"No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room."

"The pool in the complex was closed, and the playground was tiny. The concept of the facilities on the elevated floor was great, but they were effectively just for show. With only two elevators per building, they were nowhere near enough during peak season. It's about a ten-minute walk to Silver Beach and half an hour to the market. There are convenience stores and restaurants in the complex's shops, so daily life is quite convenient. There were cockroaches in the apartment, but I guess that's hard to avoid in southern cities."

"We had a room on the 30th floor. They initially gave us a different one, but I booked one with a bathtub, so I insisted on the upgrade. The room was simply wonderful, beautiful, with a sea view! The receptionist was a sweet girl, she helped us with all our questions, even without knowing any languages; the translator was a lifesaver. The only downside was the dirty floors, even upon check-in. Everything else was just great; if I ever return to Beihai, I'll definitely stay here!"

I was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself. The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

The front desk service is very good, enthusiastic, and helps with travel transportation. The room is new, the apartment facilities are good and quiet, and the community is very new. I mainly went to the mangrove forest to play, and went to the nearby Binhai International Wetland Park to play in the sea, play on the mudflats, and take pictures. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the homestay. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi from the homestay to Silver Beach. There is a canteen in the community, which is in a leisure activity center. You can go there for a walk. There is a pool.

The room was clean and tidy, just like in the photos and promotional videos. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Great value for money. You can rent electric scooters to tour the island. The owner was incredibly warm and generous, offering excellent shuttle service and lots of practical sightseeing advice. They also offer seafood preparation services at a fair price, and the stir-fried dishes were generously portioned. We bought some seafood back and enjoyed it with drinks in their courtyard – a truly wonderful experience.

It’s a perfect spot for visiting Beihai. You get amazing value for money. Quality room and a lot of space too , as well as a great location close to shops and railway station. Beach isn’t close but it’s easy to reach with DiDi. No issues with getting around town either. Great power shower, good a/c , bed is comfy, and the soundproofing works! A negative is SMOKING! Even though it’s covered in no smoking signs it still happens. Rooms can fill with smell of next door smoking or some ignoramus walking along the corridor puffing away. It’s an issue for most hotels due to the high number of smokers in China, but if they enforced fines consistently then maybe it would stop more doing it. Having said that , I still use City Comfort because the POSITIVES massively outweigh that single negative. No frills. Just delivers on quality at a value price with good staff.

I came to Weizhou Island for a day trip alone. This hotel is great. The owner personally went to the pier to pick me up. Thumbs up to the owner! The hotel also offers electric bike rentals at affordable prices. The bikes can be ridden very fast and it’s so cool to take a ride on the beach! The boss is a local of Weizhou Island. He can also give you a guide to check in around the island. You can check in the scenic spots according to the guide. If you don’t understand, you can ask the boss I bought a double room, but the boss changed it to a king-size room when he saw I was alone. The bed was really big, and the space was also large. It felt like it was almost 30 square meters. Surrounded by fields, it was quiet at night. Weizhou Island is so beautiful!

A family of 6 people traveled. The boss and the boss's wife were young handsome men and beautiful women, very enthusiastic. The courtyard was also very warm. There was a big jackfruit tree in the yard, full of jackfruits, but unfortunately they were not ripe yet. The boss said that they were all for the guests to eat. However, the boss gave us bananas. The bananas on the island were so delicious. There was a special kitchen in the courtyard. There were three handsome guys processing seafood. Their skills were impeccable. We ate there for two days. Both the processed seafood and the stir-fried dishes were so delicious. Even my elderly parents praised them. After getting off the island, they were still saying that the dishes in the courtyard were delicious. When we left, the boss gave us bananas and mangoes. He was so enthusiastic. My parents and sister liked them very much. The courtyard is only 500 meters away from the beach and a few minutes' ride from Nanwan. It is also convenient to buy seafood. When we go to buy seafood, the boss directly lends us his electric bike to ride, and we can stay at his house when we go again.

I booked the Caiwei room, which was quite good in all aspects. I went there during the off-season, and I was satisfied with the price. The boss was easy to talk to, and it was quite close to Beihai Silver Beach. Other reviews said there were mosquitoes, and there were indeed, but I turned on the air conditioner and lit mosquito coils, so I was not bothered by mosquitoes when I slept.
