the washrooms to chat. Had to get up to shut the soundproofing hallway door a couple of times. Not too big of a deal because the soundproofing is effective. I'd definitely stay here again!"

"This is like a oasis in a desert of sand or the hookies. Checked in at 11pm still found it very peaceful and quite place. Felt welcome and had a good nights sleep.. all the area is surrounded by ******* people walking on the streets."

"Front desk staff were very good. Room was okay, had a weird musty smell probably because of the carpet. Mattress on bed was horrible definitely needs to be replaced. Overall it was just okay. The location was perfect for my needs."

"The location is terrific and very convenient. The iconic landmarks are all within about half an hour's walk. Simple breakfast is provided daily. There are separate sections for working or socialising which are good. Only setback is that it can be quite disruptive if you are a light sleeper. Noises are inevitable given all pods are in the same space."

"The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the airport and Park & Fly. However, the hotel is in need of better maintenance. Many of the furnishings look old and worn out. The cleanliness was very disappointing—the bed, desk chair, and bathroom were not clean and did not seem properly prepared for guests. We booked the room for four people (two adults and two children), but there were not enough towels provided for everyone. Overall, the location is good, but the cleanliness and upkeep need significant improvement."

"Good location in Etobicoke close to Ikea and everything you need, free parking, the room floors didn't seemed to be cleaned well but other than that everything else was good. One of the cheaper accommodations in the area, our room's access was outside so easy to get to your vehicle."
