"It's a cute place, very simple. Staff was helpful, and we checked in quickly. They let us check in a bit early, as soon as the room was ready which was nice. Not much going on in terms of the room itself. Nice bed, average bathroom, but the outside small patio area for each room is a nice touch. *Picture is not from the hotel"

"The staff really do make this place. I arrived to the sister hostel by mistake and they had a staff member collect me and carry my rucksack for me, fantastic service after travelling in from boat. Hostess very polite and welcoming. Youngest staff member very funny and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay A very well air conditioned common area that led to a kitchen that had snacks and basic food completely complimentary. A nice touch for no extras charge. You can hear music from the beach clubs in the distance but you are far enough out that it’s peaceful and away from the chaos of phiphi main strip. If I’m ever back on the island I know exactly where I’d stay. Thank you. t"

"Traveling with two adults and two children, I booked this place quite late, and given the general price hikes around Chinese New Year, there weren't many options, so I chose this one. The location is convenient, and the cleanliness is acceptable. The room only had four beds and four bath towels, with two small bottles each of disposable shampoo and shower gel – nothing else. For 500 RMB for four people during Chinese New Year, it was okay. The listing stated no children allowed, but after emailing the hotel, they confirmed children are welcome, and their email reply was quite fast."

"Such a lovely hotel, clean, a little boujie, huge smart tv with Netflix which is a bonus when needed a few chill days travelling. The bed was sooo comfy and you got 2 pillows each!!! Location was perfect! Only downfall would be no pool but there is sea at every edge of the island 5 min walk so it didn’t matter. Ended up extending 2 nights as we loved it so much"

"A small hotel with a convenient location. The room lacked mugs for tea, there were only 2 glasses. There's a kettle and a drying rack for clothes. Shampoo and shower gel are only provided at check-in, but towels were changed daily. They only provide 2 brown towels and one for your feet. There's no convenient place to wash sand off your feet before entering the room. The bedding is decent, with two pillows per person. Some pillows are firm, some are soft. We didn't even turn on the TV, as we only slept in the room. The hotel grounds could use more greenery to be more visually appealing. For the price, it's probably an okay hotel. We used the pool once when we arrived before check-in. We were checked in strictly after 2 PM."

"Located just a few minutes' walk from Tonsai Pier, tucked away in a small alley, the hostel is next to a bar, though you can hear a bit of noise at night. They offer free coffee, water, bananas, cookies, and toast. Breakfast is a simple option for those who aren't picky. The women's rooms are on the second floor, each with a separate access card, so security is not an issue. The blackout curtains are very effective at blocking out light, so you can leave your own light on without disturbing others. The beds are large, and there are lockers and safes for luggage. Hair dryers are also provided. The toilet and shower are inside the room, separated by a door, so showering late won't disturb others. Air conditioning is on all day. My only regret is the lack of a drying area and the absence of air conditioning in the common area/lounge; you have to go inside the room to use the air conditioning. Otherwise, it's perfect, and the staff are very friendly! I highly recommend this place."

"The hotel is about 1 km from the pier, located on a hill. The view is absolutely stunning! There's a lift for luggage. Someone mentioned having to carry their bags up the stairs, but my luggage was taken up by the lift. The bungalows are like rustic cottages, nothing fancy. It's basic but gets the job done. The climb up is definitely not easy, but the beautiful view makes up for it. There's also a family of macaques living nearby. Overall, it's a good option for young, unpretentious travelers looking for good value for a few days."
