It is tucked into a great neighborhood (Lučac-Manuš) that puts you right in the beating heart of Split while still letting you get a peaceful night's sleep. Historic Sights: You are literally just a 4-minute walk away from the historic Diocletian’s Palace and only 5 minutes away from the famous Split Riva promenade. The massive Gregory of Nin statue is practically around the corner.  Transit Hubs: It’s incredibly convenient if you're arriving by transit or planning to do some island-hopping. The main Split train station, ferry port, and the Trznica bus stop are all within a short, flat 5-to-10-minute walk. You won't have to drag your heavy luggage across town! Beaches & Dining: Bačvice Beach is only about a 10-minute walk away if you want to take a quick dip in the Adriatic. Plus, the hostel is surrounded by amazing local restaurants, bakeries, and cafes (like the famous Bokeria kitchen & wine bar just down the street).  🤝 Super Nice and Helpful Staff A great location means nothing without great hospitality, and the staff at Croparadise are absolute gems. From the literal minute I checked in, the team went above and beyond to make me feel right at home. They are incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling no matter how busy it gets. They sat down with me to give the absolute best local recommendations for hidden-gem restaurants, affordable spots to try authentic Croatian food, and tips on how to save money when visiting nearby islands. They also offer free luggage storage, which was a lifesaver on my last day when I wanted to explore the city without carrying my bags after check-out. They genuinely care about making your Croatian adventure unforgettable!"

"Marko could not have been more helpful. He picked me up from the airport at a late hour for less than a taxi, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He helped me with everything I needed to have a comfortable stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but I am going back to Split later this week and have booked with him already. The location is a stone's throw from the center of town and it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the shampoo/body cleanser they have in the shower, it made my hair very shiny and bouncy! Plus the price cannot be beat. Highly recommend and, as I said, I've booked another stay already. "

"It is a good option for you if you drive since the hotel is located 15 minutes from Split old town. It is a fair distance to drive to the centre. The hotel is new and clean with a modern interior design of the room which makes it pleasant to stay. The well design of the hotel room makes it feel spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is relatively simple with not much choice but that does not bother us since Split has many great restaurants out there waiting for us. Overall, I am satisfied with this stay and would recommend this hotel since it is clean and beautiful."

"The rooms are very clean. Communication is very efficient on WhatsApp, staff is very helpful. Self check in is fairly simple. The kitchen has lots of dish wares and utensils, full sets of kitchenwares like pans, pots in different sizes. Great for family/budget traveling. There are 3 communal washrooms, 1 with both shower stall and toilet; 1 with just the toilet; and 1 with just the shower stall."

"We had the room up in the attic. The receptionist guy was very helpful showed the code to get into the building (will also have it printed on your receipt of your city tax payment). He made sure the boiler for hot water was on and also the air conditioning. Very nice amenities provided, body wash, vanity kit and body wash and the place was very clean. Also the location is only a couple of minutes away from the old town so perfect for exploring."

"It was a horrible night. I couldn't sleep. The motor or mechanism of the ceiling air conditioner was making an infernal noise. Yet, all the control knobs on the wall unit were in the off position!!!! I therefore request a refund for my night's sleep and the tourist tax. Sincerely, Yann MICHEL"

"The hotel is in an incredible location, at an incredible price. The room and building were very clean with great facilities, though some of the room furniture, like the desk chair, could use a bit of a refurbishment. This however for most travelers will be no issue as you will want to be out and about exploring the city and using the room as just a home base. I will absolutely come and stay again, and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Split and my stay at Slavija. It can be a bit hard to find to those new to the winding streets, but the location is perfect for an unforgettable trip. Thanks to the staff at the Slavija for an incredible stay!"

"I didn’t see the construction nearby on the evaluation. I followed the navigation and went around a big circle before driving the car to the hotel entrance (a small facade, and a floor to climb), and I went to the front desk inside the door to consult before I knew that I could drive the car to the hotel’s internal parking lot behind (pay 15 euros a night), The hotel has 9 rooms, on the first floor, breakfast is next to the front desk, it is convenient, and there are many things to eat."
