"The hotel's location is definitely a big plus, very convenient for getting around, everything is within walking distance. Even though the hotel is old, it's been renovated and feels pretty good. It's also a popular pick-up point for many day tours, and the price is reasonable."

"This was a clean and comfortable hotel! They had all the basic amenities like towels, a hairdryer, and shampoo, plus tea and coffee. The location was incredibly convenient; it was great to be able to walk back in just 5-10 minutes after shopping or spending time at a cafe. The reception staff were very kind; in my case, even though it was before the official check-in time, they let me into my room because it was ready. I felt they offered excellent service for the price in Melbourne. I'd definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Melbourne!"

"👍 The Ibis Melbourne Central Hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's super convenient for transport, being so close to the central station and all the major attractions. "The shampoo smells like Chinese 5-spice, which is a good thing! Wish the scent was duplicated with other amenities but the current scents are nice complements to the shampoo. Friends say I smell good! 😊 Rooms are small but sink is one of the deepest ever encountered in a hotel. Front desk staff was lovely. Rooftop impressive. Small stain on sheets. Almost looks like bitters. Would I pay full rate? Probably not."

"Warm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations. The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests."

"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"

GGuest UserVery clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon

**Heavenly1*Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. AAnonymous Usergreat location and facilities, but be prepared for significant noise both early in the morning and late at night. Be randomly arranged units in 889 or 883 Collins st. the noise situation seriously affects the stay. There are several construction sites nearby, and work starts around 7 a.m. every day. The drilling and machinery noise is very loud, making it difficult to sleep in. At night, the problem continues as car enthusiasts often race along the nearby roads, and the engine revving can be extremely disruptive.

Xxincinsuper lovely staff, let me check in abit earlier and plenty of space in the room with comfy bed :) right near tramline and 15ish min walk to palais theatre where i had a concert so super convenient! no elevator incase you have big luggage but it was fine for me and super cool artwork around the place. thanks!

GGeorgia.Good location right opposite Flinders Street Station and on the free tram line, spacious rooms and lots of bathrooms available, friendly staff and lots of free activities to get involved in which was a good way to meet people. Lift to all floors and staff on site 24 hours. Rooms and bathrooms didn’t seem to be cleaned much however, showers had hair in the drain the whole time, and general mess on bedroom floors not ever hoovered up in the 5 days I was there. My bed had a broken USB port however there were two sockets available, and the storage shelf would not shut as the latch was broken - I was offered a lock to purchase to shut this.

GGuest UserThe receptionist wasn’t very friendly. Easy check in. Plenty of parking space. Room was basic but clean. Insulation of the room was not good. It was cold as we can feel the cold air entering the room from the window and door edges. Heater wasn’t functioning. Easy check out. Location ok. Not worth for the price we paid.

11100126445Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and Melbourne’s main attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, it offered great value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Melbourne.
