"We had a wonderful stay at YTI Garden Hotel Melbourne. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with fresh bed sheets, soft pillows, and clean towels provided. We especially appreciated the convenient kitchenette, which included a microwave, electric stove, and cooking utensils, making it easy to prepare simple meals during our stay. The hotel thoughtfully provided most essentials, so we only needed to bring our own toothbrush and toothpaste. The location is excellent, safe for families and just a short walk from major attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, and cafés. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. Their warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team at YTI Garden Hotel Melbourne for a pleasant and memorable stay. "This is an incredibly hip Hyatt-affiliated boutique hotel located in Fitzroy. It blends in perfectly with the local vibe and offers a different feel from Andaz, another Hyatt boutique brand. While check-in is a bit late at 3 PM compared to other hotels, the 12 PM check-out time was actually a plus. The room wasn't huge, but it was fine for one person. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. All the furniture, decor, and amenities were excellent, and the common areas like the lobby, cafe, and rooftop bar were all stylish and impressive spaces. There's no gym in the hotel itself, but they have a partnership with Snap Fitness in Fitzroy's city center, which was actually better as it had more equipment."

"Overall, not a bad hotel. The location is very convenient; all major city attractions are within walking distance. Everything is clean, the reception/foyer areas are pleasant, and there's a cozy lounge in front of the cafe entrance where you can read a book or just pass the time if housekeeping is cleaning your room. The housekeepers are Chinese women, and there were no complaints about the cleaning. It was nice that they changed the bed linen every 2-3 days without us having to ask. The room is certainly very small, but it's perfectly fine for one person, especially if you're there for sightseeing rather than spending time in the room. The miniature window overlooks a wall with AC units and oddly only opened to a 15-centimeter gap at the bottom. Holes in the window screen (mine had a torn screen on this small window) would be a problem in the summer, but no bugs will fly in during a winter month. The room renovation is relatively recent. There's a nice backlight above the headboard. The duvet covers are the same as in Africa, by the way – two regular sheets on either side of the duvet. In the shower, it's inconvenient that there's no handheld showerhead, only an overhead rain shower. There are no toothbrushes with paste or hair conditioner, so keep that in mind. What is provided: shower gel, hairdryer, ironing board with iron, wall-mounted air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, kettle, and everything works perfectly. Bottled water isn't provided because there's no point: the water in Australia is very clean, and everyone drinks tap water. Regarding breakfast: in the 16 days I spent at this hotel, the menu never changed. What you see in my photos here is what was in the cafe every day, the same items in the same spots. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help."

The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was simple and clean, suitable for travelers looking for an affordable place in the CBD. Some areas could be improved, such as room space and soundproofing, but overall it was a comfortable and budget-friendly experience. I appreciate the hospitality and would consider staying again for a short trip to Melbourne"

"Warm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations. The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests."

"Hotel was close to several train and tram stations, making it easy to access a variety of routes and lines. There were also plenty of great food and drink options nearby — from morning coffee and afternoon matcha to flaky pastries and comforting hot meals. While some places were not immediately next door, they were still comfortably walkable, including Little Rogue, Matcha Kobo, Puzzle Coffee, Time After Time, Lulu’s Malaysian Hawker, and many more. Also worth mentioning, I arrived in Melbourne earlier than expected and called the hotel to ask when the room would be ready. The staff were punctual and reliable, as I was able to check in exactly at the time they advised the room would be available."

"Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. "I checked in on the afternoon of June 29th, and overall, my stay was very satisfying! When I arrived at the hotel with quite a bit of luggage, the front desk staff immediately came over to assist me. When they learned I still needed to return my rental car, they promptly helped me with luggage storage, which saved me a lot of hassle. The actual check-in process was very quick, and the staff meticulously introduced all the hotel's facilities and services, exuding professionalism and enthusiasm. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue I encountered after checking in was that the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. However, after I reported it to the front desk, the staff immediately helped resolve the issue by moving me to a different room. I'm very grateful for the proactive and patient assistance from the front desk staff. If I had one minor criticism, it would be that the in-room TV doesn't offer multimedia streaming services like YouTube or Netflix. I hope there's a chance for an upgrade in the future. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a 24-hour McDonald's, Queen Victoria Market, the Winter Night Market, and several tram stations nearby. It's incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and using public transportation. For the price, the value for money is truly excellent. It's a highly recommended accommodation choice, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Melbourne!"
