"For the location, we didn’t mind the overall quality being perhaps a little lower than we would have liked. For example, there were a couple of bugs in the room at various points (not bed bugs), no early check in available and to use the shared bathroom you had to take a card to turn on the lights. Also note - it’s a hotel that asks you to leave your key at reception when you go out which is worth bearing in mind if that’s not something you’re comfortable with. Just little things that were made up for by the near central location (walkable to the acropolis and more), price, fridge and sink in room, and friendly staff."

"The hotel room is not big, but the location is very convenient for travel. When you go out from the left-hand corner and turn right, you will find the subway station. There are also several restaurants, which are quite lively. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old site of the University of Athens and 20 minutes to the Syntagma Square."

"Amazing location. A couple minute walk from Monastiraki metro station. A short walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis museum. Stayed in single room, with private bathroom and balcony. Check in was quick. I arrived early so left my luggage in coin lockers for the morning. Room was clean, shower was good (hot water and strong) Bed was good. Pillows were just ok. Balcony overlooking the alley was nice. Can sit out there and people watch. There's a common area across the alley in the main building. Only cons were - no hairdryer, no toiletries, and the doors are loud when they close. So if someone comes in late or leaves early the doors can wake u up. Some street noise of people talking but not bad. I recommend staying there and would stay there again. l"

"Service: The staff I encountered were all quite good. The younger ones had good English, and the older ones were friendly and smiled warmly. 5/5 stars. Cleanliness: Very clean. There was a Cameroonian lady who spoke French, which was a plus! The room and bathroom were well-maintained and the air was fresh. Environment: I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm. When there were a lot of guys, the snoring was constant, sometimes even a duet! On the last of my three nights, there were three girls, which was better. The beds were sturdy with good privacy curtains. As for roommates, it's really a matter of luck! But it's good value for money, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the subway, so transportation is convenient. 😂"

BBazillionTruly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay! Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.

GGuest UserThe apartment is beautifully furnished, very clean, and located in an excellent, walkable area of Koukaki. Overall, the quality of the flat itself was very high, and we enjoyed our stay. We also really appreciated being allowed to check in two hours earlier than the official time, which was extremely helpful after an early flight. A few aspects of communication and practical arrangements could be improved to make the experience more seamless. After booking, an additional online check-in was requested by a management agency, but the webpage was not working properly and caused some unnecessary stress, as it was unclear whether this might affect access to the property. Clear reassurance in such cases would be very helpful. It would also be good to clarify in the listing that the bedroom and living room are essentially open-plan, without a separating door, as this affects privacy and noise, especially for families. Additionally, the hot water system did not always provide enough hot water for more than one shower in a row. Finally, clearer instructions and more consistent communication regarding the safe and key return process would reduce anxiety for guests. Despite these points, the apartment itself is of excellent quality, and with improved communication, the overall experience could be outstanding

GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the food was genuinely impressive with good variety and taste. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The only thing I missed was having Type‑C charging ports in the room, which would have made things more convenient. However, the team provided a charger immediately when I requested one, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. Would happily stay again.

GGuest UserThe man at the reception desk on the day of my arrival was very kind and gave me a lot of useful information. The room size, facilities, and amenities are all basic, so you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and other personal items. The shower space being a bit cramped was a minor concern, but it's perfectly fine if you're a solo traveler looking to save money. I could see the Acropolis from the hotel's 6th floor.

JJponthemoveWe got an upgrade to a bigger room which was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a free street parking in front of the hotel. Many restaurants and shops in a walking distance from the hotel. Very close to the port to take the ferry to any island. The only negative thing we found was that we can hear the disturbing noise from the street and the walkway in front of the room almost all night.

UUliana__The hostel is located 15 minutes from the Monastiraki metro station. The hostel provides a shuttle bus to the airport, it needs to be booked a day in advance. The hostel itself occupies the entire entrance to the roof. There is a bar on the roof and a large terrace on all sides of the building. They remove badly. The hostel is dirty, no one really cleaned the showers, only the garbage will be taken out and the floor will be wiped. The bed linen has already been made, only sheets from the blanket. From the air conditioner and the window was blowing, there was nothing to hide. The pillows are very uncomfortable and damp. Slept without a pillow and ended up wearing a sweatshirt. The room was large, but crowded with beds. I don’t know why it happened, my neighbors from the USA and Australia practically didn’t go anywhere and generally stayed in the room all day. They fell asleep and vomited. Why the stench in the room was incredible from sweat, stuffiness, vomit. The shower bath is always stuffy and damp, there is a small window. Drawers for things are located right next to the shower door, which makes it very inconvenient to use them, they are far from the beds. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, I had a fumigator with me, it helped. All night people went back and forth, I practically did not sleep, every day I was broken. They give you a free shot upon check-in. Prices at the bar are moderate, aperol and mojito for 8 euros. The breakfast is rich, there are eggs and fruits, bread, jam and oatmeal, payment at the bar on the same floor. Free drinking water at the bar, it's convenient to fill the bottle. It was unpleasant to be in the room, so after sightseeing I sat in the lounge area, where the kitchen is. Worked there, wi-fi catches well. You can order dinner in the kitchen, I have never taken it, but I saw it, they say that it is tasty and convenient, you don’t have to go anywhere. They rent towels. The area itself is located somewhere in the backyard, it’s very scary to walk in the evening, there are only construction sites, abandoned buildings, parking lots and Pakistani-Indian establishments around. There are no women walking around the area at all. The photo is a view from the roof.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around. I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting. Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay

GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind. However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts. And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well. But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
