"Our stay this time was absolutely perfect! I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! The villa featured high, wooden ceilings that were incredibly stylish, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The Thai-style soft furnishings were tastefully arranged, with blue and white throw pillows complementing the solid wood furniture perfectly. Being in the room felt like a Southeast Asian getaway, the atmosphere was just incredible. Not only was the hardware superb, but the service was also impeccable. From check-in to everyday needs, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Their response time was quick, and they even proactively asked about our needs and offered suggestions for activities. The care in every detail made us feel especially welcome. The bedding in the room was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities and amenities were all high-quality; you could really feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. The surrounding environment was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a truly immersive holiday experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"After reading many reviews, I chose this hotel. Before coming, I was worried about cleanliness and heard that the roads nearby were bad. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! The room was big and bright, especially the balcony, which was huge and offered a first-class sea view. Sitting on the balcony was a real treat. The surroundings were also very quiet and beautiful. The room even had its own washing machine, kitchen, and refrigerator, though there were no bowls or pots. It was completely worth the money. We arrived early, and the front desk staff immediately arranged a room for us. I don't know why some people said the roads were bad; the roads were perfectly fine to drive on. Perhaps they were referring to the parking lot road. The only downside is that there aren't many attractions nearby. However, if you're coming for the winter with a few families, it's quite good. Although there's no public transportation, it's easy to hail a ride right outside. The island's sightseeing buggy can also pick up and drop off guests to the bridgehead."

"Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

The soundproofing was excellent too, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. The common areas were clean and tidy, and the free WiFi was super fast – perfect for streaming videos and looking up travel tips without any lag. It really enhanced the relaxed holiday vibe."

"Located within the Shenzhou Peninsula scenic area, the hotel is very close to all the attractions. Upon check-in, our room was upgraded to a higher floor with lovely views of the inner sea. The room was highly automated, with a smart assistant controlling everything. The toilet seat covers, bath towels, and hand towels were all disposable, which was great for hygiene, and mineral water was supplied endlessly. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating; we had an unexpected issue on our checkout day, and they happily granted us a free late checkout. It was a truly satisfying experience."

"The hotel boasts a great location and is very clean and tidy. It lives up to its online description, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast spread is quite good, too. In the evenings, the area really comes alive with various street food stalls and BBQ options. Parking is convenient for those driving, though be careful not to miss the entrance – it's a large, spacious underground lot. I actually drove past it and got stuck in rush hour traffic behind a broken-down truck for ages. It took asking several people before I finally found it."

"I highly recommend Mr. Xia's Courtyard in Wanning. It's a hidden gem of a B&B nestled in a coconut grove! The blue-haired lady was incredibly gentle and attentive, picking us up in a luxury car to check us in. The environment is truly a soothing haven. The B&B is surrounded by lush coconut and banana trees. As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by a blanket of greenery, and even the air is filled with a subtle natural scent. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and a tea table. When the sun shines through, every photo you take is a filter-free Instagram post. At night, the lights come on, creating a gentle, tranquil atmosphere, a true sanctuary far removed from the hustle and bustle. The room is exceptionally comfortable, with excellent light and ventilation. The bedding is as soft as a cloud, and every detail is filled with warmth. The service is truly heartwarming. Whether it's the bright waiting light at the entrance upon arriving in the wee hours or the attentive, responsive front desk staff, it instantly soothes any tiredness. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, proactively recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions and authentic local cuisine, offering travel guides and even hands-on instruction on how to make local hot pot. They even take care of every detail, even pets, making the entire experience feel like family. The amenities are a real plus. The spacious and refreshing public swimming pool in the courtyard offers a refreshing afternoon dip or evening relaxation by the poolside, maximizing the sense of a vacation. Even more delightful is the complimentary breakfast, each homemade and heartwarming, prepared by the owner. Combined with the idyllic countryside views, it's the perfect way to start the day off right."

"My stay at this hotel was incredibly pleasant and satisfying. The hotel's location is super convenient, making transportation a breeze with no stress about getting around. It's just a few hundred meters from the high-speed rail station, and all the amenities you need are nearby. The room was comfortable and cozy, and having 'Xiao Du' (a smart assistant) was a fantastic convenience, perfect for someone lazy like me. The bedding was soft, which really improved my sleep quality. All the hotel staff were warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive to any request. Their service attitude was excellent. KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
